You know those reviews you read that say "I wish I could give 0 stars"? This is one of them and the first one Ive ever done this way. This place is disgusting! The person right in front, Im not sure if he was the greeter or manager, was sweaty and unkempt wearing a filthy "black" blazer that looked like it was pulled from a dumpster. Instant turn off. The waitress looked as though she wished she could be anywhere else but there. She tried to be friendly and even told us she had an additional job (nobody asked) but the laziness she displayed was totally unprofessional. The menu is expansive yes but the flavors are not. Normal quick diner fare like chicken tenders and fries for example were horribly overcooked and tasteless. A person in my party ordered stuffed shrimp, took 2 bites and left it on the table covered by a white napkin to prepare it for its burial. No one finished their meal and we were still hungry. We asked for the check and nearly waited a half hour for it. This was my second trip to this diner. The first visit was over 10 years prior. It was just as bad as I remembered. Waste of time and money. The third time might be the charm but I will NEVER know.

This was the first and last I will ever visit this diner. You walk in the diner staff are in the front no one greets you because they are too in tune their own conversations. So I came in with a party of five and we asked to split the bill 3 ways and the waitress said "My boss doesnt like when we do that." I replied "But its not money not everyone pays together." She insisted he just doesnt like it. We said ok. The waiter named Kimberly takes a deep sigh rolling her eyes then says "Forget it just order." Unprofessional and rude. So we still ordered and food took about 30 minutes to come out. The diner had only about 5 more other patrons so not sure why it took so long but ok. The other patrons were very loud, obnoxious, and using profane language every other word. Now the bathroom was not that tidy and have no hooks to hang your jacket, pocketbook or anything. Overall I would not visit such a business nor recommend to anyone.

This used to be a bright, fun place with consistently great food and service. Its gone downhill a LOT. Our server had a sullen attitude and made it clear we were bothering him just by being there. His pants, shirt and apron were utterly FILTHY and nasty - just like his attitude. He didnt speak or acknowledge our orders in ANY WAY, and barely looked up from his pad. The food was merely OK... nothing like in the past, when warm, gracious staff were happy to take your order - and bring you bountiful plates of great food. We were frequent visitors at USA Diner but this will definitely serve as our last visit. If you want a grim, silent waiter who makes you wonder what they might be doing to your food in the back, then this is the place for you! Bon Apetit! Ughh.

Soon as i walked in no one serviced me i was waiting to be seated for a min while everyone was just standing around and talking, so then the young lady said you can seat your self. I sat down and waited another 8 min and no one serviced me i had to ask how long i would be waiting before i would be serviced. A few min later she came over and asked me am i ready so i said how is that possible if no one came to service me and give me a menue i immediately got up and told her forget it. That is not how you treat a customer and the chick was hispanic at the register thats the one i was so discussed with the service i never been treated like that before when i went there.

With over 50 years in Queens, Ive frequented this diner through many of its changes. Recently, it has undergone a very nice face-lift as the decor has improved quite a bit. As for the food...it may have dropped off a bit. Its typical diner food, with an enormous menu. Its open 24 hours and you can get breakfast, lunch or dinner (with the exception of their "sauteed dishes") at just about any time of the day. The portions are quite big...theres no way you will leave hungry. But the food is a bit under-seasoned. If its late, or youre just looking for a quick bite, or want a meal to take home...this could be the place for you.

This was my first time eating at this Diner. I waited 15 minutes for a turkey burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was Bland but not bad. The server never introduced herself and took 15 minutes to bring me a to-go container and that was after I had another server remind her that I was still there. She also never checked on me . Although she checked several times on the table right behind me . The service should never be worse than the food. I actually felt bad that I was nice enough to still leave a 15% tip.

I have been going to the USA diner for the past 25 years. I have been there for breakfast, lunch or diner frequently for the past 20 years. I understand they were closed, renovated and this is the first time I visited since reopening. We waited 10 minutes for the waitress. When we got the food, my meat was raw and smelled bad. The manager came and offered something different. Another long wait. Altogether a bad experience. I will never set foot there again. So disappointed.

Service is definitely hit or miss. Sundays it is insane busy. I was seated with water, but no one came to take our order for at least 25 minutes. When he finally came over, no good korning, just "what do you want?" He brought our tea and coffee and I understand its busy, but this is food. Just throwing stuff on the table isnt appetizing. Ive been here before and a sometimes service is awesome. Also, Im not a fan of this new Bob Marley inspired theme.

Have eaten here in past, breakfast and lunch, was completely satisfied with service and meal. I wanted to eat out but stay local because of past experiences and in passing appeared to have decent flow of clientele I decided to eat here. I was totally disappointed. I dont know if it was due to staff/Chef change, my selections or maybe best time to go is breakfast/lunch whatever the case very dissatisfied.

If you are looking to treat yourself or your family to a good breakfast or decent dinner without straying too far from home then this is the place. It is a diner all you haters - get real. My family and I have lived in Laurelton for 22 years and we come here five or six times a year. Not because we want four star food but because we just want to eat out. If I was dating I wouldnt bring a first date here.

While the place was a bit chaotic and a bit pricey (lox omelette and 2 ojs @ $19) overall this is a very traditional diner experience. The wait staff was attentive considering how busy it was. The food was nothing spectacular but was pretty good. if Im in the area again Ill definitely stop by. While I wont go out of my way to come here it was definitely a nice experience
