My family and I ate at Asiana for lunch today, Sunday, October 5, 2014. The food on the buffet was cold, the chicken was dry and rubbery, and many food items we tried to put on our plate had been sitting on the buffet so long they were either stuck to the pan or had burn marks on it. My food was so bad that I ate about five or six bites of my meal and just pushed it back. My kids went to get some ice cream after they ate their meal and, when we all returned to our table, it had been cleared and our drinks were gone. So, we just sat back down at an empty table while they ate their ice cream. When I went to pay I told the manager about all of this and he dismissed everything I said and made excuses for the food and service. He also told me I had been the only complaint that day and marginalized what I told him. He acted as if he could have cared less about what I was telling him; probably because he really could have cared less. I found his attitude very rude and unacceptable for someone in a customer service and management role. I was not looking for a discount but the manager charged me full price without any apologies. We have been there many times before and enjoyed our meal. We can overlook bad food if the previous track record has been good. Everyone is entitled to a bad day. But the one thing we cannot overlook is rudeness and a disrespectful attitude from a restaurant’s management staff. We will not be returning to Asiana because of this experience and will share this story with others as well.

Took my family to the Henderson Road location to have a great birthday dinner for my husband on this past Saturday 12/17/11. We got there at 3:40 pm, advised waiter that it was my husbands birthday and was told that cant help me that they only give free lunch buffet. So bad taste in my mouth already. The experience even gets worse when my family goes to get dessert and a 3/4" roach is walking around in the colored sprinkles for the ice cream. When we bring it to the attention of the lady at the front desk she walks over takes the container out looks around the small area and walks away no sorry or anything. When we go back and tell my husband what just happened he goes to the front desk to speak to the owner or someone in charge. He explained what just happened and her response was IT HAPPENS.. (WHAT??????) he can not believe what he just heard then the lady proceeds to tell my husband well at least I did not eat it... ( at this point my blood is boiling) then the lady demanded that we pay for the food we just ate and would not let us go until we did. We paid for the food however, there will be a FORMAL COMPLAINT made at the local health inspectors office.

Went on a Sunday in the early afternoon. It was very crowded but there were still a few parking spots left. What struck me as odd was the method for seating people that were waiting. I was by myself and after informing the hostess of that, she starting gazing around the large room and then left to look for a table. She came back and said there would be a wait. I asked how long and she said, "I dont know, maybe 15 or 30 minutes." She then asked the couple behind me how many they had, and after the hostess learned that they had two in their party, she said for them to follow her to a table. The couple was clearly as confused as I was. They didnt immediately follow her because they said they didnt feel right going before me. They ended up following her and then another hostess told me to follow her. We literally walked by every table looking for a place for me to sit. After taking a tour of the entire restaurant, I was seated. It seemed like there was no system in place for the hostesses to know what tables were available. However, the food was very good and, given the volume of patrons, the fresh hot food kept on coming. Id definitely go back

It was my husband and my first time there. The atmosphere was clean, the food was pretty good and there was a nice selection. The wait staff was pleasant. However, our whole experience was ruined because the Manager (a lady with medium/short hair of Asian American descent), came over and scolded us for not eating all the rice with our sushi, (because we had the all you can eat buffet). Mind you we only had one serving of sushi, not two or three. We understand the policy *NOW* of not being able to get sushi from the buffet unless you are going to eat the rice too. However, in our opinion, they should have a sign posted, or at least, the Manager could have been polite about it and not (literally shamed us), and made me feel very unhappy and ruined our whole experience. We wont eat there again simply because we have both worked in customer service for over 15 years (including restaurants), and they way she treated us was like little children. We never treat our own customers that way. It was $25 for tea + all you can eat.

First impressions were a nice clean restaurant with a big buffet. We first started eating some soup as sample some if their fried goods and these were good. We then sampled some sushi and other things with varied results. Then were very optimistic when we decided to eat some chinese food. We were not prepared to have the worst Chinese food we had ever eaten or basically just chewed and spit out on our plate. They somehow managed to mess up fried rice. It was hard in spots and seemed like half of it was uncooked. Must have been sitting out for hours. Sampled a few chicken dishes and they were basically inedible. We filled up on soup and a couple more fried things and got out of there. This was literally the worst Chinese food I have ever attempted to eat.

My family and I ate here last week and will again tonight. My wife is gluten free AND vegan. Nacy steamed all of my wifes veggies to prevent ny kind of cross contamination on the grill, and they had gluten free soy sauce. Nacy also catered to our table, was very friendly and extremely accommodative , and even brought over veggie sushi that she personally checked was gluten free, since rice vinegar often is not. While there still could have been a chance of cross contamination with knives and so forth, my wife didnt have any reactions. Nacy was there when ever we needed a questioned answered or a plate steamed. Be care with the white rice since it is super close to the fried rice. Cant wait to go back, Ill be sure to update how this next visit goes.

My family has visited this establishment several times even recently the new Yao Location on Smoky park Hwy and both are nasty! Pricing is ridiculous especially for the slop you are served. Most times the food is old and over heated, lacks freshness and is mediocre at best. When Yao opened, I would only go in for the vegetable sticks they served it was the only edible item on the bar and the hibachi grill. Now they no longer serve the veggie sticks and I refuse to pay 10.00 for the grill when I can taste the freezer burn in the meat and nothing on the bar is worth trying to eat! You want excellent food go somewhere else I refer you to Yoshidas off Patton Ave next to Sams or Asakas off Biltmore ave. next to Moes and the train crossing.
