okay. for starters ive been coming here for a good amount of time... with friends and family, etc. food always tastes good, but once you get food poising it isnt so appetizing. i spent my weekend missing a once in a life time event throwing up for hours and feeling miserable. my two other friends that were with me had to deal with the same, and no one else got it so that means it was the one common meal that we shared. today my family forces me to return here after my unfortunate experience in past so i try to stay open minded and be forgiving. i order an egg white omelet with peppers and mixed cheese. simple... but i guess not. my omlet was good. for the first few bites at least. i keep eating to satisfy my hunger but was surprised to find under cooked peppers and a STRAWBERRY. i cut it off and tried to continue but then felt an unexpected crunch. i assume from an eggshell and as i moved onto my potatos i look to find yet another unacceptable surprise. it was a HAIR. that is absolutely unacceptable. my bad impression on the turning point remains, but thats not all. i have a friend who works as a bust boy at a local eatery who has a coworker who used to work at the turning point. this coworker said that she left the former job because they dont properly clean dishes. they stack them and they sit in dirty water not really cleaning them so just picturing all of the other people that couldve been using the same dishes as myself that are uncleaned is a definite turn off. if i could give less than one star i would.

Today I ate at Turning Point in Seagirt. Its one of my favorites and I love the food. But today, I waited over 50 minutes for my food (we timed it). My friend and I did not mention anything til around 40 minutes when we had to ask for refills on our iced coffees. Then our waitress proceeded to tell us that our food would be out soon. This was just as 3 other tables who were seated WAY after us had received their food. She apologized and offered us chips and salsa and we said okay but all we really wanted was our food. When we called over another waiter (we felt bad talking to our waitress because we did not want it to make seem like it was her fault), he said he would check it out. Then he came back and told us the computer said the order was only in for 20 minutes (basically telling me I was lying)...but my friend and I just sat there and said well take the check. When the check came, we were charged for our refills of iced coffee. (Im an avid TP customer so I know that the menu says "Fresh brewed iced coffee unlimited free refills") and I have never been charged for a refill. After that, the waiter said he would take it off because of our long wait...but in reality, we should not have even been charged for the refills in the first place. We were extremely polite when dealing with this situation and I just want you guys to know that if you were dealing with any other customers they wouldve been extremely angry and would have caused a scene. I am extremely upset with my experience and delivery time today.

I love Turning Point & I especially love this location! My servers are always great, my order is always right, and the food is always delicious! However, the last time I went, my experience with the pancakes was not like my usual experiences at Turning Point. My pancakes & my boyfriends pancakes were both really tough to cut and chew. They werent light & fluffy like they usually are whenever I go. If this happens to you, just let the server know that the chef may have forgotten an ingredient in the batch of pancake mix used to make your pancakes because their pancakes are normally fantastic, and Im sure they wouldnt see that as rude, especially since their pancakes are normally of much better quality. You could even ask the server to double check your judgement or request that the chef has a taste to confirm that the pancakes may be lacking an ingredient. Im sure the servers & chef would be happy to accomodate & bring out a fresh batch of pancakes for you. The staff at this location is always very customer-focused & that is very much appreciated in the food & dining industry.

the food is usually great. The waiters and waitresses are very nice yet not the hostess, she was very rude and did not smile once. She made me not want to be there with the negative looks on her face she was expressing. She told us the wait would be an hour so we decided to shop for atleast 10 minutes, when we came back we asked how much longer the wait would be and she rudely told us she already called our names. When we watched her call others names she would wait approximently 5 seconds then give up their table to someone else without even calling their names twice. This was ridiculous, I am beyond mad that we didnt even get to eat we had to leave. Dont know if Ill go back, dont feel like dealing with this hostess ever again.

in sea girt we sat by the windows and got the nastiest waitress ive ever met in my existence, she was so disrespectful, me and my friend are young teenagers that didnt know we couldnt pay with a discover card, we were lucky enough that we had gift gards to pay off our bill, but when we got our recipt, she poorly communicated with us and called us out of our car when we were pulling away because she didnt get a tip and it was obvious that we were struggling to pay our bill .

Lunchtime - 25 minute wait for a chicken Paninni and an order of 2 eggs over easy while sitting at the counter! Then one of the bus-boys comes over to clean the two places next to us at the counter and sprays Windex while we are eating ... Ridiculous! I still taste the windex in my mouth! They compd the eggs ... Nice gesture but still not happy .... Wont be back..

Mid - day breakfast was good. Cook/kitchen staff extremely slow. Waited a good hour to be served. Waitress apologized numerous times. Manager reduced our bill for long wait. Total breakfast time was 2 hours. Kitchen staff needs great improvement. G-MAN

Great menu. Great waiters/waitresses. Just too many tables jammed into small areas, which makes me uncomfortable while I eat. But the booths are fine. Expect it to be busy, always. Big portions. Large front window opened up, which is a nice touch.

They have a variety of foods from breakfast foods and some lunch very good foods but unfortunately today we didnt have everything came back was either old and we didnt get the customer service we needed so basically Im not recommending this place

I love this place its so great they take care of you even better than family. Delicious food and Im not a Breakfast fan sorry to say I hate eggs and waffles and even pancakes but they won me over big time. Happy Anniversary! !!!!!

Amazing food and drink however I was unhappy about the cleanliness of the restaurant. The floors were dirty and tables needed to be clean - even one of my cups wasnt washed properly! However the food is so good Ill be sure to go back.
