Food has always been very good and the sushi offerings are second to none in the Tri-cities. The biggest problem here is service. Its practically non-existent. On a slow Tuesday night with nooone waiting, we were told that it would be a 20 minute wait. Then after waiting that 20 minutes, we were told that it would be longer because "the kitchen is backed up and the manager wont let me seat anyone." Asked how long it would be, the server said he didnt know. During this time, no fewer than 10 different parties were turned away. No apologies, no nothing. Asked to speak to the manager and was told "they arent available." What a way to run the business! Wont be going back here any time soon.

Awesome food and atmosphere in downtown Kingsport. Went there with my family for dinner, including my six year old and infant daughter. Our server was extremely helpful and offered great suggestions. We ended up trying the Stir Fry sushi roll, which everyone including the six year old loved. We had the sesame chicken, which was also fantastic, and truly great quality. The quality of of the Sesame chicken and accompanying spring roll was far and away better than most any other options in the tri-cities--more equivalent to what you would find in a higher end restaurant in a larger city. We were extremely pleased with our meal, from the food quality to the service!

Pretty nice hip space in downtown kingsport. Good menu plenty of choices. Tom Kha Gai soup did have coconut milk but seriously missed the point, no lemongrass, ginger, fish sauce , cilantro .... tasted like coconut milk and chicken broth with maybe a little red curry, sad. Basil , yellow curry rice noodle bowl with pork, Youre thinking creamy brothy thai curry sauce and noodles, with fresh basil and tasty nuggets of pork, NOT, Super dry noodles tossed with indian! curry powder and tasteless strips of pork, utterly without sauce. What a disappointment, thank god I had a founders ale to wash it down. ]

I typically find that fusion restaurants arent that great. I was really surprised at this place. The duck pops are to die for. Every thing was so yummy! They do an excellent job at making the flavors interesting. The service is great and the people are wonderful. The only thing Id change is that Id lower the music. It was a bit to loud for my taste but it wasnt bad enough to deduct a star. Plus, they could play construction sounds full blast and Id still eat there. The food is worth every penny. I highly recommend it.

On Saturday-April 2nd, 2016, my guest and I decided to eat at this restaurant given the good reviews and it being half priced sushi night. The layout, lighting, and design are modern. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The food, however, was terrible-it was bland and poorly prepared. Later that evening and the following day; my guest and I became sick where we experienced terrible nausea/vomiting and diarrhea. You can find better food at cheaper prices from more accredited and authentic restaurants.

Yellow Curry Noodles with Shrimp - this dish had a skinny noodle, but not a rice noodle. The shrimp was good, but a little overcooked. The flavor was spicy, but not spicy hot. The curry spice seemed powdery, not smooth and creamy. With a dash of coconut milk or cream, it would have gone from just ok to delicious. We got there as a group of 5, and it was not fast - a full hour plus. We also had as an appetizer of fried shrimp, with a slightly spicy sauce drizzled over, which was delicious,

They have excellent food of Asian inspiration, but also dishes that will accommodate a friend who isnt feeling in that mood. (I recommend the Kobe burger and sweet potato fries is you are looking for some unique and great flavors). Their dishes are made fresh daily with their own special sauces that are wonderful. They offer vegetarian options as well. We always love 1/2 price sushi on Saturday or Wednesday too.

Ive eaten here a couple of times and not had the best experience. (Note: Im used to Osaka in Bristol, where the sushi is amazingly fresh and freaking awesome.) Lately, however, Stir Fry has really improved. The sushi is fresh and yummy (and I get their rainbow roll, so you can always tell if its not very fresh). The decor is great, of course, and the staff are good too. Im really happy to see them stepping it up!

Horrible Service. Visited here. Got a burger and a queso dip. Horrible from the start. We got a to-go order. Simple Enough. They gave us the wrong menu 1st error. Everything was overpriced. Finally after 30 mins we got our order in. Food was Ok. We ordered 2 waters. Not there. 2nd Error Went in to get our food and pay. The waitress STOLE 5 dollars to herself for a 20 dollar meal. Will NEVER go again.

This is my absolute favorite place to go eat!! My friends and family know that if I had my way, I would eat there every single night!! I have always liked sushi .. but Stir Fry set that friendship on fire and turned it into a deep love!! I have already requested that my birthday dinner in a couple weeks be held here .. so I shall see you soon my good friends!!

I ordered noodle, when it came out it didnt have enough soup to cover the noodle and taste wasnt right. I complained about that and they just poured more soup and brought it back. Whoever tried Thai noodle, they would have same idea with me - it isnt a Thai noodle.

Fantastic sushi! Super friendly waitstaff. I would rate the chicken pad Thai as below average, quite bland. I suspect it was made with a packaged mix. Dont let this stop you from visiting though, just stick with the sushi and burgers and you will be happy

Very poor interpretation of Asian food. Their Pho is an absolute joke. Other dishes I have had from there are bland, poorly done, and overpriced. Will not go back and had to write this review out of disbelief in this place having over a 4 star rating.

I never write reviews, but this place was so overpriced I felt the need to. WAY overpriced. Wait staff was good. Food was mediocre at best. I had to send meal back once, still wrong the second time. I didnt have time to wait for the third time.

Traveled here on business and couldnt believe the high quality sushi. The sushi chefs were real artists serving amazing dishes. I didnt care for the modern/trendy atmosphere because it attracts annoying customers. I will go back tomorrow.

Stopped in here on our way to Ashevile. Fast friendly waitress and staff. Variety of a menu. My son had sushi, and my daughter has chicken strip kid meal. I had drunken noodles that were tasty but needed more veggies. Would recommend

Very modern, locally owned restaurant. Menu has variety and doesnt lack (the burgers are just as good as the sushi or the Pad Thai). Relaxed environment. Service is excellent. If you havent given this place a shot, do so.
