I went last week along with my overseas guest for this Lousy Indian Restaurant on Sunday Dinner around 9.30 pm. Indian Tamil Waiter who was very rude, arrogant, and unhygienic taking orders and rushing us. Upon this behavior we requested him to speak to Manager/owner and he flatly refused to do so. After much insistence their unprofessional and indecent manager showed up and ignored our complaint and supported strongly waiters wrongdoing and abusive to all of us which prompted us to file a police complaint on verbal abuse to us. While we were dining we noticed rat coming out of their kitchen and loud noise coming out of their party room. It was noticed by all of us at their party room, a minor was served with alcohol and got intoxicated and went into fight with someone. This place has bad reputation of hiring illegal aliens and serving stale food to its customers, very rude and discourteous service to the customers. A Health Dept is being notified of possible surprise health check and shutdown of this place. A Manager on dutyrefused to give his name upon request instead touting his mafia connection and retaliation. Certainly this place should not be licensed to operate business. For public safety/health concerns, customers are hereby warned to refrain from visiting this restaurant.

This Indian restaurant, just like any other Indian restaurants in the vicinity will satisfy your craving for Indian food and thats it. There is nothing special about this restaurant. The quality of food is just average, nothing great compared to what you can expect to eat in India. The buffet has good amount of options but again all of the dishes are kind of incomplete, doesnt give you the satisfaction of eating it. The problem with most of the Indian restaurants, including this one is that, they try to accomodate so many things in the buffet menu that you get lost. For instance, why do you have to serve Dosa during lunch or dinner? In India thats part of breakfast and why cant you keep it for break fast and rather concentrate on making your lunch items more tastier? The price is moderate, although its expensive compared to local restaurants but can be attributed to price of Indian grocery/spices etc. And if you are a fan of non-veg, dont expect a lot of items in non-veg, they usually have 1 non-veg dish in the buffet. Havent tried their A-la-carte options though. So would I recommend this hotel? Yes, I will, apparently because there arent many options. But if the same restaurant was in India, I would not.

Some positive reviews from my friends got me to finally try their Saturday Lunch buffet and I must say it was quite satisfying for $12.99. Their non-veg selection was limited to about 5 dishes as was their desserts - but for the sheer overall variety of dishes (slightly leaning to South Indian), they really did a great job! And taste and quality was pretty good for all dishes. The biggest sour point I had was that their website said Saturday lunch buffet was $10.99 but we only found out when the bill arrived. Plus they charged $8 for the "buffet" that my 3-year old had! So the bill came to even more than the lunch buffet we could have had from Madras Grill since small kids eat free there! At the end of it even without the price hiccup, Madras Grill, just a few miles away, is a better overall experience in terms of richness and flavour as well as great service, in their Sunday lunch buffet even though they have slightly fewer items (although more non-veg than Priya Cuisine) and is more pricy at $15.00.

I live in New Hampshire and found this restaurant on the web. Having tried a variety of indian restaurants in and around the area, I found Priya to be a welcome change in several aspects - in the quality of the food, service and the choice of dishes. This is the only place I have found so far in and around Mass / NH which serves South Indian, North Indian, Indo-Chinese food - all of which are of excellent quality and built to perfection. I travel about 1 hour to get to this restaurant multiple times a month simply because of the excellent quality and taste of pretty much all dishes I have tried so far. The Chicken 65 is simply superb. They cater to all levels of spicyness and will leave you wanting to come back for more. The people are extremely friendly and welcoming and I would recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone who loves Indian food. Great job guys.. Keep it up !!!

I was a regular weekend visitor to Priya. I really liked their food but over the time they are diminishing their food quality and the another major reason for this review is their service. The servers were nice and gentle initially and now I can see humongous change in their behavior. Recently, I asked one of their waiter to have Dosa but the reply was "It is for few selected buffet customers....I don`t know what rule they follow" May be they were in laws for them:). It was very disgusting experience and ruined my weekend. This is not me, I talked few other people in my community and most of them says: Yes there is degradation in their food and service quality. You may see couple more reviews soon. Suggestion: There are other same kind places in near by areas, they treats their customer extreme gently....I will avoid to visit Priya again and do not suggest to anyone.

We went for a buffet. Nothing was good, everything served in the buffet seems to be old items, reheated and served. It seems re-heating starchy food changes its molecular structure, turning it into ‘resistant starch’. This resistant starch will end up immediately to suffer from stomach bloat. vomit, non stop kick ups and diarrhea. Our whole family ended up sick. My daughter was throwing and had diarrhea all night. We took her to the doctor and he is one who found that this resistant starch created our whole family fall into sick. He asked us to take some liquid kefir and hot tea regularly. We regularly go to Indian restaurants, but this Priya restaurant is the one we will rank the worst among the worst. To keep your health good, please avoid these kind junky greasy restaurant.

My wife and I eat Indian food quite often and while passing through Lowell we stumbled upon Priya. We ordered two appetizers chili paneer and chickrn 65 and two entrees Navaratan Khorma and tandoori chicken saag. Everything was perfectly spice and taste the delicious. The dishes were truly authentic and prepared perfectly, the vegetables were fully cooked but yet not mushy. There was also a very large group of Indian people who must have been there for a party of some sort, I am usually comfortable eating in places that are frequented by there own culture. Especially Indian as they are very heavy critics of food and service.
