Went with a friend on a Saturday morning after 10:30. If youve been to ihop before, you know it was nuts. We put our name on the list, we were told 20 minutes. We went to see if there was somewhere else to go, drove around, and came back...our names had already been called. ..ugh! I asked to be put back on the waiting list, but a gentleman--I found out later was the manager--quietly asked if we were two and asked us to step over to a table! We were seated immediately! I thanked him as he walked away to tend to other customers. Our waiter was Eduardo, and he was everything you could ask for in a waiter: attentive, polite, friendly, humorous (he called water "white tequila"), and very welcoming. When I asked about the specials, he carefully and thoroughly explained them. The food was really good- -especially the raspberry white chocolate pancakes. Im usually a straight up pancake guy but I thought Id take a shot at these since they were part of the special. They were so freakin good!!! Finally, I asked the waiter if the man I saw before was indeed the manager. He was taken aback and asked if anything was wrong. I laughed and explained the gesture hed extended to us and Eduardo called him over. Jimmy the manager smiled when we thanked him again. Id recommend this place in a heartbeat!

I came with my family. We are tourist traveling from Virginia to enjoy a evening with them on this date 04/18/2017. We were sat down by the hostess. Our waitress came and started to take our orders with bad actitud. when she came across to me to take my order I ask her for the Breakfast sampler but I ask her a simple question if I could replace the Pancakes for 1 waffle? Or 2 waffles and she reacted with a negative attitude telling me that she could not replace the pancakes for waffles. I only asked her for a simple question but she already had come with a negative attitude. My wife afterwards said lets leave the place after the manager also who decided to come with a negative attitude towards us. Manager Name is Robyn. So after that me and my family decided to go to a different Ihop location where we were treated fairly and respect. So If you are in the area please do not attend to this location their services are terrible and very arrogant. We thought the manager was gonna be able to help us with the situation but instead she came with the same negative attitude.

This IHOP is terrible! We waited over 5 minutes for our server- when he finally came he hardly spoke at all, he did not write down our order and because of that he got it wrong. He soon fixed the mistake with no problem but then over charged us for his own mistake! I also had to get up from my table and ask for boxes and my check and when we asked to have our bill changed he insisted that we made the mistake with our food. Im a waitress myself and I hate reading reviews like this but now I understand where these guests are coming from. After I told him how to fix the check he still charged me extra for his mistake. As I server I know what its like to deal with situations like this and to keep the guest happy all at the same time but sadly this man did not. Whats crazy is that my mother ate at the same IHOP a few hours ahead of me today and had the same server and had the same negative experience I had. I definitely do not reccomend this location and if you do happen to eat here, do not let Hector serve you.

My first visit in any IHOP : Wow ! The waiter had his training day but was already very professional. Very friendly service from the beginning to the end of our meal. We all enjoyed our food. Basic, but very good value. I tought Id give my advice because my experience was way more positive compared to previous reviews I read and this place deserves a better critic in my opinion. I found the place to be clean and well kept and all the employees we had to deal with seemed to care about customer service. One last word to Cassidy : wanting a 220$ refund because there was a bug on your niece ? You must be joking !!! There could be a bug on you niece at any place, including your own home. I dont see why you should get a refund on all the meals your party ate. This had nothing to do with the service and products you had. One of the most ridiculous client complaint I ever saw (and no, Im not close to the management, I live 600 miles from there and was there on a trip).

The waiter (Peter 1044)we had was horrible! We sat waiting for our food for 35 minutes and he didnt come to the table at all the whole time. Another waitress finally brought our food and surprise, it was cold. So I sent my pancakes back. Our waiter returned with new pancakes, at that time I complained about the food being cold and the long wait. He then with an attitude and defensively said hell take all the food back. Yeah like we want to wait another 30 minutes. Saying its a long wait cause of peak time, but then why would the food be cold. He let it sit. After that he seemed to be coming to our table more often and doing his job, but it was too late I was already extremely agitated.

Absolutely horrible. I mean horrible! wait staff ignores you for the duration of your visit. food is under cooked, or over cooked, or delivered super cold. nothing is more disgusting than half cooked pancakes. And yet, the sausage was so overcooked they look like little, hard cat turds. At least we knew the chicken wings were fresh, as they still had feathers on them after the frying process. Too bad I cant post pictures here. I actually broke a knife on one of their stone crusted steaks with "sausage" gravy. horrific. I wish I could give this place negative stars. Its the worst! I I will never go there again. stay away. be warned! This place is horrible!!!

Disappointed with this Union City IHOP they usually are more together. Stopped in today 2/25/14 with my mother for a quick bite to eat and host seemed to think we were invisible as he came back to the host stand and didnt even acknowledge me standing in front of him. It was the cashier (possible manager) that actually said you have a customer here. Then when we sat down. The waiters (can benefit from English as a Second Language classes) waited on everyone else but us. So we left! No need to beg you to take my money! When we walked out the host and cashier CLEARLY SAW THIS and of course said NOTHING!

This was the worst IHOP ever our waitress did even sat her name,our food was cold the tea tasted like mop water. The lemon were old, if I was coming from another country and I went to this place I would think all IHOP was bad. The worst thing we ask for hot syrup we did not get on till like we were done. And something bite my wife in their.u could never go back to that place. Sad thing g after we left she went to the cashier ask if we left a tips. That was the funny part. I would ask to take food back but I was afraid they might spit in it if I complain.
