We eat sushi ALL the time and a friend used to work here, so we decided to try it out. It was horrible!!! We were a little weirded out initially because no one else was there eating. Their koi tank built into the floor looked ill kept and had water so shallow that the biggest fishs back was partly out of the water and it could barely swim. The menu seemed overly pricey for the calibur of sushi they offer. Our seaweed salad came with a disgusting, withered marashino cherry on top and tasted old and overly salty/fishy. The Sapporo that we ordered was cool at best. At this point, we were iffy about even staying. We were hungry, though, so we decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. The sushi was just BAD. I worked for years at a very successful Japanese restaurant so I know whats "good" and what isnt. The avocado was brown, the sushi rice was super chewy and tasted like it was a couple days old, the wasabi looked like it had been sitting a while, and the fish was wayy below par. NOTHING tasted fresh whatsoever. Most of what was inside the rolls looked more like some mashed up paste they made out of older stock. The cuts of sashimi on top of the rolls were mushy and not much better. Their smoked salmon tastes like someone poured half a bottle of liquid smoke in it. We were starving and on our way out of town, so we ate what we could and got up to leave. The sushi chef was creeping on us like we were about to dine and ditch and he had to yell for our waitress to come out from somewhere because no one was around to take our money. They did not care at all that we were unhappy with our meal and refused to give any sort of discount, aside from the rotten seaweed salad we sent back early in the meal. The manager did not even bother to come out. When we asked, our server came back and simply stated "He said no." I already feel sick to my stomach. How does this place stay in business? Will NOT be returning. Dont eat sushi here.

My husband and I went there on Saturday, January 9, 2016. We ordered some sushi and three rolls, spicy salmon, tuna/avocado and after asking what was included inside of the last roll, a Geisha roll. When our dish arrived we asked for Gluten free soy as my husband is gluten intolerant. The server was nice enough to point out that there were many items on our dish that had gluten, including the Geisha roll. We were going to work around it and started eating what we could, but the server came back with an empty plate and asked us to slide the Geisha roll onto the other plate (we only had the chopsticks we were using). It was a very awkward moment as my husband tried to figure out how to get the sushi onto the other plate without touching it so I told the server to just please go make us one without gluten and we promise to not touch that roll. She told us that THEY want the other sushi back, and I repeated what I said. She left and returned with another roll. We finished our meal and the original Geisha roll was taken back. Although we admittedly forgot to mention my husband was gluten free, I have to question the management on the practice that they will not replace a roll without getting the other back? What do they plan to do with this roll? Re-serve it? Will the staff eat it? I felt bad for the server because she was trying to do her best with the situation but obviously felt that she was stuck in the middle. Our server gets 5 stars in my book. The restaurant gets three. The rest of the sushi we had there was sub par at best for the price. None of the sushi had that super fresh taste. We wont be returning.

Ive ate here before for "date night" and their food is great. Love the price and the specials. Keep in mind my husband works here while, our sons and I live in Florida. So, this should have been an enjoyable lunch as a family. *** Although, must say today my husband knew I was in the mood for sushi but, we had my two toddlers with us. Of course, I already knew it would be interesting with two kids and sushi. Already, was thinking of different foods they would actually eat and when we went in we sat down in the outside area vs inside. Of course, my kids and I got water while, my husband got tea. It was immediately noticed that we were noticed by the waiter for having our children and ordering water. So, shortly also began noticing that it took longer for her to come to our table then, it did for her to visit other guests multiple times and make chit chat with them. Needless, to say my sons were very well behaved and quiet while visiting this restaurant. No screaming, no crying, none of the usual nonsense that would bother a soul. I admit my 3 year old got some of the sauce on the table which, I proceeded to wipe up before leaving. My sons throughly enjoyed their chicken teriyaki and rice. But, I warn you that if you go with your children you may be ignored by the waitress as you may be perceived as a nuisance or bother. Must say though I loved that the young lady that worked there leaving as we did, made both my childrens and my day by acknowledging the snow cap his was wearing.

Great place...unless you get food poisoning. Wife and I have loved this as our favorite sushi place since back in 09. We have tried everything on the menu at least twice, the flavor is out of this world. Sadly my wonderful time with this place has come to an end. Friday shortly before closing my wife stopped to pick up our order of tempura shrip rolls and miso soup. Just a not long after we went to sleep and I awoke soon into a 3 day bout with liquids rocketing from all directions. My wife soon followed with the like. Now unfortunately I do not possess heathcare so no doctor visit for me, just the tried and true old fashion way of rest and fluids. We called Green Tea the next morning and got the run around, but finally got the phone number to their insurance. Insurance company was only able to deal with any documented medical costs, so they directed us back to Green Tea. Simply put Green Tea refuses any wrong doing, they criticized my wife and I for not going to the doctor, and my wife and I are out both a full days pay and the suffering of intence intestinal pain. What ever happened to owning up and giving customer service?

Had dinner here on Saturday. The restaurant was absolutely packed. When my company and I walked in the girl at the host stand was on the phone and didnt acknowledge anyone standing and waiting. Another server came from the back patio area and let everyone know that they were on a bit of a wait and took all of our names. After about 15 minutes we were seated in a cozy booth close to the sushi bar. Our server ended up being the same one who came and made sure everyone waiting to be seated got their names down and felt welcome. I believe her name was Jessica. We were very hungry and ask for some suggestions. We ended up getting the sashimi appetizer, which was amazing. For our dinner we took all of her suggestions and got the fire and ice, and two specials the geisha and blue ridge. Presentation was immaculate and the sushi was fresh and delicious. Service was perfect and on par with 5 star restaurants in NYC. It was my friends birthday and Jessica surprised us with a tempura cheesecake. Overall it was an awesome dinner. I cant wait to come back with a group and sit out on the patio.
