Very Bad food. Okay-ish customer service. The gravy was watery and the serving bowls were half filled. After we were served the appetizers, it took them over 40 mins to get us the main course. Malai kofta ($11.99) came with 3 small cheese balls. Unbelievable. Paneer Makhni was so salty, it almost gave us a high blood pressure. When we complained about salt and quantity, the kitchen staff bluntly refused to acknowledge it. Also, the manager referred to her staff as "kids" and said they didnt know much. They had a bigger party of more than 10 people at that time, hence they gave them preference over us since we were only 5 people. I think they are way too full of themselves and think people would go there no matter what, but they probably dont know that customers are not stupid. The only person who was sensible was a guy who tried to understand our frustration but since their lady manager was so unprofessional, there was not much he could do as a waiter. Never going back and would not recommend this place to anyone who likes indian food, and especially not to anyone who is looking to try Indian cuisine since youre only going to be fooled. Its just spices and water. No flavor. Go on your own RISK!!

I found thz restaurant the worst one, bcoz I had ordered the murg vindaalo,n murg biryani unlike their name the recipes were not gud, we specially told those guys we want both the dishes to be very spicy but when v got the order ,I couldnt believe it the food was not at all spicy n tasteless n they didnt give any rice with curry which is usually given in every restaurant n the quantity n quality was given to us doesnt worth the price they charge, bcoz biryani was 3-4 days old n raita was given to us was left with bubbles within 20 mins since I open it( bcoz I had to reheat every thing , bcoz they gave us cold food) I had to trash it n murg vindaloo was the worst curry I have ever come across , very less n little chicken pieces in curry n in biryani both , n curry was full of potatoes n biryani was full of fried eggs.Thz was the last time that I had ordered from this place worst experience....

What an amazing experience we had! I called a couple friends for recommendations as well as reviewed a couple places in the area for authentic Indian food, and the New Indian Palace kept coming up. So I called to book a last minute reservation for 6 and the host on the phone was professional and pleasant, customer service is everything to me. We arrived within 30 minutes and everything and everyone was welcoming, the restaurant is newly updated, clean and sanitary, even the bathrooms were clean. We were a party of 6 and have been fasting for 17 hrs for Ramadan, so we were hunnnngry :-).... the waitress and staff was amazing, the food I mean omg the food was out of this world.... you must visit this restaurant you will enjoy every moment of enjoying amazing authentic Indian food. Oh and the menu pricing is great, very affordable. Thank you New Indian Palace for the great experience and food.

Dont go here. Waste of money n tip There is insufficient quantity for customers. At one time only 2 people can put the food and the serving platter is empty Run by unprofessional people. When the served food runs out, they get it so late that I was done with lunch. I paid money, the owner said the I put more food you can have it now. Excuse me, I m paying my bill. That is when they put the food. If you go at 2pm the food is served cold. The owner does not even care if platters are empty, The make you feel like begging after 1st serving Quality is just ok. Very greasy food No labels for buffet Please dont waste your money here. I will not give them another chance, already gave you many. U are thick skin.

My favorite place for authentic Punjabi food. Good taste , quantity , fresh, healthy and excellent presentation . Thanks for the lovely food Jyothi ! Our experience at the restaurant was truly memorable and delightful. Excellent authentic home made food served with nice presentation. Reminded of the best food in Amrithsar back in India. Definitely recommend to visit for either a quick bite or a sumptuous meal The owners take pride in what they cook and serve. This is not the regular Indian restaurant u find in most of the places in NJ. Everything tasted authentic, fresh, healthy and enough quantify to fill u up. Reasonable rates and friendly and very courteous service. Felt like home.

Yummilicious is an understatement for the food here! I got the catering done for the husbands surprise bday party for about 25 people. Considering the fact I have been staying here for sometime usually you wont get the fresh food but can guarantee the food Indian Palace folks serve is quite fresh and yumm in nature. All the friends who came to my place, simply loved the snacks, main course and desserts which they stated are even way better than the restaurants on oaktree ( who claim to be the best in Jersey) Honestly what matters to me is the taste of the food and I would recommend it to everyone, that its worth a TRY! You will come back here again and again :)

India Palace is my favorite restaurant for Indian cuisine in NJ/NY area. I have been to this place numerous times, and always had a great experience. Food is awesome and service is amazing. I would highly recommend Chicken Lollipop, Tangdi Kebab and Lamb Chops in appetizers, and Lamb Saag and Onion Kulcha in main course. Along with food, Managements hospitality is always nice. Jyoti maam, the owner, is a genuinely good person to talk to, and her son Vansh is funny in his own way. 5 stars to India Palace without any doubt. Go to this place with your friends or family, and you would definitely have a great time.

Update: So I normally dont update my reviews but after speaking to the owner I decided to do so. She was caring enough that after seeing my initial review, looked to see how she could have made my experience better. Turns out they were closed for a private event the day I went and didnt take any other customers that day. Also its on their menu that rice is not served with their entrees and can be requested when ordering. Both my wife and I really enjoyed the food here. Would be nice to see them serve rice as no other Indian restaurant Ive been to doesnt.

Had to wait for one hour to get the appetizer. When it finally came we felt the wait was for nothing. We had ordered Tandoori shrimp and it had no flavor whatsoever. Wonder how this place got good reviews in the past. Then we had to wait for another 20 minutes for the main course. It was also disappointing. Will not recommend this place to others. Dont go to this place if you are in a hurry. Stay away please. And on top of that the waiters are rude and inconsiderate. A Saturday night was ruined by this place.

If you want to eat authentic, home made Indian food, go here. Me and my wife felt this in the very first sip of the mulligatawny soup. Rotis are excellent. Rice and Entrees are delicious. The aroma of the food will tell you that it is lively and lovely. We really enjoyed the food. Finally, the great deserts completes the entire meal experience. It is a real treat to your senses. Also, thanks to their great care and hospitality. It is really a "FINE INDIAN CUISINE". I wish they had this restaurant in Bay area.
