Horrible service! i am writing this with my broken heart. 1)they wont clean table and chairs properly, when we request them to clean the sitting sofa/chair, he just throwed the food on the floor with a cloth. 2)they serve very late. 3) they serve food other than what you order, also we ordered medium spice, they served very spicy food which my son couldnt eat. 4)all my life i have been vegetarians. when i order my food, they served non-veg food 5)There is a server which he might be 20-30 years old, he just goes to each table ask what we need but dont actually serves, may be he is acting in front of his boss, may be he does not like his job, he asked us what we want we ordered the food, he listened and at last he said he is not the person to take the order. Every time he asks listens and wont bring anything. We have to call other servers for our orders. he is just disturbing us in the middle of our conversations with my peers, but dont actually serves but just acts like he is serving and helping others. He observed that we emptied our plates he came to our table few times but he did not lifted the plates/clear the table. what ever i asked him he never did. I asked him to refill the chutneys comes with the papads, he never came back, we again requested a serving lady, she brought it at last. At the end of our meal, this 25 year old lazy unhappy male server -all he did was filling the water at the tables, if he dont help customers - why would he bother customers? 6) we left some tip because we ate food but we all were unhappy with the bad service! Worst service !

As always, I was very impressed with my last visit to Taj Mahal Grill. The owner, Mohammad, is a very gracious host, and always makes it a point to greet me and my girlfriend personally. It strikes me what a great indicator of excellent customer that that simple gesture is. The food was excellent! We had the chicken makhani, which was extremely flavorful with a pleasant level of spiciness behind it (we only ordered medium heat, but asking for to be "Indian hot" really ramps up the spice level. Give it a shot!) My girlfriend and I comfortably shared one order of chicken makhani, one order of paneer kulcha (their bread is PERFECT!), and the rice that comes with the curry (as much as you can eat when you dine in.) We STILL left with a little bit left over, and didnt break the bank to do it. All in all, this is a five star establishment ran by people who want nothing more than to give the customer a great and memorable experience. Ill be back soon! P.S. they now have a banquet hall in addition to their main dining room. Mohammad gave us a short tour of the hall, and he seemed very happy with our reaction, as the hall would be an EXCELLENT place for a business luncheon, rehearsal dinner, or any type of group event.

I went for the first time last night and loved it. The food was delicious and you have a plethora of choices! I got the lamb curry with pineapple in it. It was the bomb! My girlfriend got some kind of chicken curry and she ordered it a little to spicey, uh-oh. So shes eating it and I can see she is just having such a hard time getting that food down with every bite there is a sip of water. So the owner comes over looks at her without asking any questions and he says "This curry is to hot for you". She just nods her head with her face all flushed. So he says Ill make you a more mild curry. I thought wow thats awesome and then he brings her out the far more mild version of the curry and she really enjoyed it. The service was great and we both really enjoyed our food. Here is what I believe will be a useful tip... the different levels of spice. There is: no spice, mild, medium, hot. We both got medium. It was the perfect amount of heat for me being some one who has grown up and eats a lot of cajun.

Mediocre food & service. Try at your own risk! Ordered chicken samosa appetizer but that never arrived . Turns out they had forgot to add it to my order. They gave me chicken samosa as complimentary later but my main course had already arrived. Chicken samosa stuffing smelled funny & didnt taste like fresh chicken. Even the tea came with main course when we had specifically mentioned for tea along with appetizers.Babycorn manchurian was ok. Dont order vegetable soup , its almost same as lentil soup only with veggies. This was the first time I saw veg soup with lentil base. Why do they have a separate lentil soup then? Naan and panner tikka masala was ok. Avoid chicken bhuna masala , chicken was dry & rubbery. It seemed like chicken was cooked long before and was just put into masala later. Service was average. We got 1 gulab jamun as complimentary dessert but that even didnt taste good.

I have been trying to give this place a chance for years. It is just so inconsistent. My most recent experience was good. The food was good (not great, but still good). The service was also good. Prior visits have been all over the place. Sometimes both the food and service have been excellent, other times both have been terrible. Based on my last experience, I will give them another try. My husband and I had abandoned this place, but went most recently because we were invited to join a birthday celebration there. Based on our experience this time, we will probably go back again (prior to the birthday invitation we had decided not to ever try it again). If the next experience is good, we may become regulars again. However, if it is bad we will most likely never go back. Hopefully they have fixed the issues regarding consistency and we can make it one of our regular places again.

Great food! The atmosphere was were comfortable and very serene. Overall great experience , food was delicious and the service was traditionally Indian, very hospitable. The young lady who was serving me was very sweet, and was from Nepal, she took very good care of me. However, there was a concern when I was leaving. The gentleman who was the manager was extremely ignorant. Taj Mahal, I love your food, but I need to bring to your attention that as a customer I did not feel comfrotable around this guy. Im a Sunni Muslim, and this guy just bashed out my whole creed, implying that Ismaili Muslims are the real Muslims and that we are not. I think that was very unprofessional and uncalled for. Overall everything was good, but this remark was very offensive. I hope he doesnt discuss religion or issues as such in front of the other people, because it will not be appreciated!

I recommend this place to anyone that knows good indian food. Taj Mahal Grill surpassed my expectation! The owner himself made sure I was ok and even served me when the other waiters were busy. The chef surprised me with a complimentary appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. I decided to order a mango lassi and Butter Chicken. It was absolutely delicious!! That is a big compliment coming from me since Ive tried over 30 different Indian restaurants in about several different states. At the end of my meal the owner served me with a complimentary desert and he even offered tea to take home! This place knows what excellent service is and I think every business owner in Georgia should go dine at Taj Mahal so they can learn how to improve their own business.
