We LOVE Mojo Kitchen and Lounge! We eat here every Friday night, and it is the perfect way to end a long work week. The staff is always helpful and the FOOD is ON POINT! I have eaten most everything on the menu and never had a bad meal. They are innovative with the taco specials, there are vegetarian options and if you are a meat eater you will be hooked up! I love the Sugaree sandwich, all the Mac and Cheeses, tacos, the starters... I could go on and on, but I will just say, if you have not tried out this local treasure you are missing out on one of Ashevilles gems!

The chef at this place has a mix on flavors with the good on your plate that is unbelievable,. Myself and my work family went there for lunch and was blown away by the combination flavors and textures of his one of a kind style. No place in town tops mojos I promise you. The half sandwich (sweetenie)& loaded potato soup had me at hello, a sweet,spicy sandwich with sprouts, omg and that soup was for tha soul... Get ready for a religious experience on your plate that is unbelievable, God bless & p.s. Tellm Cracrjac and tha boyyz from the A.C.Hotel sent ya!!!

BRUNCH IS SO GOOD! Im working my way through the brunch menu, and I havent been disappointed yet! Last time I got the chicken and waffle sandwich- so good! They have the best tempeh in town (that Ive tried). Plus, they have live bluegrass at brunch, and toys for kids, and its not usually overcrowded. They even have a BYO bloody mary bar. Also, they usually serve food later than most other places at night and their lunch/dinner menu is whats up too.

Excellent food with an extensive menu and unique options for everyone. Their Mojo Mac and Cheese is perhaps the best Ive ever had. Jerk Chicken and Waffles are outstanding. Wings are phenomenal. I would frequent Mojo and try the entire menu if I were still local. Parking couldnt be easier - available directly across the street at the Rankin Ave garage. Absolute must stop in Asheville.

It had the absolute worst chicken and waffles Ive ever eaten. Nothing about that was good. It was a jerk chicken and waffles with BBQ sauce. The sauce was not spicy just heavy and overly tangy. You couldnt taste the chicken or waffle over that horrible sauce. They had good live music playing but too many drunks to contend with. Not my kind of spot.

This local dive is a little scary on your first try, but if you hold your breath and sneak by the smokers out front (only a problem in the evenings), the culinary rewards are numerous. Honest to God, the best burger and fish tacos Ive ever had! And I mean at any price. Even beats the legiondary Rankin Vault burger across the street in my opinion.

Delicious, award-winning cuisine in a funky downtown diner that is favored by locals who know where to go for good food. Now open for breakfast! Go for the tacos and burgers and stick around for evening live music and special events at the One Stop located in the back.

Its very divey. We went for the Bluegrass Brunch, but didnt realize the band plays outside. If you go there for that, you cant really hear them. There is a stage inside that they must use depending on weather. I had the Monte Cristo and it was very good.

My favorite place to eat in Asheville, especially at 1-2 in the morning. The jerk chicken and waffles are simply spectacular, and the street tacos are the best Ive ever had. Live music or concert streams are also common!

Had "The Burg" and it was ok. Not bad, but somewhat on the bland side -- either they forgot the dressing, or there wasnt enough of it. The fries were very small and overcooked. Staff was friendly and the prices were ok.

Bluegrass Brunch?!?! Hell yeah. Unky atmosphere with good Ashevillized food at a great price........took a bit long for the food to arrive but the band was on to take the pain of the wait away. We will be back
