This is a great Chinese Restaurant! It has been difficult to find a good and clean Chinese restaurant here in Tampa so we were very happy when we found Hong Kong. Great service and delicious tasting food. They are clean and the staff is very friendly. The only down side is they dont make ham fried rice. My family and I are from Miami and are use to eating ham fried rice which they dont serve anywhere here in Tampa. I wish they served it but either way everything else is great, I could do without the ham fried rice ;) haha. God bless this business and their wonderful staff. :)

The Chinese food is very good at Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant 7026 West Waters Avenue Tampa Florida in Town & Country next to the Publix supermarket. Its my second favorite place to come for Chinese food the prices are reasonable this service is fast and the people are very friendly. My favorite Chinese place is China Garden in the Carrollwood Village shopping center off of Dale Mabry Boulevard. But whenever Im down at this Publix and I feel like Chinese I come to the Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant in Town and Country.

Just ordered take out from here. I ordered chow mein instead of lo mein. The guy at the counter was so nice to explain to me the difference and how they make it. Even though the order was done he redid the lo mein for me at no cost or did he? He could have lost a customer over a customer mistake. Instead he gained a repeat customer in me by his honesty. You did the right thing. Thanks for teaching me and earning me as a customer. And the food was great. Leo

AWFUL. I was with my Girlfriend and her sister and a friend they double charged me for getting my order wrong. Then I didnt even get to eat at the restraunt because they took forever(we had bought tickets for a movie at a set time) then after all of the nonsense we got sick from eatting there. I am not gonna waste my money here ever again

The people here do not speak very good English, but they have the best Chinese food around! We eat here at least once a week and every Christmas. The place needs some updating, but overall it works. I love to see when they have their children here, because it just shows how close their family is.

I moved to FL 3 years ago. Ive tried many other chinese restaurants and none of them compare to this one!!! They are amazing at what they do and to top it off, it tastes just like NY/NJ Chinese food! I dont really care if they deliver or not.. I live close and work close.. Its worth the drive.

The staff can be rude. But you wont find a better egg roll on waters ave. the food is always hot and fresh. The restaurant is clean, which over shadows the unfriendliness of the staff. They also can be slow on orders. 10minutes is more like 15-20. But like I said the food cant be beat.

NOT a fan. EGG ROLL was good however chicken & broccoli was NOT SO MUCH. chicken is very chewy .. Felt rubbery like and found myself NOT being able to bite thru pieces. The more i tried to give it the opportunity the more i got disgusted and gave up eating it.

You can tell a lot about a Chinese restaurant by their Egg Drop soup. Theirs is great, as is the rest of their food that we have had. This is our new spot. Very friendly kid that works the counter too, he was always smiling even with cranky customers

worse Chinese restaurant I have ever been, they use a month old black oil to cook the food, my mother got sick after eat their food. dont go there if you dont want to get food poison!!!!!! the place very dirty too

Good Chinese food place with a nice variety of combo specials on a convenient location. Their egg rolls arent as good as other ones Ive had but the General Tso chicken was delicious.

Best Chinese take out in Tampa. My favorite is roast pork chow mei fun.... a "must try" for sure if you havent already. Take out is always ready in "ten minute" . Very Good.
