My family and I have been loyal customers for the last year at the downtown location. Every week we all gather to have dinner either on Friday or Sunday at this establishment. The last three months the restaurant has gone downhill. One time I was eating sushi and choked on plastic. They chef never removed the plastic from around the crab and just made the sushi around it. I choked really bad .. It was scary. The manager made lite of it. She didnt know what to do. Her inexperience showed. Another time we waited 1/2 hour before a waitress came over to our table and then she laughed and she found it funny that we sat there the entire time and was not approached by staff. The time before last our food was burnt. Our last straw was tonights visit. We sat down and our waitress was uninterested and distracted .. She was only interested in the customers whom were drinking alcohol. We even had to wave down other waitresses to refill water and soda. Keep in mind 40 minutes and no food. Not even our salads. We finally spoke with the male manager. Again his lack of experience showed. I explained the situation and his answer was they were doing their best. He was arrogant and uninterested. No wonder his staff doesnt care. The time I choked on the plastic the waitress said that I should have made a big issue about it because the owners are horrible and dont care. I just let it go but tonight was my last visit. My entire family and our friends will not return. I will be happy to spend my hard earned money in a restaurant with owners who know what is happening with their staff.Beware when you eat there. Spend your money where you are treated right !!!

My sisters and I went for the Endless Blu Sushi lunch. The service was ridiculously slow with a very long wait time between orders. The food was just ok but it was presented well. There wasnt much of a variety to choose from and most of the rolls were made from cooked ingredients and way too many condiments. The volcano roll was bland and tasteless. When I ordered salmon nigiri my waitress looked confused and replied with "Uhhh...the salmon sushi?" So, dont expect anything authentic here. The salmon was ok but left an aftertaste. The tuna was a creepy washed out ham color with a rubber glove flavor. Not a keeper. We sent it back. The sushi rice was dried out and really, it was all amateurly prepared by kids. We did have fun trying everything and the atmosphere was entertaining but I certainly wouldnt return or recommend Blu to anyone looking for good sushi OR service. Even though our waitress was polite to us at our table, she could be heard loudly complaining more than once that she was "supposed to be off by now!" aka HURRY THE F UP! Skip this place and go to Siam Thai in North Fort Myers instead.

WORST SUSHI I HAVE EVER EATEN! My fiance and I waited quite a while to be greeted by anybody of the staff to be seated. After we were seated our waitress proceeded to tell us our menus were dirty and wiped them off with a dirty rag and returned them back to us. My menu was literally dirtier than it had been in the first place. We ordered 3 rolls of sushi all of which were heinous. The "tuna" they served looked like grape jelly as opposed to actual fish. After waiting more than 15 minutes for our waitress to return to at least refill our drinks to wash the nasty taste out of our mouths, i eventually just flagged her down for the bill. It is ashame because my fiance and I love sushi but overall this place is a sad american take on a non american food item. We will not return and our usual sushi spot over at Siam Thai on 41 (conveniently less than 10 minutes from this nightclub wannabe) will remain our go to spot. If you want authentic sushi go to Siam Thai and leave "blu" on the curb!

Me and my fiancé love sushi and loved blu sushi until the last 3 times we went our service was horrible !!! we had a foreign server that had an accent and barely came to our table for anything not even to get a re order of our Martinis, We saw are salads sitting at the sushi bar for I kid you not 10 mins before she brought them to us ! and this was around 9:00pm and it was dead inside. Another time we had the same waitress and she did not come to our table for about 15 mins after we sat, never came around for drink orders. Its sad cause the sushi is good but the service is horrible and we will not be attending back. When you are spending $120.00 on food service should be attentive.

Absolutely atrocious! My fiancé and I were ignored while we waited to be seated as the sign out front said. Then after being seated our waitress preceded to tell us the menus were dirty and barely wiped them with a rag. The sushi was of poor quality and I couldnt even finish as it made me start to feel ill. Then the waitress had to be flagged down and said she didnt realize we were done because we ordered a lot of food. We resorted to cheap drive through as that was more appealing. Definitely will not be returning.

It wasnt awful but it wasnt the best. I didnt expect imitation crab on my sushi roll. It listed it as "crab" and thats what I expected on top of my roll, not sliced imitation. I guess I expected real crab being so close to the ocean. The rolls seemed pricy for what we had and the all you can eat lunch is very limited. It was good but not the best Ive had. It is a lovely building and I enjoyed the time we spent there. I cant give this place anything less than a 4 because it was good just not what I expected.

Servers and managers very nice, our drinks were in front of us and our orders were taken within 3 minutes of sitting down. (March 1, 2017 c. 8:15 PM) It went down hill from there.... We sat at the sushi bar for 40 minutes and neither chef acknowledged our presence yet had plenty of time to yak it up with their buddies that kept running up to the bar to discuss social media and financing issues. Now wonder you have a credit score of 500.... Needless to say we never got our food.

To start off with, the lay out is absolutely stunning and you cant help but to want to go inside and check it out!! Not only did the presentation lure me in but once i began trying out all the different rolls and outrageous cocktails i knew this would my new sushi spot!!! Thee absolute best sushi Ive had on this coast!! I highly recommend coming and checking this place out. Perfect for an afternoon lunch or a nice night out on the town with the friends!!!

This sushi bar is very convenient being right in the middle of downtown ft. Myers but I am always a little underwhelmed. The pricing is very high for the quality and I have had some fantastic sushi that is not so very expensive. They have an all you can eat option but you have to choose from a much smaller menu for this so I usually just order 1-2 specialty rolls instead. The sushi is very good and very fresh but, in my opinion, a little too pricey.
