ROACHES! SERIOUSLY! NEVER HAD THAT HAPPEN IN MY LIFE!! 08/24/216 ACTUAL RECENT INSPECTION REPORT(partial information): Inspection results: Violation Observation 35A-03-4 Basic - Dead roaches on premises. Sushi bar, bar area 3 dead roaches. 2 under 3 compartment sink. **Warning** 13-03-4 Basic - Employee with no hair restraint while engaging in food preparation. **Warning** 41-05-4 High Priority - Pesticide/insecticide labeled for household use only present in establishment. 2 cans of Raid ant and roach insect spray. Beverage area. **Warning** 08A-09-4 High Priority - Raw animal food stored over ready-to-eat food in walk-in cooler. Shrimp over cut watermelon. **Corrected On-Site** **Warning** 35A-05-4 High Priority - Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. 1 live roach under co2 tank.bar area. 6 inside the cabinet under the hand sink near entrance into the kitchen. **Warning** Myself, my daughter and a close friend of mine decided to eat lunch on Saturday afternoon, 08/20/2016. We were the second group to arrive. There was only 1 other couple that was seated prior to us, as the location closes and reopens at 4:30 for dinner. We arrived at about 4:40. Once we were seated at the hibachi station another couple joined us at the table and we placed our orders. Once the chief began cooking and serving, we started eating/tasting as he continued his show. The chief was GREAT and the food was delicious! I believe he was one of the best chiefs Ive ever had at any hibachi grill (His name was AD btw) The chief was cooking the meats for our dinner, which were the last things remaining to be cooked, when my daughter screamed there was a ROACH by her plate. I immediately picked up our plates to prevent the roach from crawling onto them. It ran across the full length of the table before the cook was able to mash it with a cloth. He then continued with the show as if nothing happened. Since we had been eating already and watched the food being prepared, we continued our meal but with much more caution. I took a few more bites and pulled a HAIR out of my food. Needless to say we were threw with our meal at this point. We informed the owner in which he apologized and offered us 15% compensation for the trouble. Which equated to $3. Which means he basically paid for the tip for the waitress. And then they over charged me for my daughters meal. However, where theres 1 ROACH there can be more . Also, as far as the HAIR was concerned, It was long and light brown in color. Much darker and thinner than my own, my daughter or my friends that was seated around me. The only reason for the one star is because its required and the Chief was amazing. Too bad he works in this establishment, since I WILL NOT be going back, and will no longer have the pleasure.

In one word: HORRIBLE! A friend chose this place to celebrate a special occasion, so I hoped to have a good experience, since she had been there several times before. The service was painfully slow (a good 30 minutes just to take our order), some in our party did not have silverware, one of my friends never got the high chair she requested multiple times for her infant, and they misplaced her credit card later on. The food was brought out in spurts of about 10-15 minutes apart and one of my friend’s food was never brought out. They brought a plate they thought was hers, however it did not belong to anyone in our party, so they took the plate & set it on the counter. After about 15 minutes, that same plate was brought over by a man and she told him it was not hers and AGAIN repeated her correct order. He kept insisting for her to take that plate after multiple times of her refusing the food. He kept repeating, “It’s OK, it’s OK” and after back and forth of her refusal said “just take it” and he put the plate in front of her. The food was cold at this point so she barely touched it. I had to request my check twice and it took about 20 minutes for them to finally bring it- and it wasnt for the correct meal. Regarding my friend who never got her food…her check was for the meal she never got. She disputed the charge with the waitress, who then went to the man whod given my friend the plate of cold food, trying to figure out a solution—at least another 15 or 20 minutes passed in trying to figure this out and we were all extremely upset and more than ready to leave. My friend approached the man in attempts to pay for her drink and leave and he ended up yelling at her and telling her he would comp the meal this time but never wanted to see her face there again! We asked another waitress who this man was—turns out he was THE OWNER!!! What a despicable way to treat your patrons and run a business (if you want to call it that)—he was the rudest, most unprofessional person there. It’s no wonder that their parking lot area is always empty! I have been to numerous restaurants and have NEVER had such terrible experience as this establishment.

Before my visit tonight I would have rated much higher. But tonight the unprofessionalism of the waitress and the owner was appalling. I would eat here quite often ( 5-6 monthly visits ) to the tune of over $125.00 per month plus tips. On this visit as in the past I would ask for zucchini only (not eating the broccoli, onions, mushrooms, carrots ) waitress saying thats $1.00 extra. I replied, Im not asking for extra zucchini only to leave off the other vegetables. She replied thats still an up charge of a dollar, I then said the owner has never charged extra. She went to the owner and he comes back to the table ( in front of 6 other guests at the table ) and proceeds to show me his receipt from his suppliers that zucchini is costing him more. I said Im not asking for extra or more than the normal amount of zucchini, just leave the other veggies out. Long story short his unprofessionalism and rudeness in front of other table guest was uncalled for. I assure you the dollar was not the issue, the principle and his not listening that I wanted no extra zucchini but leave out the rest of the veggies. Its sad that his unreasonable attitude has cost him a good customer from eating at his establishment most likely ever again.

Attempted to go here on a Thursday night to celebrate a friends birthday. We were sat @ 7:10 PM. There was 1 waitress and 1 cook on duty, and only 2 other tables. We received our drinks in a timely fashion. However, the waitress NEVER came back. We ordered sushi rolls and soup and salad that should have been delivered before our entrees. At 8:05 PM we still had no sushi rolls, no salad and no soup. The waitress offered no explanation. The table beside us said "good luck" as they were leaving. We left @ 8:10 PM. I would suggest NEVER going to this restaurant, unless you have 2-3 hours to kill and you are not hungry.

I got the hibachi chicken and salmon. The fish was fresh, and everything had great flavor. I liked that they served soup, salad, fried rice, vegetables, and noodles with the hibachi. Large portions were served. Great value! The flavor of the seafood sauce was a little weak. Overall the food was great!!! At times I questioned whether the servers could clearly understand me, however the service was good. It appeared to be a little understaffed while I was there (arrived at 6pm on a Wednesday).
