Underwhelming. I live close to Annapurna and was excited to try it when it changed hands from Breads of India as it was terrible. We had the vegetable pakora, lamb kebab and chicken vindaloo. The lamb was over cooked and tough, not at all what youd hope for nor get from most other Indians. The vindaloo was better but still lacked a lot of flavor. Theres still an absence of great curry in Oakland but there are certainly better places than this nearby which well stick to from now on.

Excellent food with good selection of very clearly marked vegan options. Friendly, knowledgeable, pleasant staff. Cheerful dining room with large windows for city viewing. Very child friendly. We sent for a birthday family dinner; vegans & omnivores were pleased & plan on being regulars. Best veggie pankoras, light, filling, and quite addictive. Conveniently located in downtown Oakland, ample onstreet parking. Not 100% vegan/vegetarian.

This is normally one of my favorite restaurants. Today I was saddened to arrive at the restaurant and they do not have a lunch menu at lunchtime. Not sure how that makes sense. The waiter then told me, or we will have it tomorrow!!?? Although the venue was slightly busy the service was slow. I was upset because the dinner potions were small, and I still payed full price. I hate to say it, but I wont be back.

Nepalese inspired food. This restaurants wood beamed cathedral ceiling graciously serves up hearty authentic dishes at reasonable prices. Super friendly, ever present, and unassuming service. Great food and central location. Easy public transportation access with both street and garage parking availability. Close to swans market and variety of other eateries.

I visited this restuarant 1 week back with my family.food was super delicious and mindblowing..garlic naan was out of the fabulous best in bay area i love their coconut chicken ..must try their special menu Decoration is also good and they are very clean Welcoming friendly and kind staff Their tandoor is wonderfull must try salmon tandoor

I have lived in India for several years and also know about Indian culture a lot. This restaurants claims they have authentic indian dishes. I must tell that it tastes no where near authentic indian food. Anybody who have tried real India food will never like this place. And they charge more too compare to other indian restaurants.

Chicken korma and vegetable pakora very good (my companion didnt much like the pakora), but the ghost biryani was too salty for me (she liked it, although she would have liked it more if it were less salty). Place is immaculate, staff was friendly but quiet. Well probably come back.

What a great ambiance! Not only that, we ordered salmon tandoor and chicken tikka masala one of the best. Good things about this place, I can have my favorite drinks mojito too. . This is the must try place. Im sure this would be my favorite place for dinner.
