Wow, I had an amazing visit. I live near the area but I havent tried it because the outside appearance looks small and unappealing. My friends and family have told me numerous times to try it out and so I did. The inside is very clean and the fish tank has HUGE beautiful Koi fish. The service was very friendly and quick. I ordered the low carb chicken and my boyfriend ordered the teriyaki chicken. I was surprised that there was a low carb option on the menu because other Japanese restaurants dont have this! The portion is great for the price and so is the quality. The food also comes with free soup and its awesome! Im definitely going to come here many times a week.

If I could rate zero I would. Food is cheap and there is a fair bit of it, but it is bland, tasteless and overcooked. If you call in for an order they are rude, short and talk over you and it takes a while to get your order. The last time we ordered we all ordered a sushi combo, a steak and chicken entree, chicken hibachi and a vegetable entree. We got the sushi combo and everything else was wrong. We got two steak dishes (one without carrots, despite nobody asking for no carrots) and a dish that was nothing but a heap of vegetables and chicken. They also didnt give us a receipt and so we couldnt fix it.

TERRIBLE customer service at the drive through with certain individuals. Smart aleck remarks and nasty comments after people order, where customers inside can hear. If they dont want to work there and are so unhappy taking orders, then maybe they should get different jobs. They only get away with it and retain business because its a small town with few restaurants, so theres no competition. Get orders wrong all the time too.

Food is good but not great at the price point, service is good. My rating is however for the sushi alone as I have not eaten any of their other foods. I have tried a good portion of the sushi menu. Ive been here around 4-5 times in the past year. Its fine for when I want sushi but dont want to drive far enough to get higher quality or better price. I hope this helps

I give this place a 3 star based only on the sushi I ordered. There is another sushi place that I go to that has set the quality bar for about the same price. I am a little disappointed with the sushi here though, it was small in size and the ingredients arent as fresh. The customer service was good though, our waitress was nice and our drinks were regularly filled.

Service is very friendly and helpful. They keep drinks refilled and check with you just enough to keep you happy. And, they didnt keep us waiting for the check! Even gave a go cup for our drinks, glad too!!! It was a hot day!!! Food is wonderful btw! Lol, this is a repeat visit for us. And, there will be more! ;-)

I ate here about a week ago with my family. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice! I got the soba chicken, my kids got the teriyaki chicken, and my wife got some sushi rolls. The price was good and they give you a lot of food! Will definitely be coming back soon!

Love this place! I love the kids chicken because it is a decent sized portion for the price. The chicken is so delicious and flavorful compared to the chicken at other japanese restaurants. Would definitely give this place a try.

I usually get their shrimp tempura roll and sometimes get the teriyaki chicken and it is amazing. I love having oskai right here in valdese. Has fast service and is great prices.
