Everything from the soups to the small plates to pastries to the coffee is delicious fresh and always made in house. The owners Nancy and Joe are always welcoming with a smile they take their time to speak to you to make sure that youre enjoying not only in your meal but your overall experience. Having grown up in New Jersey it was very difficult to find true Portuguese food in North Carolina and Fill My Cup Cafe definitely fits that bill and more. You can get your order to go but I would recommend sitting either outside if the weather is nice in the beautiful covered patio or on a cold morning/evening in front of the fireplace and enjoying either coffee and pastry or sharing several small plates with friends. They have special events throughout the month including live music and the cafe offers free WiFi so its a great place to also bring your laptop or tablet to do some work in a nice relaxing environment. This is definitely a place to visit if youre in the Asheville area.

Great food, great people, great atmosphere. It was my first time trying Portuguese food. I loved the soup with the sausage, delicious. I also loved how the dessert Maria was not too sweet and I had a bite of my friends peppermint chocolate pie. Im not a coffee connoisseur so the Portugal coffee tasted like coffee to me but I really like this place. They had a grand opening where I got to try the hummus which was my favorite and the peppermint chocolate bark. Great place with great customer service!

The staff and food here are ALL amazing. Service is impeccable and the sweet potato malasadas are so delicious. I havent had a bad thing here. There are standard tables as well as plush seating for a cozier setting. Ive met the owner and he is incredibly friendly and down to earth. I live well across town from here and will happily make the trip due to the great service and delicious food.

I come in there at least 3 times a month for the food. Its always great, the service is always friendly. I love the shrimp, chickpea delight and the Lisbon. One of my friends usually takes a box of desserts home to her family. Fill My Cup is definitely one of my favorite places for dinner or lunch, or even a cup of coffee.

Finally, great coffee in this area! The owners have created a cozy inviting venue for eating, snacking, or just sitting to enjoy and relax. Great new flavors on their rapidly expanding menu. Cant wait for spring when the patio looking out at the pond and the Canadian geese is open.

This place is tasty. I walk here from work for lunch every now and again, and its so tasty. Great friendly staff and the shop looks great. This spring ive opted to sit outside on their half covered/half umvovered porch to enjoy the weather.
