The food is amazing! However despite what they tell you over the phone, it wont be ready in 15-20 minutes. I waited 40+ minutes on an order. The staffs response was that what I ordered takes a longer amount of time. Thats perfectly understandable but its going to take longer just tell me so I dont have to sit for 20+ minutes in the store waiting on it to be cooked. They did offer me a free drink, but the next time Im in a hurry for dinner I certainly wont be coming here. I spoke with other customers who were all waiting on orders as well, one of which who said he would not be coming back because of how long he waited. Come here for incredibly good take out, but only if you have a lot of time to kill.

We enjoyed our meal, everything tasted very fresh and the vegetables werent over-cooked like most take-out restaurants. The rangoons were tastey and looked homemade, which we appreciate. Be sure to mix your food before you eat it, as the sauce tends to fall to the bottom of the container, where all the flavor lies. At first, I wanted more salt with my entree then realized it just needed to be stirred (to incorporate the sauce.) The wonton soup and chicken noodle were excellent.

We stopped by on our way through on motorcycles. The road construction sign holder had told us it was a good place to eat. We have eaten at alot of restaurants that serve Chinese, and Japanese but this food was so much better. It was fresh, the portions were huge, and the staff was as nice as could be expected with the little English they knew. We live over in Tennessee and will make it a point to visit this place often.

We eat here regularly and have never had a bad experience. We live nearby, and this is a go-go place for fast, healthy good food. A great alternative to all the fast mood places surrounding, and very comparably priced. We often get take out and its done well, and packaged perfectly. The lunch specials are excellent deals, and my favorite is Hot and Sour soup and shrimp egg rolls. Yum!

This is one of those small hole-in-the-wall places (but its in a strip mall!) that you get lucky to stumble across. I started going there when they opened a couple of years ago, have brought many friends and family there (or more likely, gotten food to go) and have NEVER been disappointed. The folks working there are very friendly as well. You can NOT go wrong here! Highly suggessted!

Discusting. I absolutely love Chinese food and I am having a hard time eating this. The rice tastes burnt and has no other taste. The beef and broccoli has no flavor at all. The broccoli dosent even taste like broccoli. I have had to add 4 packs of soy sauce and that isnt even helping. My spring rolls werent cooked all the way. I am very disappointed that I couldnt eat my lunch.

General Tsos chicken was sweet and sticky and not spicy, fried rice tasted old and greasy. Husbands sweet and sour pork was "average" and the spring and egg rolls were on the greasy side of average. Moms Szechuan bean curd was her least favorite shes had. The second star is solely on the egg drop soup -- I *really* liked the egg drop soup.

A favorite of ours. The food is always fresh and cooked perfectly. My favorite is chicken with broccoli, and their egg rolls are terrific. The prices are excellent, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Great place to meet my sweetie for dinner after work or to get dinner to take home. Really fast service, too.

I wanted to like this place, really I did. It was close to my house and looked good. After several attempts my wife and I looked at each other and said "Im not into this place". It is pretty sub par, even by Asheville Standards. Save yourself and go to New China 1 down the road on Patton, it is much better.

I just discovered this place a couple weeks ago, and Ive already been back twice. The cashew chicken is light, no heavy sauces or breading (just how I like it!), and the chicken is excellent quality. The people are so very nice too! Ill definitely be a regular!

This is an updated review from a year ago. Asian Wok is still a classic take out Chinese joint but thru have stepped up their customer service game big time. If you are craving take out Chinese and live nearby, AW will hit the spot.

Good cheap American style chinese food. They use fresh ingredients cooked perfectly. Their menu has everything youd expect to find. Ive never had an order take more than 15-20 minutes to be ready.
