I have been meaning to write this review for Bombay Brazier since I ordered to-go from there for earlier this year on business. I used the other popular business search app which suggested that Bombay Brazier was one of the highest rated restaurants in the area. I have a penchant for spicy food and this place D-E-L-I-V-E-R-E-D on the SPICE!!! I ordered the Chili Lamb with Spinach Naan which as I understand is already one of the spiciest dishes on the menu... but not satisfied with that, I asked over the phone if it could be made EXTRA spicy. When the woman taking my order asked how spicy I would like it, from 1-to-10, I told her 10... she asked if I was sure, I confirmed. When I picked up my order, she told me to be careful and asked to me to please let her know how it was because the chef must have brought out the works for this dish. (This review is longer than I expected, but bear with me...). I got back to my hotel and set up my desk area ready for my dinner. My first bite I was blown away... THIS IS THE SPICE I ALWAYS WANTED! The lamb was so soft and soaked in moist spices that I soaked up with the Spinach Naan. A minute or two into eating, the heatwave began to kick in, my nose was running and I started to sweat. I had to back off of the meal but soon returned. The heat from this customized dish of inferno was almost overwhelming was soo addicting. I could not finish the entire dish as I was full and overheating. (But I did the next day). For those concerned about spice and heat, keep in mind they level of both can be adjusted to taste. I loved this dish so much, I am planning on returning to Bombay Brazier on an upcoming business trip to Blue Ash.

My fiancé and I were visiting from out of town and found Bombay Brazier online. We are so glad we stumbled upon this great place! Our first impression was that the atmosphere was very nice. It had high ceilings, a nice bar, beautiful decor, and a romantic vibe. We had some of the best service I think Ive ever had at a restaurant! Our server was very intuitive and helped us navigate the menu, made great suggestions, and offered us everything we could have wanted. Their support staff was also incredible. Our water glasses never went empty, and our table was always cleared of finished dishes. I loved how everyone worked as a team to provide such a great experience! Our server took us on a tour of their wine room, introduced us to one of the owners (the wife of the husband/wife team), and even brought us back into the kitchen! I was amazed by the whole experience! The kitchen was clean and the staff was friendly! Every single dish is prepared to order, so guests can choose their level of spiciness. The food was absolutely delicious, which made the whole experience even better! Throughout our meal, the second owner (the husband of the husband/wife team) came out to check on us. We interacted with several different workers including the manager staff, our server, the front of house workers, and the guys in the kitchen! It really made the whole thing an awesome experience rather than just simply eating at another plain old restaurant! All in all, awesome atmosphere, great service, and delicious food!

We LOVE Chez Rip!!! During the Cincy Pro tennis tournament we frequent Bombay Brazier. We come in for a late dinner and sit at the bar with Chez Rip himself. The food is ASTONISHING!. Chez Rip will help and advise in taste and especially in portion. He will not let you over order, and please trust the man. He knows his business but more importantly looks out for his customers. The Mrs. knows her wine. So sit back and enjoy. They will serve you diligently. And PS, enjoy an after dinner whiskey and soak in the conversation. Dr. Jeff

Ok I give five star cause the food was simply amazing. I loved the soup. I recommend to take the first one on the menu (I dont remember the name, chicken and rice inside). The bad side is that service was poor. The first waiter couldnt understand what I would say nor could explain what was on the menu. At some point, I didnt know who was my waiter. If service is important for you it might not be a good place but if you enjoy food Im pretty sure you are gonna like it.

Actually less than a star. Ordered Lamb biryani to go. I guess someone should teach them how to make biryani. This biryani was horrible. Felt like I was eating chilli fried rice with lots and lots of onion , capsicum , and haldi. It had plenty of boneless pieces of meat but no taste at all. I guess they just mixed rice with some spices or lot of spices and meat pieces. Simple waste of $32.00. I am scared to taste the kadai lamb. Guess all this goes in the dustbin .

The presentation and atmosphere were fantastic! We lived in Chicago for years and got a little spoiled with Indian food, but this place can hold their head up high. You are not going to get off cheap, but you get what you pay for. The owner actually took are order, and the staff makes you feel quite at home. For a nice evening out, that isnt a sports themed family restaurant, this is the place to go.

Bombay Brazier is a true gift for Cincinnati. It is by far the best Indian cuisine restaurant. The food choice is plenty and it is like authentic home cooked food. The wine choice is great, you will find a good wine by price and grape plus lovely single malt and whiskey collection. Rip and his family treat you like their family and will customize the dish for you. A must visit restaurant. Sanjay

Fantastic up-scale Indian food at a family-run restaurant. Very flavorful and authentic - if you are weary or never tried Indian food, this is a great place to start! About $10-20 per plate but the quality and service is worth it. Great for a date night! Oh, and if you like spicy as I do, this place is for you.. be careful with anything over a 7, as they use freshly ground peppers! (-:

The owner was wonderful. The food very tasty and a cut above your average Indian food ( and being from Toronto, I eat a lot of Indian food these days) and the atmosphere pleasant. Service was slow however. I will say that maybe they were accommodating my group but being hungry I would have rather had some speed. That minor (and its minor) quibble aside give it a try. The lamb was delicious

Not only is this the best Indian restaurant in Cincinnati...but its probably the best Ive ever had (and Ive lived in Chicago and San Francisco). The food is outstanding, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is great. The restaurant is a bit hard to find, so you may have the place largely to yourself. Dont let that stop you from checking this place out.

Such a beautiful and inviting restaurant. One of the absolute gems of Cincinnati. The steak I ate last week was seriously the best I have ever eaten in my life, ever. Service is impeccable, as is the wine and spirits list. With Rip in the kitchen, and G running the front of the house, I would recommend dining here to anyone who loves tasty food.
