The pizza is decent but its super pricey. Its like you are paying for the right to eat pizza in San Ramon with the upper crust (pun intended) rather than for a good reason like huge portions or unbelievable taste nirvana. Every now and then I think that maybe we should go back and give it another chance but then I immediately follow that thought with four or five other thoughts involving pizza that is just as good or better without being pretentious. I just feel like being in there at any moment you would see secret service walking in because the senator wants a slice and he had to raise taxes in order to afford it.

Have been to both Ascona pizza places a number of times. The employees at the San Ramon site leave something to be desired. The latest visit turns out to be our last. When the Cesar salad was delivered, the server dropped the cheese garnish and didnt replace it. Then the pizza was undercooked where the crust was pure white in some places. Having worked in the pizza business during my high school and college years, I would have been ashamed if I had produced such a lousy product. I will be very surprised if the San Ramon location turns out to be successful in the long run.

Worst service, all of employees no responsibility at all...waiting pizza 30 minutes asked about pizza they said in oven but after 20 minutes didnt come asked again I found out they never made our pizza.

The only reason I stop by here is to pick up the individual size pizza, which is made to order. The 20-25 mins waiting time could grow painful, if you have nothing else to do there.

Depressing restaurant atmosphere and way overpriced pizza. The pizza crust is brick like. I cant believe I spent so much on one pizza and also had to go and pick it up.

This is our go-to pizza place when we feel like taking the kids out. The corn dog bites are awesome, the pizza is really good, and they have a great beer selection.

Great by the pie pizza and pasta joint with a lovely full bar and plentiful seating. We always order from here when we are in town. Highly recommended!
