Did not sit at the Hibachi, so no opinion on that aspect of my dining experience. However, I did think the sushi tasted very good, but was not rolled well at all. Trying to pick up the sushi became difficult as it would fall apart from the poor job at rolling. There was a salad called "JJ Salad" which was excellent. Avoid the miso soup at all costs, it was cold and we were given only about half a ladel full, not even worth the 2.50 we paid per bowl. While I thought the wait staff was friendly and attentive, their appearance put off my girlfriend. Overall, this is mediocre Japanese, yet it is better than other choices for Japanese around this part of Cincinnati. I would rather eat sushi here than at Tai Nam-Tip and for the love of God avoid Kabuto on Colerain.

The food is always good, but nothing special compared to other Hibachi restaurants. The service is fine, the atmosphere is okay maybe a little old looking, the seats are definitely in need of replacement. The big issue I have is what you get for the money, the restaurant is overpriced for what you get. When I saw my bill I was a little concerned, as I thought my credit card had been stolen. It said Dantes Inferno, then it switched to something like poppies Bar and then finally a few days later it said Sakura, very confusing. This needs to be fixed.

The west side of Cincinnati is in desperate need of restaurants that are not steak houses, however, this is not it. The food wasnt bad but the service is terrible. We were promised a table in 30 minutes and 40 minutes later we had to ask. We asked for white wine and got red. We asked for a order of sushi as an appetizer and didnt get it until we finished our meal. We never thought we would be wishing for Benihana.

The experience tonight at Sakura House has been less than mediocre. The cooking session was amateur down to the seasoning, cutting, temp and flare. I cant believe I paid 85.00 for two. The beverages all warm, beer should be cold. Very disappointed with the experience despite other good and okay reviews. word of mouth. Felt no effort to earn my business with service. Under delivered compared to word of mouth..

Although I have not eaten at the hibachi the sushi at Sakura is excellent. I usually sit at the sushi bar and the experience is very pleasant. I highly recomment the YamYam roll, it is different but wonderful. The service is not anything to write home about, but the quality of the sushi makes up for it. For sushi I would recomment Sakura, for a high fine dining experience, you may want to look elseware.

This place is great, always great service and they can always get you in even without a reservation. . The food and service both blow beni hana out of the water, and their yam yam sauce is just as amazing as beni hanas. . Dont waste your time going to beni hana in tri county and instead come here!

The food is great but the service is very slow. It takes forever for the main chef to come and start cooking your food. Dont go unless you have an 2 hours + to spend and if your okay with loud music and flashing lights in the bar next to you the whole time shaking the entire restaurant!!

My boyfriend and I have been coming here once or twice a month for a long time and the service has been great. The sushi bar is amazing~, the hibachi is a great time for the whole family.... dont miss out on this hidden treasure on the westside. We are in fact going again tonight....:)

Smaller portions for an hibachi grill. The food was ok but the pop was flat and the restaurant was dirty with some very nasty looking base board heaters. When I received my bill, it was over $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids (that shared a plate)

Food was good but after we got our initial drinks we didnt get a refill until someone at our table got up to go get the waitress. After that it still took her another 5 minutes or longer to refill our drinks.

Sushi is awesome, stay clear of the Hibachi, too much garlic, no egg in the fried rice, no showmanship, over cooked the large size pieces of chicken. Told it would be a minute wait (just under an hour)
