Co-worker and I would order there and have lunch delivered every week. The food was normally very good. The last two weeks or so the food did not seem fresh. Last Thurs 3/4/2015 the food did not taste fresh at all. The sesame chicken was so hard it had to be thrown away.. Today when we called 3/13/2015 it was mention to the person that answered the phone that to please make the food fresh as the last couple of times it was not..Well thats when all hell broke loose; instead of listening to what the customer was trying to say. Whoever answered the phone (sure it was the owner or part owner) as I cant believe a worker would be this rude went off and how far we were from them which I stopped him and advised him I didnt say the food was not hot I said it wasnt fresh (maybe he didnt understand English too well), I continue with the order and one of the orders they wanted "extra spicy" I told him extra spicy and then he says I should have mention that at the beginning of the order as he had notated "extra spicy" on the can of Pepsi..ok..moving on he then gave me the price for each lunch I asked him for the total (as thats what the pleasant guy that spoke English always did) he then states $7 for each lunch and total $21 for the 3 lunch special. Then very rudely he states to please give the guy a tip as thats all he works for. I very angrily told him we always gave a tip I have the exact change for the lunch and then hand the guy the difference for the tip. He says no its notated. I say yes we do tip all the time. I disconnected the call and of course lunch never showed up which I was glad as I would be afraid to eat it now anyway. We ordered from another restaurant where we will be ordering from all the time. I understand 3-4 lunch specials are not a lot of money but what he doesnt realize a message will be going out to the company I work for not to ever order from them again.

I eat here regularly I enjoy their food there sushi is amazing. I have a few issues. Once I walked in to pick up a order and they were chopping edamame (not sure if that is spelled correctly) on a dining room table in plain view of guest with nothing but the bare table under it they were eating right next to their process no one was wearing gloves and they were going back and forth to the phone/computer without washing their hands. I had stomach issues a few times and realized that the times I was sick I had ordered General Tsos chicken with lo mein noodles on all occasions. During the lunch special its supposed to come with a drink but unless you specifically ask for the drink and state that it comes with one they will try and not include it. I will say delivery is super fast for any reastutaunt. The other day I ordered through a food delivery service and paid via Android pay and tipped with my card on the service the delivery driver gets to the door and tries to tell me I didnt pay did not have a reciept and then literally asked me for a tip and when I told the driver that I tipped you 10$ on my 30$ order (I worth as a bartender so I always tip well) he proceeded to tell me that I didnt and my order would be considered not paid unless I tipped him. Im sorry but being in the service industry you NEVER ask for a tip either you get it or you dont. I felt like he was trying to scam me out of more money. It was by far the worst experience I had with a delivery driver and he sat outside my apt in his car for 15 minutes after he delivered my food. I still order from here sushi only. Im not a super complainer I just thought I would inform everyone of my experiences with them so you all can make a informed decision before ordering from here.

This is my 2nd time ordering from them and they cant seem to get it right! 1st time food came over 1.5 hrs late, and was asked why couldnt I just reheat the food. This time I ordered a soup, also confirmed my order with the person I taking the order. They comes an hr later NO SOUP. I called to confirm that there should have been a soup, and also inquired as to why I didnt get a receipt for the transaction. after spending $32 I wanted to know what I paid for - the guy went down everything that I ordered, minus the soup and then said there was a delivery charge! Delivery charge for what? when the menu says Min. $12 within 3 miles.. my job is like 2.2 miles away literally down Hillsborough, be serious! THIS PLACE JUST CANT GET IT RIGHT - Either playing with your money, or messing up an order. Not another dollar will be spent with you guys, your customer service SUCKS, not prompt & on time with delivery - forced to eat cold food ! and your ability to pay attention to a customer order is horrible. I told them the last time was the last time, but I decided to give them another shot - boy do I regret it now !

Ive never went to this place before, but when I did, I went with my friends yesterday, I was so disgusted by the racism, extortion, and service. Me and my friends entered and immediatley were met by a server that didnt want to accomadate us inside while their was a huge amount of tables available. So they first sat us outside in the hot scorching sun, we then asked for a lunch special, and she snatched the menu from my friends hand and pointed it at him, we then told her of what we were going to drink, and she corrected us all rudely, after that she insisted we would get a free drink if we left, but we at no time said we wanted to leave, yet!!, we were frustrated at the lack of service and waiter, so we finally left, that was me a spainish person, 3 other spainish people and three black people, I will never ever order or stay to eat their for a life time!!, and thats not all, when I went to watch the last mayweather fight they were charging 10$ for parking there and across the street. Im tired of these terrible people.

Ive been ordering from Tokyo once a week for 3 months now. Today, I ordered sushi to be delivered to me at work (only a 10 minute drive for the delivery driver). Upon arrival, the delivery driver was very frazzled and rude, ordered me around to sign and total the receipt, and before I could even reach into my purse for a cash tip, he said "Oh no tip?" and continued with "I need a tip, I drove very far to get here." Never ONCE has a delivery driver from this restaurant complained to me about the drive. If its too far, dont offer to deliver to me.. And certainly dont complain to me upon arrival and DEMAND a tip. Who does that? The sushi is great, but the awful service is enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

I went here with my best friend for my birthday. The menu was huge, and the pan-fried udon isnt something Ive ever seen before but its absolutely delicious. Also, Ive been to the best Japanese restaurants in Florida, and this place has the greatest inari sushi Ive ever eaten. The sake don was beautifully arranged as well, and my friend enjoyed it thoroughly. After dinner, we had tempura cheesecake, and I can say that Ill be returning just for that again! It was really delicious. My friend isnt much of a dessert person but he nearly fought me for it. We got a lot of food for less than $50, the wait staff was really sweet and enthusiastic, and our food came out super fast. Definitely a five-star experience.
