Not sure what the big hype is about. I ordered 2 shrimp tempura rolls; they were cold, the avocado was super brown, I constantly had to pick out shrimp peels from my mouth, the meal was served on a broken plate. When I brought up that last issue to the waiter he said it was fine, that he has noticed the plate being broken when he brought it over... Um not fine, I had to sit my toddler on my lap and hold him because the booster seat didnt have a strap so yes the broken plate is MAJOR safety hazard!! Before being done with the soup he just grabbed the plate and said let me get this out of your way... A for effort but you should ask the if the customer is done with the food first. I also think the food is overpriced. The fried rice was amazing.

Hokkaido has awful service, bad hibachi, and great sushi. We waited 10 minutes after walking in to be greeted. Our hibachi chef didnt do many of the tricks/interactions that the other tables chefs did, and the food he served was far too salty and buttery. I spent much of the meal thirsty with the waitress nowhere to be found. I then waited another 10 minutes after the rest of our table had paid (with my credit card still sitting on the table) before having to get up and find someone to pay.

This is one of my favorite spots. the fried rice is insanely good and the sushi is delicious and the cheapest around! where else can you get a fancy sushi roll for $10? The service is very much lacking tho. We always have to wait a long time for them to come to the table initially and then again when we are ready for the check. but the food does come out quickly once we get to place our order. you just have to go in expecting that but it is worth the wait!!

Amazing experience. Used to work in a Japanese steakhouse so I really know how to judge these hibachi restaurants. The soup and salad was fresh, the chef entertaining, and the food delicious. The service was also fantastic, our drink glasses were never near empty. Overall a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone who lives in the area or is visiting and wants a relaxing but exciting meal after a long day at the beach/on the water.

Had reservations and got there early. Walked right in with no wait. The place was empty at first which worried me a little. Service was nothing spectacular, but the food was great. The grill chef was very interactive, entertaining, and good at what he does. Not too much variation from any other hibachi grill Ive been too but there was plenty of great food to go around. I recommend it and will be going back.

Great Food, Great Service and Show. I am not familiar with this town, but I love Hibachi Grills. So, I seen the reviews and they were good. Also, its my husband birthday, they did great even though they were slow. It was Monday though, and they still have excellent service. They brought out some ice cream with a candle for my husbands birthday which was great. Will be visiting again!

Maybe because its in Florida, but this sushi is tasteless. Not fresh either, and definitely not well priced for the quality of the food. Im use to better sushi but of all that Ive had in Florida, this sushi has to be the least tasty. If you want better sushi, go to Orlando or the sushi next to the Clermont movie theatre.

The lunch combos are perfect - I love getting a fancy roll, a sushi assortment, and a big plate of pad thai made to my specification for around fifteen bucks. Ive had a really hard time finding decent food in Florida, but I think this place could shine in the notoriously vicious restaurant environment of Houston.

Food/soup absolutely amazing, great portions, and affordable. Tokyo restaurant in Cape Canaveral has been my go to place for 20yrs. I do not recommend the salad or the sushi though. Staff are very nice and personalable. They actually remembered us on our second visit. I Recommend you give it a try yourself!

My boyfriend and I was so excited to try this place and then when we got there no one was at the counter. Took us 5 minutes just to get seated and then we waited 20 minutes for service and no one came. We left and are now going to another place in melbourne. Worst service ever!

Let me start by saying that I have been to both the red dragon in cocoa beach and the japenese steak house in Melbourne and nether are as good as here not to mention there prices are great for dinner and lunch. Love it here would recommend highly.

It has class A service and really cares about its customers. The chefs know how to throw a good show and create great food. The building itself looks modern and is very clean. There is also a normal dinner in the front with serves food normally.

Food was good dont get me wrong, but no appetizer and spaghetti instead of bean sprouts not my style. Add more zucchini, onion and mushrooms. Take away the spaghetti and replace with bean sprouts Ill be back. Meat was excellent so was the chef

Im so glad to find a good Japanese restaurant close by so I dont have to keep driving to Orlando! Didnt do the Hibachi yet, but ordered the tempura and sashimi lunches. The food is fantastic, great service and prices too.

It was really neat watching the cook prepare the food in front of us he was very friendly and did a little show. The portions were you Mungus we did a shared plate and I still had leftovers to bring home. Worth the price.

From the outside it does not look like much but inside it is really nice and more importantly the food is great! The bento box and gyoza dumplings were the best in the area. Highly recommend.

Hokkaido Japanese Steakhouse is a great place to have dinner. They can accommodate large parties. Watching the chief cook right in front of you is so much fun. Those guys are so talented.

Very disappointing sushi and the hibachi was worse. Fish is definitely frozen, and I think the cook actually removed flavor from ingredients. Too bad I cant give fewer stars.

8 of us went after work. We were seated right away, service was right on top of things, the guy on the grill was entertaining and the food was good. What more can I say?
