My 4 year-old son and I dine at Antonios often and on different days of the week. When I ask him where he would like to go for dinner, he always responds with, "Antonios!" The staff is great, very attentive, and the food.....wow, the food! Everything is outstanding. I have never been disappointed I think mainly because they are consistent with serving fantastic dishes. From the Pescatore Pizza to the Lasagna Napolitana to the Chicken Piccata, it is all delicious. The portions are hearty and we always have leftovers! I have tried to get my son to try other pizza but he always responds with, "Antonios is better, Mom." So, I have stopped trying other places and Antonios is our Italian restaurant of choice in Wilmington.

Were originally from NY & NJ (of Italian Heritage) and boy is it rare to find an Italian restaurant that has Sicilian Pizza (thick crust square pizza) on the menu. So when we saw that The Italian Bistro did we had to try it - well we werent disappointed! The crust was baked to perfection with just the right amount of crispy outer crust that when we took a bite revealed the softness and flavor of the cooked homemade pizza dough inside! The marinara sauce is homemade as well, that combined with the fresh mozzarella cheese and a few toppings and fuhgeddaboudit! The best weve ever had in the 20+ years between us down here. Well be back for more! Give the Italian Bistro a try - you wont be disappointed!

New to the area, I recently tried Antonios meat lasagna to go. It was a huge disappointment, especially at the steep price of $16.00 ($15.00 + tax). When you crave lasagna, what you want is that delicious melding of flavors of the homemade meat sauce and cheeses between the layers of noodles. What Antonios served me was bland ground beef between some noodles, red canned tomato sauce poured on top with some cheese. Just layering those ingredients does not lasagna make! I realize that my expectations may have been too high as Antonios is not fine dining, but considering the quality of the food, the price point should be around $8.00.

Air conditioning not working. No sign out front warning us of this in advance. Out of Merlot! Really? An Italian restaurant is out of Merlot at 7:00 on a Saturday night? Soups and salads were ok. My husbands ravioli was delicious. My chicken picatta was bland. I make it better at home. The pasta was overcooked and that really irks me. Should be al dente! The chicken itself had no flavor and the soft noodles were way too lemony albeit the cooks were probably melting in the kitchen. Our sons pizza was ok. Nothing to rave about. Our server was wonderful. Probably wont return.

Dont waste your time because that is what they will do to you. I used to order from them several times a week. There food was great. In the past few months their customer service has gone down hill, portions have gotten smaller, quality has gotten worse and the wait has tripled. i have cancelled several orders with them after they did not arrive 20 min AFTER the estimated time. On one occasion i was told that the order should be here any min and still another 20 minutes went by before i called and cancelled the order, AGAIN !!! If i could leave a negative star rating I would.

Antonios used to be one of our favorite places but the "new management" is doing things differently. First it takes an hour and a half to get your pizza. Next the pizza is cold and wrong. But the most disappointing is that they have really skimped on the sauce and topping making this pizza only rival the one made by Chef Boyardee. The pizza was just gross. How do you make gross pizza? Its really bad and its really disappointing to see such great pizza turn so horrible.

Came for Sunday lunch, waited at the table 20 minutes before the waiter came to take our drink order. We tried to go ahead and order our food at that time, but the waiter refused, saying he was too busy to take our food order at that time. 20 minutes later he finally returned with our drinks (which were wrong) and agreed to take our food order at that time. Still waiting on food at the moment, dont come here if u want a good experience!

Did not get a chance to try it. My wife and I went in to try it and it was 10 minutes until 10pm and the Open sign was shown. We went in and immediately were great with "Were closed". No "come back on x time tomorrow..." or nothing. So I jokingly said "did you need me to turn the sign from open to closed..." and he lady said "would you please..." LOL what a huge disappointment. Well never ever go there again

Attempted to order delivery tonight and I was rudely asked to "hold on a second". During that time the phone line was left open and herd a gaggle of girls cussing fighting. At the 4 minuet mark they just hung up the phone on me. Sorry for attempting to give you my business. I called Brooklyn pizza and ordered in under 2 minuets. Get your stuff together!!!

Always fast, friendly service whether dining in or taking out. Since moving to Porters Neck in October, my husband and I have become regulars at Antonios. They have weeknight specials and a great rewards program, but it is the food that keeps bringing us back (we love the Stromboli and the pasta with red cream sauce- huge portions!).

A simple little place with good pizza and subs. The pizza had some great , actually flavorful, cheese and sauce, with a noticeably great fresh basil flavor. The italian sub i had was good. My sub came with chips, that appeared to be thick cut and home made, yummy.

We really enjoy having Antonios in our neighborhood, and frequently order delivery. The pizza, pasta, salad, and appetizers are all delicious, in my opinion. We especially love their caesar dressing and spicy seafood pasta (seafood fra divalo).
