The owners at Prosecco were just as wonderful as the food!! I had made reservations for 14 people on a day that they are normally closed during the winter season. The owners were so accommodating. They brought in staff and turned on all the equipment for our small birthday party for my wife. I had been in contact with them for a week prior working on the menu. They had great suggestions for appetizers and the main entree. We had just finished up doing a beer and wine tour with Crush Beer & Wine Tours. When we arrived it was a blizzard outside and they were ready and waiting for us. First of all, the decor of the restaurant is absolutely amazing. It has a real Italian feel to it. They brought out appetizers, which were arancini balls, filled with pesto and goat cheese. They were the best I have ever had. I could have had them for an entree and been completely satisfied. After those many of the people were getting full as they continued to bring out warm bread that we dipped in the sauce. Then they brought us a "family" style salad. We had the house Riesling dressing and it was wonderful. The Chicken Parmesan was Fantastic; perfectly cooked and good portions. They were also served family style with a side of pasta. We also had grilled vegetable medley. I am not a big vegetable lover but I made sure to bring them home with us with any other leftovers we had. They were cooked perfectly and delicious the next day as well. My family and I will be back for sure to try other menu items, This was a very authentic Italian meal. If you havent been already, give them a try as I think You will love it, too!

Italian food for Italians. For those with long waits for tables, consider that that may be the mark of a great restaurant. My experience has always been good although I admit that I usually sit at the bar. When bar server Mary is on, you will be treated to extraordinary service. The pizza is the best I have ever had and there is no skimping on toppings. The calamari is great and is served with a side dish for dipping of marinara sauce thats about as good as it gets. You will taste the fresh basil. The bread is to die for. Finally, the ambiance is intimate and yes a bit crowded but the rooms acoustics allow conversation without the din frequently found at many popular restaurants.

My family of 5 (including 3 kids under 7) were treated like royalty when we ate here last night (3/13/15). From the moment we walked through the door everyone made us feel welcomed and the food was outstanding. If youve ever been brave enough to take little ones out to dinner you know it can be a headache if the restaurant isnt in-sync, but they were super accommodating about a car seat and even volunteered to move a nearby table to make more room. Service was world-class and friendly. Food was on-time, every person was polite and meals were prompt (but not too fast). Highly recommended...thanks for a great experience!

The reasoning for my 2 stars is this. When I come to your expensive restaurant and spend good money I expect good service. Not sub par. Once we were sat down it took 20 minutes just to receive our drinks. No bread was given when it was offered (waitress must have forgot). We received our food about 45 minutes later. It was nothing over the top. The granite table we were sitting at was fake and cheesier than the skimpy four cheese pizza. I do not recommend this restaurant. Slow service. Okay.. food. For 30+ dollars per person you can find much better Italian cuisine and atmosphere.

The food was good to very good, but let me assure you having someone singing old pop songs to sequences and a drum machine does not make this a "jazz bar". In fact, its hardly music. The Rochester area is literally hemorrhaging good jazz musicians, so theres no excuse for putting something cheesy on stage when you promise jazz. Playing rock and roll through the house speakers between sets completed the musical let-down. The wait staff was good, but the support they receive from bus staff and such is mediocre.

The food here is wonderful. A mix of standard Italian fare and unique combinations. All very fresh, none of the flavors overpowering. Atmosphere and ambiance are lovely. There was a trio playing the night we went, but even with close quarters inside, we could still have a good conversation. Waitstaff was pleasant; not terribly attentive, but we never had to wait for food and they were not intrusive. I guess thats just what you want from your waiter / waitress! I will definitely visit again.

So disappointed tonight. I had the Aglio/Olio - I asked how it was cooked, and was told with oil and very little butter). I let the waiter know I would like very little butter and oil due to dietary issues. When I received my meal, the oil/butter mixture was like soup around the pasta. When I asked to have the liquid drained, it was brought back to me with almost as much oil and butter. I took the past out and put it on a separate plate. So disappointing:((

I went gluten free over the past summer, Ive been searching for a pizza to eat that is worth it. I tried 2 local chains and they were not even close to worth it especially for the price. Last night I decided to try Prosecco l. Im so glad I did!!! By far the best pizza Ive ever eatten let alone being gluten free. I chose the vegetarian; garlic sauce, mushrooms, eggplant. DELICIOUS! The size was decent too! Highly recommend!

I know this restaurant well and wholeheartedly recommend dropping in for a meal or a few drinks. Prosecco has an upscale atmosphere that feels refined without being stuffy. Service is consistently top notch and the food leaves nothing to be desired. Portions are large and presented well. The bar has a comprehensive wine list and a large beer and liquor selection. Definitely worth your time!

Well if you want to spend a lot of money for just okay Italian your at the right place. We had a party of four, it was 7pm, they apparently cater to the locals, a party of four came in after us and got their food and were done before our meal came. They say Jazz Bar it was a Saturday night no music, two Stella Beers $14, a glass of wine $10 why so high no music. We will not return.

Had to wait even with a reservation, but it was a weekend so its expected. The owner even bought us dessert to make up for it. The food was well worth the wait. The chicken parm was the biggest ive ever seen and it was very delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area like i was.

Terrible meal! I ordered the chicken parm with angel hair pasta and could not eat it. The chicken was very overcooked and the pasta was literally floating in sauce which was more like tomato soup then pasta. I have never written another review about any other restaurant but felt I needed to write about this one.

Absolutely, one of the tastiest meals I have had in years. I had one of the chiefs specials. A delightful fish dinner with an incredible hot, creamy sauce over linguine. Superb!...Our waiter was welcoming, fun and very knowledgeable. A long ride from Webster, but worth every mile. Thanks!!!!!!
