I called in order...15 min ....ok. went to get it and it must be good food cause they was backed up with orders...paid for food ...got home ...food tasted great ...my only fuss is the egg rolls a little on the greasy side ...needed drained a little more ....but what can u expect its a fried food...every thing else was awesome even alot of shrimp in the shrimp fried rice ...thats a plus bonus....I believe this is my new Chinese place to go....

My wife and I live extremely close, walking distance to Hunan K. So it is awesome being able to walk and get Chinese takeout. Weve never been disappointed by the food. The sesame chicken is fantastic, it is something we usually get. Great portions. Decor is nothing spectacular, in fact it is pretty bland. But that really is okay because the staff is great and the food is so enjoyable. Definitely one of our favorite places to get dinner from.

Moving to SC from NY I never thought that CHINESE food would be different - but it is. After trying several Chinese places closer to my home, I stumbled upon Hunan K one day - and that is where I go from now on. Its a bit out of the way for me, but I dont mind - the food is always great. Never any complaints - been going there 3 years now... 4/19/11. :-)

It is very rare to find a non-buffet Chinese restaurant with a fountain machine, so I choose to eat in. Their prices are comparable to my local Chinese restaurant, in Aiken, SC, and, of course, the portions are big, since it is NOT a greedy corporate owned chain. The staff is VERY friendly and they speak good English. This place is tops.

I ordered an hour before closing on sat night. Food was cooked fresh, exceptional service, fair price, and surprisingly short waiting time. The food wouldnt win any prizes, but its a good option if you want reasonably priced takeout, fast, with good service.

Food is excellent. Thought when we moved here from Michigan we wouldnt find a place we liked. We had tried a couple of other places before trying hunan K. Im so grateful we found this place. Best egg rolls and food is very flavorful and the people are helpful

When it comes to Chinese takeout in the area, you cant beat Hunan K. I am always welcomed with smiles and kindness. I love the flavors and you cant beat it for the price! Overall it is pretty typical American Chinese, but its the best I have found :)

The food here is great. The staff is friendly and their service is good. The interior could use an upgrade and the bathrooms arent clean. But I come here for the food. 5 stars when the restrooms are clean.

Food and service go beyond excellent. Yes the interior could use a makeover and the pigs who destroy the restrooms should be banished. I cannot blame the staff/management for the abuse of others.

Hunan K has great Chinese food fixed fresh as you wait. There are tables there, though atmosphere is not what the place is all about. Take out or eat there, the food is great!
