After eating here last night Ive realized there are way too many food choices out there for me to return anytime soon. The service was absolutely horrible!!! To begin with the waitress forgot our drink order until we run her down to remind her, then gave our appetizers to another table and didnt even know it until we complained of the apps taking so long! She then forgot part of our antree (until again, after we questioned it!!!). After ordering a beer before dinner, I asked for a glass of tea w/ my meal...I was charged for it after paying for the $3 beer, which by the way tea is $1.95 but after paying that you get all the refills you want. Also, the Toro was on special (on the chalk board) but when I got the bill she charged me full price. After pointing out this discepency, she ARGUED with me and insisted the "lower price" was for another item on the board!! Simply fed up w/ the whole evening, I just paid the bill so I could leave but on my way out asked the owner/manager was the price indeed correct on the board. He stated it was and after Id told him about how I was treated (and paid the full price) his solution was to give me back $2 (THAT"S RIGHT>>TWO DOLLARS) on a gift card which by the way was the difference in the sale price and full price on the Toro!!! So no help from upper management here....In short DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME on this restaurant, try Red Bowl in Tega Cay, Nikko in downtown Charlotte, or Sasaki in Lake Wylie. All are much more professional, customer friendly, better quality restaurants!!!!!!!

I have been coming to this place for years and I love the food I love the location and the experience, but there is one woman I think the owner who is just awful with customer service. We came here last night and had a party of 6. She let us know when everyone in our party arrives she will seat us. Shortly everyone in our party arrives, and she tells us okay just 5 mins. We waited about 15-20 mins to be seated. Never smiled. Never polite. Just very short. And very non concerned. We get this from her every time we go. But after a great meal and great service from the service, we go to pay our meals with split checks and the server returns and asks if we can pay cash because their card reader is not working. The waitress had given us back our cards but here comes the owner who had come to take our cards back and asked us "Do you need to leave? Can you just wait 10 minutes so we can try again?" Never apologized. We waited another 20 and someone at our table ended paying for everyones bill in cash. Each check received a 10 dollar coupon that expires in 10 days! I already have ten more of the same coupons. Its something different every time but the main thing that never changes is the attitude of the rude, narcisstic, unprofessional and greedy owner.

ONE OF THE WORST PLACE TO VISIT , I REQUEST NOT TO VISIT THAT PLACE . THE MANAGER "MAGGI " IS ONE OF THE WORST MANAGER I HAVE SEEN , CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY POOR , VERY RUDE , VERY EGOISTIC . TRY TO CHARGE YOU MORE. WE ARE THERE FOR LUNCH THIS SUNDAY , WE ARE THERE BEFORE 2.30 PM AND WE ASK FOR TABLE THEY TOOK 10 MIN TO SET THE TABLE AND THEN TAKE AN ORDER FOR DRINKS ETC. WHEN IT COMES TO TAKE A ORDER FOR LUNCH , THEY SAID THEY STOP SERVERING LUNCH AFTER 2.30 PM AND SO WE NEED TO ODER THE DINNER WHICH IS DOUBLE THE PRIZE OF LUNCH. i SAID ITS NOT WE CAME LATE YOU GUYS FIX LATE AND ALSO WHEN WE ARE IN BEFORE 2.30 PM THEY HAV ETO GIVE US A LUCH INSTEAD OF FOUCEING US TO ORDER DINNER AT 2.35 PM. MANAGER IS ONE OF THE WORST MANAGER I HAVE SEEN , VERY BAD HER NAME IS MAGGI , I DONT WEATHER SHE TOLD ME HER RIGHT NAM EALSO. PLEASE DONT GO THERE IS ONE OF THE WORST PLACE TO VISIT.

Tried Fuji out over the weekend. The service and the food were sub-par to average. Started with the shrimp tempura. After sitting on the sushi bar for 10 minutes, it was finally brought to me by my waiter. Had a lot of ingredients in it that I was not expecting and were not listed on the menu. (Not an avacado fan). The size of the roll was ridiculous! To large to eat in one bite, and it would not fit in the soy sauce tray. For the entree I had the steak and chicken hibachi combo. The chicken was very dry and like the steak didnt have much flavor. For the price they charge, I expected much better quality in respect to the food. The waiter kept rushing me to leave, asking if I needed a box or if I was finished every 5 minutes. Its a nice place and is clean, but the experience as a whole leaves much to be desired.

POOR-FAIR IS BEING NICE FOR THIS ESTABLISHMENT. MANAGEMENT IS VERY RUDE, ESPECIALLY TO AMERICANS. THEY MESSED UP MY TAKEOUT ORDER AND THOUGHT I DIDNT KNOW WHAT I WAS SPEAKING ABOUT UNTIL I WALKED IN AND THE OWNER/MANAGER REALIZED THAT I WAS ASIAN... YET AND STILL, THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES AND HAVE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ... I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW THEY ARE STILL OPEN AT THIS TIME??? MY GUESS IS, THEY WILL BE CLOSED SOON ENOUGH... ESPECIALLY IF THEY DONT CARE ENOUGH TO MAKE THEIR FOOD TASTY AND PRESENTABLE FOR THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS. THERE IS NO NEED TO GO HERE... THE BEST THING TO DO IS GO TO KABUTOS OR NAKATOS ON PINEVILLE-MATTHEWS RD. ITLL BE WORTH THE DRIVE AND THE MONEY.

normally we have a great time here. this one occasion we ate at the tables and not the grill. our sushi was awful. water had a funny taste, but all of that wasnt enough. when our food came out she told us be careful it was hot, it was far from luke warm. If i has biten into a live cow it would have been hotter. At $22 for steak and shrimp and it wasnt even hot. I was livid! I told the waitress and she said oh I give you coupon. I did not want a coupon to a place I would not be dinning at again. She comes back and says ok %10. At this point I am just ready to walk out of there. the %10 wasnt even a full $3 NEVER EVER. I WILL DRIVE THE EXTRA 8 MILES AND GO TO NAKATOS WHERE I KNOW IT WILL BE GOOD, FRESH AND HOT LIKE ITS SUPPOSED TO BE!

Absolutely one of the WORST dining experiences Ive ever had; not sure how this place stays in business, but I suspect it is because of the Habachi and sushi menu. Eating at a normal "dinner" table, you will be wholly disappointed. My first stab of chicken teriyani was luke warm, and wholly unappetizing...the plate looked a little dirty too. I rejected the meal and sent it back and ordered the salmon "habachi", which was, at least, hot, but again, unappetizing presentation, and the plate looked a little dirty. I give them credit for allowing me to send back the first plate, but after the second stab, all I could think was "I paid $35 for that?!" I wont be back to this place...CAPT D. S. Gamboa, USN
