I tried this place for first time this past week, and it was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. I ordered a combo dish that included an enchilada, a chile relleno, and a beef taco. The chile relleno was not a chile pepper at all - it was a green bell pepper! They stuffed it with ground beef and a little shredded cheddar cheese. (????) The bell pepper was not even cooked and was crunchy instead of the tender, cheese stuffed poblano pepper I was expecting. Dont let this poor imitation fool you - it is a lazy approach to what should have been a tasty dish. The beef taco was served in a crisp corn taco shell like you buy in package of 12 at Food Lion. Sorry, I can make that at home or get it at Taco Bell - a sit-down restaurant should be making its own taco tortillas. And when I order a beef taco costing me more than $2, I expect it to have shredded beef, NOT ground beef that isnt even seasoned. Additionally, I ordered a side of guacomole which was a poor excuse for what was once an avocado. I would be embarassed to be of Mexican decent and work at this restaurant. The place was clean and service was good, but do not waste your time or money when there are many other great Mexican food places in the Raleigh area.

I expected much more. I ordered the Al pastor but was told they dont have that. I asked why since its clearly on the menu, she said it doesnt sell. Well ok then....perhaps on the menu they should cover it up. I wish Id just left because the experience got worse. I ordered the fish taco dinner which consisted of 3 extremely bland fish tacos with NOTHING but a piece of fish and shredded lettuce that is not unlike what comes on a Big Mac. The was no sauce, sour crean, diced tomatoes, nothing. The best part of the dinner was the cold refried beans and I dont even like refried beans. Meal came to $11.00. My waitress was also the cashier. I gave her 15.00 and told her to keep the change. I wont be returning.

Ack! Just ate at El Dorado for the 1st and LAST time tonight. I had steak tacos ($9.00). They were small strips of unseasoned steak with onion and cilantro. I dont add things to my dishes at restaurants but had to add cheese dip (which arrived cool and fairly flavorless) and salsa and then I had to add salt just so it didnt seem like I was eating cardboard! My husband had a chicken and a beef burrito which he said was "just okay, I guess". He is not one to really care what food tastes like but for him to say hed never eat there again, thats saying something. What a waste of time and money. La Rancherita by Crabtree is equally priced but definitely better from a taste and quality perspective.

Me and my boyfriend eat at El Dorado every week. We always bring a friend because this place is awesome! They have good food, fast service, and a friendly family atmosphere. Our favorite waiter is "Turkey" because he is very attentive and super fast. We never have to wait for his service. Hes always on top of drinks, chips, and everything else before we even think to ask. I always get my favorites, the beef steak ranchero and a margarita, which is made good and strong. On cinco de mayo, the manager even gave us a life sized cutout of the Dos Equis Man!!! It is now a cool addition to our living room!

Went there for a take out. Ordered a bean and cheese burrito and chips and salsa. Cost 6 bucks. But here is the thing. The burrito was the size of a single enchilada. The taste was like all ingredients were canned. The chips were burnt and cold. The salsa was ok. I love Mexican food. But honestly, for the money I spent they couldnt even fill a whole tortilla with refried beans. Lol. Sad really. As I was excited about finding them. What a let down. Staff was nice.

Our weekly place (at least once a week if Im being honest)! Everything here is always excellent. Ive never had a bad experience, and seating is usually available or a very short wait. Food is priced well, plentiful and delicious. For $12 (current price) you can get chicken or beef fajitas for two that can feed two AND have enough leftover for lunch the next day. We recommed to all our friends and cant get enough of it ourselves.

My office often goes en masse to Eldorado for lunch, about 40 people, and they manage to handle us pretty well, the food is prepared quickly and the service is good. I like their menu offerings and their food, so much so that I even go there personally, not just for office lunches. I love snacking on their cheese dip while waiting for my entree, which is often fajitas - theirs are the best fajitas Ive found in this area.

Awful! I went with my son for lunch, going on some decent Yelp reviews and this place is anything BUT authentic! I ordered stuffed Chile relleno with Taco. It was a stuffed bell pepper and bland taco. Queso was a tiny, watered down soupy, bowl of sauce. And $8 for 2 small beef burritos with a cheesy sauce and nothing else. It was not crowded for lunch and food still took too long to serve. Never again!

The food and decor. Always good. We not eat there much. The service is not good. Though somedays are better than others. Some employees do what they want to . And service is serving food that know we not order. And not want to write down the order. If not spend a lot of money. Not get good service. The menu is good. and prices. And not expensive. It is worth to go back.

El Dorado on Creedmoor is our favorite place for Mexican food. The food is good, fast and inexpensive. We love the cheese enchiladas, chicken soft tacos, beef tacos and chicken taco salad. The salsa is amazing and theyll let you have as musch as you want. Not to mention their queso dip is the best. The only way it could be better is if they had outdoor dining.

This is a pretty solid Mexican restaurant. The prices are super low. The salsa is good, one of us had fajitas that were also very good and I had the chorizo tacos and they were really good for a low cost Mexican place. Also, our server was super nice and efficient. They even played guitar and sang for my sons birthday.

It was a horrible experience, first of all the time they took to bring us the food, it was about an hour the service was not good at all, the taste of the food was beyond horrible never come back to that place in my life and of course I will not recommend this place to none of my friends I give cero start

The food and prices are actually decent, the waitress I had was terrible. Barely spoke English, messed up my order, and still charged extra for messing it up. My to go order wasnt right for my husband, they gave me chicken nachos instead of beef. I dont think Id recommend this place to anyone.

Ive been coming here as long as I can remember. The food is great, but the service has become absolutely awful over the last few years. The wait staff is always at the bar watching TV and eating or drinking and to go orders typically take about 3 times longer than they tell you over the phone.
