A small piece of the very best of a true Mexican gastronomic experience located in Buffalo. This is where you go when you really want to enjoy high end, top quality Mexican food at a very reasonable price. Portions are on the small side and recommended to be shared. Highly recommend the Poblano chicken, the mushroom flat and the guacamole with a very peculiar twist and the chocolate dessert which is absolutely to die for. Do not come here expecting Cheesecake Factory type/size dishes. The chef who also owns the place has many years of experience at different locations including several years at a 2 star Michelin restaurant in Montreal. Enjoy the experience, take your time, and breath a little. They are still waiting for their alcohol permit but this should not be the reason to hold you back from this wonderful place.

Wow, not getting the raves on Facebook. Four of us dined there Saturday evening and all were disappointed AND left hungry. Didnt think it possible to leave a Mexican restaurant hungry. I can onl;y assume the "French" aspect of the restaurant is due to the extremely tiny meal portions at French prices. We ordered the black bean soup, it was luke warm at best, as was the raemen (Mexican?) I ordered the braised short ribs with grits.....the grits were actually cold. All decided we wouldnt return. Location, location, location..............Not. Not easy to get to if unfamiliar with area. The one star is for the exceptional waiting service.

Las Puertas is were you go to have a unique and one of a kind experience. The entree choices and atmosphere are wonderful. However, what made the experience unique was that the servers were actually the chefs as well. Each entree is hand delivered by one of the chefs and explained in detail. This was a first for me, I loved the concept. I would definitely go back. Delicious food, great service, unique experience.

This was, quite simply, the best meal Ive ever had in Buffalo, and one of the best of my life. Everything is prepared with extraordinary care and creativity, each dish conceived anew with an amazing array of flavor notes. We tried many of the dishes (chicken, octopus, raman, salad...) and each was its own planet of fabulous flavor. Not to be missed!!!

A unique dinner experience. Recently there with a group and ordered the tasting menu. Very high quality, delicious and attentive service from the Chef himself. One star off for no liquor! Price point is high and there is really nothing to compare it to in WNY.
