I just went to eat there. My boyfriend and I been there a few times. The service was great. The food is good. But today after a very rough day at work went there to eat (I was starving) and I always get veggie enchiladas. I took my own cheese and sour cream (soy base) since Im dont consume dairy. I have done it before and never got a problem with it at any restaurant including this one. And the (what I believe is the manager) came over to our table to ask me what did I put in my food. And I explain to him he said that the smell was very bad, that its smell like someone go bathroom in the dining roon and smell all over the restaurant, that the people was complaining about it. I didnt really saw anyone complaining but I just smile and ask for to go boxes. I was in tears b/c I already had a bad day. And this guy could be a lil more polite to me and adress the issue some other way than comparing MY FOOD to bathroom smells and making faces. Making me feel embarrassed and horrible. I definitely will not come again. Thanks for the awful experience.

Out of the americanized mexican restaurants around here, this one stands out. We had great chips, salsa, food, desert, and service. We tried the wings (as a wing eater i love to try them everywhere) They were quite good, with the seasoning in the extremely light batter made them very crispy and savory. The queso was quite good but nothing to fuss over. The fajitas for two was a monster pile of meats and shrimp, and did not disappoint. We also tried the Fried Ice cream, and found it was made correctly. Im always stunned when other places try to pass off a scoop of ice cream rolled in corn flakes. El Corral served a freshly fried softball of ice cream in its proper corn mixture, under a pile of whipped cream, honey, and chocolate drizzles. 3 cherries topped it off. Be prepared to have to share it. We will go back soon, I can see this place becoming a standard choice for our mexican food cravings. Very clean (100.00 sanitation)

Service was terrible! We went to El Corral on Friday night with my niece and nephew. All they wanted was chips with cheese. There wasnt one on the childs menu so we ordered the Adult nachos with cheese. The order came and there were only 17 chips on the plate with a little bit of cheese. I asked the waiter about it and he just said this is what you ordered. So we asked another waiter who came by and he went and asked his manager. He came back and said that was a regular order. My husband and I both tried to tell them that for that amount of money this was not right. They just shrugged their shoulders and walked away. My husband told them we would not be back. When he went to pay the bill and manager asked us how was our meal and my husband said not well. She just ignored him and didn’t say another word. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone!

For traditional Mexican, or as Ive heard it called, a la familia, this is the place. While others have multiple bland locations throughout the Triangle, this one quietly serves some amazing food. Their carnitas are incredible, succulent, chunks of pork, tender with crispy edges, served with a mouth-watering tomatillo sauce and crema. So good. And awesome pico de gallo with chunks of avocado. This place is worth seeking out.

We always enjoy the food and service. But the menu on Web needs to be updated apparently. Last visit I asked waitress about the ribs and she said.."not here". I asked about rib combination advertised, showed it to her on my phone. She had no idea of what I was talking about. Other than that you should enjoy your dining here. Friendly staff.. attentive.

Food was clearly reheated, bland and greasy. Plus for some reason everything on the menu is $3-4 more expensive than at similar places. For the $11 my simple plate of enchiladas cost before tax/tip could have gotten a FAR better meal pretty much anywhere else!

Nice place overall. Friendly staff, great food and fast service. I will say that prices for tea/soda are a bit high and beware if you want grilled chicken quesadillas as opposed to shredded chicken with the $8.99 combo. Youll be charged $3 extra.

This is our favorite Mexican food in North Durham. However, its pretty expensive for basically rice, beans, tortillas, and meat. I spent over $40 for one meal and three kids meals. Other than that, its awesome!

This is my "go-to" place for Mexican food. The burros a la roqueta are to DIE for!!! Also, if you shop at Harris Teeter on Guess Rd, there is sometimes a coupon for $4 or $6 off (on the back of your receipt).

Ordered take out on evening on 10/23/14. The food had wafts of dishwashing detergent - like someone didnt rise the utensils or pots sufficiently. The bite sof food no contaminated by a soapy taste were fine.

Excellent and authentic Mexican food. One of the best Mexican food restaurants, in fact, in the RDU area. Better than many of the more hyped places around town. Reasonable price, too!

A long-standing go-to lunch place for my wife and I. Food is quickly prepared, and always delicious. I particularly enjoy the shredded chicken chimichangas.

Chicken Chimi take out order, excellent meal enough for two. Hostess and cashier were friendly and food was ready when I arrived. Will recommend to friends.

Very personal. The waiter, Darwin, was very attentive, the glasses came chilled, the meat was fresh, never frozen, and the manager even came by to say hi!

Really mediocre American-ized. Queso on everything, lower quality than a chi-chis... Among the worst Mexican in the Triange....
