The food was bland and there was something noticeably missing it was like they figured lets just half make the meal , they wont notice. Uh I did the curry was bad just bad . Come on the prices are way too high for such bland half done food. Another issue I had was the rice was mixed with cooked and uncooked rice. Yes so I definitely was having a hard time chewing the crap. When I brought it to the waitress attention she says "oh they have all the rice in a big container and some of the rice gets hard around the container . That are stuck to the sides." Um I know what the difference between cooked and uncooked rice, and the fact that you all served it to someone speaks loads that you are greedy and half making the dishes. I will not be spending my money here again there are other Indian restaurants with better service and food. Do not waste your time and money here.

Food used to be the best Indian food I ever tasted and the ambience is still great. I ordered the aloo gobi (vegan) and they brought me rounded patatoes out of a can ( I know because Ive seen them at walmart before) and it lacked all of the herbal seasonings that they once used to use as I have ordered that before there. I make this recipe at home and needless to say mines actually tasted better than the aloo gobi that was served to me and I am not even Indian. It also lacked sauce that normally us cooked in and when I asked for more sauce they brought me chicken tiki Masala sauce which was an entirely different sauce from what I had ordered. Not sure if they had a change in chefs but they are definitely getting lazy back there and taking short cuts, I decided to never go again.

I have NEVER given 5 stars to any establishment but wow..walked in right before close..place was super clean, theres a side to come grab lunch real quick then a real swanky lounge were you can enjoy the hookah, Completely closed off from the other side of the restaurant. The food was well cooked, full menu still available. I had Lamb with a yogurt sauce with some rice and spices. Drinks were strong (ask for a hot and sexy if you like Irish cream) very friendly and accommodating staff. our waitress was great: knowledgeable and informative. We sat under the canopy couch and it was a real intimate but lively feeling vibe. Manager came out to great us. Just very pleasant experience

My friend and I came here for a few drinks and hookah. The hookah didnt even work, and we waited and waited for a waiter to come by. He spoke almost no English and seemed not to care that we were dissatisfied. The manager was kind, but was busy in the restaurant and couldnt help. When we expressed that the hookah wasnt working properly, the manager was very condescending and told us it was fine. Probably will return to get drinks and hang out, but thats it. We will not order hookah again. To put it bluntly, the service and the hookah sucked. But the alcohol was pretty good.

Nah, Im not buying this joint. Expensive bites that dont live up to the hype. I had an unsavory experience with my Tikka Marsala. The food was dry and then I almost fainted when I seen the bill, honestly its not me being cheap as I usually am. The hookah bar is literally the only thing that this place has going for it. The hookah bars reach extends all the way to Clayton State Univerisity, where some of my friends would go there regularly. But if you are looking for a bite to eat, its not worth what they are charging. You can take that to the bank.

My wife and I have dined at this restaurant several times. The food never disappoints. It is always very good. The lamb was not my favorite but never the less, it was good. I highly recommend the buttered chicken and the garlic naan. The service is good because everyone is very, very nice-especially the owner. On two occasions I did find a couple of small bones in my food. Normally I would be upset and complain, but honestly, the food is so good that I was still 100% satisfied. I still cant get my mind off of that naan.

EXCELLENT food. J.D. the owner is very nice and does his best to make sure everything is perfect and Chef Sani not only has a mastery of cooking, but he can make virtually anything special you ask for. This is my favorite restaurant in Fayetteville and I will go back with my family many, many more times. I like the lamb kadai and the matar paneer. My kids like Sanis special fries. Get lots of naan bread and try a small pint of the Indian dark beer for something unique. - it is infused with curry and other spices.

Nice spot off the beaten path. Tucked behind Arbys and Captain Ds, you would definitely miss it is you werent looking for it. The food wasnt the best Indian Ive ever had but it was pretty good. We ordered the Samosa Chaat, Palak Paneer, Daal Tarka, and Garlic Nan. If you like spice and can typically handle the heat, I would suggest you request Hot for your spice level. I ordered mild plus and would have liked it to be spicier. Aside from that, the venue had a cool vibe and the wait staff was nice and accommodating.

Stopped there when I was in town for work. The place looked very clean and they were not busy when I ordered to go. I waited for my food and the man I presumed was the owner came over to me to make small talk. He asked where I worked and I showed him the label on my shirt, after which he made multiple jokes about me taking my clothes off...I ignored him so he said it again just to make sure I heard him. The whole experience was very awkward and I wouldnt want to experience it again just for mediocre food.

Hmm.. two Ninas posting one-star reviews at the same time. Suspicious to say the least. Take my advice instead and go to this restaurant to try some outstanding Indian food. Weve been going to Khalifa since it opened, and weve always been happy with them. Good food, good people. Highly recommended. The lunch buffet is always a favorite of ours. Theyre closed on Mondays, although Google will try and tell you otherwise.

Khalifa catered for my graduation party, and the catering was absolutely amazing! Khalifa provided us with more than enough food for 60 guests. The guests, mostly Indian, enjoyed the food, and many said they would be eating there soon. Khalifa did a splendid job; my experience with them was better than any other restaurant Ive catered from, and I would gladly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

Food was great, but the owner or manager showed a big difference in the way he treats his customers, being my first time there I think he should of came and spoke to us, he caetered to his returning customers, it was a buffet he allowed them to take out to go boxes, I ask the waitress if I could get mines to go, he sent another waitress over to tell me no, So I want be returning.

Its an ok place. Mainly the only thing i liked was the different variety of foods. But its INDIAN. Dont go if your used to golden Carroll or regular fast food. The menu is Kinda Overpriced especially because you dont know what your paying for. They have a Hooka lounge for Adults and for $20 dollars u can smoke like firewater from sasage party. Overall its ok But Im not going back.
