Small very authentic grocery food and dosa place that has been around in tampa for as long as I remember. I am very fond of this place as they will make (pre-order) some of the more rare and exotic ethnic dishes (eg khandvi). Doesnt look like much but the folks are very very nice and friendly. That is what matters to me and I make it a point to stop by every time I am in the area. Dont expect a menu or anything formal. Join onto a table and eat whatevers available. Of course, dosas are always available / freshly made. Didnt realize the benefit growing up in india, however, much of South Indian food is gluten free (rice based). Dosas are basically a thin rice crepe (unspiced) so, perfect for my kids and wife who are gluten sensitive and do not like spicy food.

Good food and good place to get Indian groceries. The food and the place has more homely feel than a restaurant or a shop. The menu is limited but everything we tried tasted good. They should definitely put up bigger and clearer signs to make that place visible and that it is "Open" from outside. They also offer delivery through Uber-eats. I am going to be a regular for this place. Also, this is one of the rare places that offer South Indian food in Tampa. A must try for people who love Gujrati and and south Indian food.

I dined here today, and I was highly disappointed. There are no menu descriptions, and the staff did a poor job of explaining the items. I asked that what they recommend, and they said something I did not understand in Indian. I told them to just give me vegetables, and instead they gave me white rice, bread, and some sticky pastry substance. I told them I didnt like what they gave me, and they still charged me $8.00, which was higher than any of their menu items. I had a terrible experience overall.

It is got to be the worst Indian food that I have ever eaten. A dosa that was soggy, a rasam that was so overspiced that it gave me an upset stomach. Most other dishes were overcooked mush. This is what exactly gives indian food a bad name. Very hot, no flavor and a dour yellow soupy appearence. Reminded me of bad food on the Aeroflot, the Russian airlines. And not to mention a pretty scary neighbourhood.

Make sure to check your itemized bill before you pay. I have noticed that they put items as 2 instead of 1 and that makes u to pay more.. Compared to other indian stores in tampa, it is a bit costlier I can say.. Chat items are good..Dosa is very bad...Dont go for Dosa mix to buy at all..
