Well I went in there for lunch about 12 at the bathrooms were extremely clean it was a hustle and bustle there the way to buy the name Tony came and asked me what Id like like any normal waiter I told him I just wanted to two eggs over easy and corn beef and hash no toast no home fries it put in the order he started to clean it was still serving other people I sat there for a half an hour eating my food and he he only asked me if I was sure that I didnt want my toast and homefries that come with the platter I said no he served me my food he never came back to ask me if I wanted any extra water he didnt ask me if I enjoyed it so unfortunately there was a lack of table manners but it may have also been because my bill only came out to 1184 and on a bill that youre not going to make a big tip on you should not treat the customer any less than if you were getting a bill of $100 treating people contingent upon how much they paying is not ethically right this is my opinion thank God we live in America everybody should be treated equal and like I said I dropped at this Diner $11.84 I did give tony a tip of $1 not because he deserved it but because I felt that I needed to still bless him My Hope and prayer for this place this gigantic place that makes a ton of money is that everybodys money is green and everybody should be treated with respect and not judged and treated ethically wrong based on how much youre spending at the establishment oh and I forgot to also mention that while I was eating the maitre d was cursing not out loud but actually having a normal conversation and nothing but sewage was coming out of her mouth as she talked to one of the workers that were there I was mortified not giving this place high ratings at all although in their defense it was only my first experience with this establishment it is also my last thank you for reading my review

Weve been to the Landmark diner about 5 times since they moved to new quarters. This is probably the best diner on Long Island - or at least the North Shore. The chicken soup, obviously homemade, is excellent. The home fries served with eggs is very good - ask for the home fries well done. The open hot turkey sandwich is very good - the turkey, I believe, is organic. The french fries (also ask for them well done) are very good. The only issue weve had is with the temperature of some of the food - weve sent the soup back to be heated up. Also, they brought my husbands main course before he finished his soup. The waitress was very nice and brought his meal back to the kitchen and even replaced the french fries but the turkey wasnt as hot as my husband would have liked. Everything weve had has been very good and the service has also been attentive. Weve recommended this diner to many friends.

When you walk into an establishment and the manager looks at you, grabs menus, and walks to a table without so much as a hello... run! I ordered the crispy calamari salad and it was pretty good, though needed more dressing. My husbands eggs came on top of a burn waffle and was accompanied by a metalic-tasting syrup . Besides the stares and awkward conversations happening among other patrons, the waitress was not very attentive. After having to wait 15 minutes for her to check on me, I had to request my check from the cashier/non-speaking manager- who continued to be very cold and unwelcoming- because my waitress went MIA. Considering that our 2 plates cost nearly $50, I was very disappointed overall, but mostly in the lack of hospitality from the manager and from overhearing racist talk among patrons at several other tables. There are a few pros and cons to the landmark diner. It is a beautiful diner, 2 stories tall, it is handicap accessible and the food is great. However, I must say the service wasnt so great tonight, and its a slow night. At least 15 people here. The host was on his phone the whole time while people were walking in waiting to get seated. He also didnt hand us our menus so we had to wait till a waitress came to take our order which took awhile as well. They also forgot one item that we had ordered. So overall I guess there are more cons than pros. But if you can look past all of that the food really is great!

Im very hard on diners because I grew in NJ and Diners are part of our culture. This one is pretty ordinary. Its very clean, the service is good, the food is cooked the way you expect. However, I do have to admit that I like their matzo-ball soup. They add in some shredded chicken and they use broth instead of just water. This place is clean and very quintessential NJ Diner look and feel. Its conveniently located. You cant go wrong with eating here.

The place has been recently renovated so its gorgeous inside. I normally just go for breakfast with the family. The food is very good. The service is prompt (kept my coffee cup filled). Theres a breakfast pizza that is not on the menu, but its flatbread with eggs, tomato, cheese, bacon, and hashbrown. Its amazing and must be tried. We usually go early so parkings not a problem nor is seating. Its a little pricey but the portions are pretty generous.

My family has been going to the landmark diner for as long as I can remember. Not only is the food always delicious, but the staff treats you like family. No request is too difficult. The Landmark Diner has always gone out of their way to accommodate my family and any special request we may have. Go to the Landmark Diner if you want to experience great food, amazing people and an atmosphere that makes you feel as though you are at home with family.

Only diner I know that charges extra $3.50 for fries with a sandwich. Breakfast choices are great, but youll still pay $13 for some special French toast or pancakes. You can probably do better for your money, but if youre stuck in bourgeoisville, you can probably afford it, or otherwise youre likely spending a lot of time at the hospital nearby and desperate enough to pay through your nose for real food.

I was at the landmark Diner few days ago. I was not at all impressed with the service. Waiter seemed to be doing a favor by serving us. I complained to the manager he was the same….didn’t care. I would never go back. Throwing your hard earned money on bad service and attitude is not what Im looking for an evening out.. no thx. Food was okay.. nothing exceptional, that can’t be found any other Diner.

Today morning breakfast was the worst . Because of the old waiter. He was not kind and impolite. When we ordered ,he didnt pretend to know it and asked us over again. So I pointed out menu, also he didnt pretend to know it. Even though asking to refill the coffee,he brought it without response . When I wanted to pay it and he knew it but he ignored during long time. I dont want to go there never.
