Visited this pizzeria on Thursday, August 5th 2010 and was one of my most favorite eating places until today. I usually take out but today I wanted to introduce a friend to this neat eatery over in Rocky Mount. Were from out of town. Sat down and had just started to eat when a brown crawley thing caught my eye and tried to help itself to some of my friends lunch... YEP! A cockroach.We quickly got up and moved from that area.When we attempted to make the establishment aware of the issue we were told well at least it wasnt in the food. And of course that kind of response didnt sit well. No apology was made and never attempted. The manager or owner attempted to blow the matter off and didnt want to talk about it. So before we left we informed him based on his non-responsive demeanor about an issue in his restaurant he did not want to address we were gonna contact the local health dept, a local tv show that does restaurant ratings and he lost two customers who will probably never return to that pizza place again. If you dare go take notice their plastic utensils are uncovered and roaches leave droppings and a trail for others to follow. What happens at night after closing when they come out to play. Thats a health hazard and is a BIG DEAL... Consumers Beware. When going to this pizza place R is Restaurant with Roaches and take your Raid!

Ive been eating at Italian Pizzeria since the 90s. Not even Hurricane Floyd could take them down in 1999! The service had always been outstanding and the...food.....well i think they have the best cheesesteak hoagie in the world!

This place has been home for me for many years! No one can compare to the food or service they deliver daily. Mike the owner is simply Awesome! Headed there right now for lunch.

I really enjoyed the food. I always get the ham and cheese calzone, which is huge! Everyone is super nice and the seating works great for our family of 6!
