We (my wife & I) have been regular customers of the place, and so far, there is nothing to complain about. However, few days back, some of my friends came over from out of state and we wanted to treat them at the Imperial Buffet, telling them all the good things about it, and we were there for lunch. Wish we knew the terrible experience we had to go through infront of all of our friends. We wanted to order for our drinks, the teenage waitress came over, looks like she goes to the local high school and working there to make some extra money. She got our drink order, for 7 of us, without writing it down, and obviously messed it up. When we told her about it, the expression of her face changed like she wanted to tell us that it was our fault. Then I asked her if she could bring us some ice, which she never did and I had to get the ice by myself. During the entire lunch, this girl and another girl of the same age were standing at the waitress counter, chatting and giggling together, and we had to repeatedly ask her to clear up the tables. However, there was another waitress, who was very helpful and running around the entire restaurant, doing all the works, while those two girls were constantly talking and laughing, doing nothing. I was surprised by their professionalism, and the management of the restaurant. If it was not for the good quality and the variation of the foods, we would have been really embarrassed that way.

Our waiter was friendly and was working hard, doing lots of cleaning and straightening up while we were there but it didnt make up for the lack of fresh food or the underwhelming, outdated decor. All of the food looked old....I wish you could have seen the mussels that were sitting out, they were in a butter/oil sauce and literally the top layer was solidified on top of the bone dry mussels. Sushi was watery due to it being rolled with wet rice...pot stickers were hard, wontons the same way. Salt and pepper chicken was soft, general tsos was hard and dry lacking sauce. Even the egg rolls were odd, they were different from any egg roll Ive ever had. On the way out I noticed our waiter who again had been cleaning throughout our meal, set the broom/butler dustpan that he had been using in a corner, dip a rag into a water bucket and wipe off the sushi station,and then immediately sit at a table with another worker and began preparing raw green beans. My husband and I both saw it and just assumed the worse......someone is bound to get sick if this is normal practice.

I was a very regular customer over the years to this restaurant even with the many new times ownership was changed the food was good and that was the bottom line. In my recent visit July 2011 the service was terrible. Our waitress was miserable and we seen her arguing with a customer a table away from us. She was extreamly rude to us after this incident and rarley came back to clear the table not to mention we were given our check well before we even had our dessert. The food is another story it has been going down hill for the past year or so. The food looked like it was set out for yesterdays buffet. The noodles were hard the chicken was chewy all in all the food just really sucked. To top it all off then the tour busses started pulling in. Sure its great for their business but when you cant even accomidate local customers how can they add another hundred people to the buffet line with the dried out food. I am totally disgusted by my last experience there and will not be returning.

I have NEVER ever in my life ate somewhere so disgusting! The buffet looked very old and empty, the bathroom was DISGUSTING, the food was horrible! It tasted old like it had been reheated 5 times. Everything I usually enjoy at an Asian buffet had a nasty after tase. The waitress was extremely rude and nasty to me. I expressed to her that the food was terrible and I was not paying for the entire bill. She yelled at me,gave me attitude,argued with me, and screamed at me to never come back. NO PROBLEM!!! I just ate there a little over an hour ago,and already I feel extremely sick, and have stomach pain. I strongly believe this place needs to be shut down! The sushi I ate tasted like a dirty dish rag, and all the chicken was hard as a rock. If you give this place 5 stars, you are mentally ill or have been eating out of the garbage your whole life and dont know any better! No wonder why this place was dead! If you care about your well being DONT EAT HERE!!!!

Just yesterday me, my spouse, and our best friend went here to grab some takeout due to not eating in a day. We decided to grab some crab rangoon, sesame chicken, egg rolls, spring rolls, lo mein, corn, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and some spicy pepper chicken. All the chicken tasted like burnt hair, the noodles were soggy, the eggrolls and spring rolls tasted floury like opening up a new bag of buns and having excess flour on them. The crab lo mein tasted like our lake Ontario and left an awful after taste in our mouths, and the corn was cold. Then a few hours after eating all of this, we started feeling a bit sick. A little time after that, we started throwing up. Soon after, we had diarrhea. Today we woke up in severe stomach pain and vomiting. We cannot keep any food down. So we went to the doctors. We have food poisoning. I would advise nobody to take their families here. The sushi they have has been left out for hours. Dont go here.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. This is the worst Asian buffet I have ever been to In my life! We showed up around dinner time none of the tables were clean none of the buffet was refilled the bathroom was absolutely atrocious the only food I wanted was cold soggy or ridiculously hard and crunchy the quality of service was disasterous. I only ate the chicken wings and lo mein off of my plate. When I asked to have it taken off of my bill because I did not eat it all the waitress assured me I would not be paying for my meal just for my wife. When I got the bill she tried to charge me for an extra plate and for water. When I addressed the issue with the bill she yelled at me talk down to me and told me dont ever come back. I was polite open and honest with this waitress. I will never ever ever come back to this location ever again.

Weve had the takeout before and it was acceptable and good (I picked up and drive all the way to Tonawanda). We came as a family before going to a movie. The food was old cold and very dry, seems like they just threw together things that were about to go bad. People walked in and waited 15 minutes to get fresh new food eventually leaving. I would not recommend this place unless your intentions are to get sick.

While I was here it looked nice but the food was kinda questionable. It was on the bland side, it looked like it had sat out for a while. Certain foods you ate you could tell that it shared what it was cooked in with seafood. There wasnt many people around and the service was kinda slow. The soft drinks had a weird after taste. I would not recommend this place. Edit: Gave my sister and I food poisoning
