I worked here for 3 days and it was the worst experience ever. The kitchen messes up all the orders and then management blames it on the staff. If your food is wrong they will not ask you if you want something else they will simply say oh well. A Friday night was slower then slow it was disgusting. Also if you do go there do not get their dinner rolls. The night I worked we were running low on dinner rolls and my manager came up to me and said once your tables leave if they didnt eat the rolls put it back so we can give it to another customer. I thought she was joking but she wasnt. If you didnt it came out of your check. This owner owns 2 more locations so they probably do that in all of them. The bathrooms are so dirty that I had to hold it my entire shift. Please coming from someone who worked there do not eat or try to work there its horrible. Teddy is the boss and hes in and out so youll never catch him. If you go in there youll deal with Angela and she has no idea how to manage a busniess. I cant belive this place is still open. Such a shame.

If i could give this a no star i would. From working here for a year i can tell you there many diners better off than this one which should be out of business. Which probably will in less than 6 months. Managers unprofessional and never pays on time, talks badly about her employees who do many favors for her. Tries to tell customers the hair in their food is from "there own house". REDIC.. The boss? Completele waste of time, crazy PHYSCO maniac. Food is never cooked right, old, and disgusting: i couldnt tell you how many times ive called the labor board and heath department. So if you feel like eating garbage and having meals over priced then your better off eating from a dumpster. Overslly, the only thing i enjoyed is the great waitresses. The only girls who can tell you the same thing and whitnessed the manager brutally criticize me for my weight and looks. But then again you probably could get better food from mcdonalds, and still feel good about yourself. (: enjoy guys!

Im liking this place. Im liking it a lot. Much has been said about the "old school" slice at Amore. This establishment and their pizza are of the same vintage. However, Brothers is less recognized and celebrated. Its just a hole in the wall along the LIE, easily passed by without notice. If you did youd likely not see anything appealing or promising about it. Walk in and it doesnt get much better. But then again, humbleness, lack of pretension are signatures of some of the best pizza joints around and defining characteristics of "old school." Pass by without noticing or caring and not giving Brothers a try and you will miss the opportunity to have the best slice around. Go! Tell them Eli sent you. Theyll ask "whos Eli?" They may not know me now but theyll get to know me well as I will be a regular.

The only reason Im writing this review is because I care.... My wife and I have been coming to Galaxy Diner for the past 2 years and loved it but in the past few months the quality of service has gone down the tubes. First off, every single table had all sorts of food underneath them. The mens room smelled like someone mopped the floor with pure urine. The waitress with the painted on eyebrows had the personality of a rock. The woman at the register stepped outside to smoke a cigarette right at the front door of the diner, then came in and walked straight into the kitchen. If this is who represents the diner while the owners are not present then I really feel sorry for the lack of future business...

5 or so waitresses ,sat at counter, some ice on floor two employees making a deal of cleaning up (loudly) one stating "not in my job description", 5 minutes later given menu listening to loud waitresses conversation about who gets called into work, finally asked if anyone taking care of me, one waters plops down a menu another with mop and gloves on asks if I ready to order, anothe waI tress correctly decides to clean counter area and set place mat and utinsel, another asks if I want coffee all the while waI tress not on uniform (HOSTESS?) Loudest of all. Had to leave thought I was cast I ONE FLEW OVER CUCKOOS NEST. Was not about to try out the food

ZERO stars - but they wont let you review RUN - dont bother - Poor service ! We were sat down & Never tended to So after 15min when we asked 1 of the 4 waitresses behind a counter ALL HAD AN ATTITUDE? - then we realized the table next to us got up & walked out.. also the table behind said they were sitting for 40minutes before they were able to order THEN 30min later - their food started coming 1 by 1 & all the orders were WRONG so they were in the process of walking out. - when asked management if this is normal they stated yes they are not understaffed this is what it is? HORRIBLE I have no idea how they stay in business

I hate to say this, because the older gentleman host is always so nice to us, but the wait staff doesnt always seem to have it together. The food is ok, but not great. When we go here, its because its close and convenient, not because its great. When we want diner food and we dont mind driving a bit, we prefer to go to the Reo Diner in Woodbridge. The sad part is that if the owner cared a bit, they could easily copy the Reos menu, upgrade their food offerings a bit and probably make a killing because theres no other similar diners close by.

Lived in Rahway all my life..knew it wasnt that good since it was sold but went there tonight with a friend..it will be my last visit..ordered grilled cheese and friend ordered French dip..mine was ok but her roll was so hard she just ate the meat.it took over 30 minutes for the food to come out..place was empty. The waitress texted on her phone most of the time and the guy that rang us up seemed like he would rather be somewhere else..food and staff are completely underwhelming..dont bother cause they dont!!

Used to be an enjoyable place with great food. The last THREE times I have went I literally sat with my family for 10-15 minutes without even a look from the "waitress". The service is atrocious and today I walked out for the final time. This diner is an embarrassment of what it used to be. The person who sat me watched us walk out and couldnt have cared less. Id love to say if the food is good or bad but, I couldnt even tell you how the water tastes. Save your TIME and money for someplace that cares.

The food is delicious but the service is absolutely horrible. It was Memorial Day so extra busy. They only had one chef today and two waitresses for the whole place. I know this because they complained the entire time. the manager was seating customers and ringing them up on the register and she was incredibly nasty. She kept complaining hey she should have been a waitress today. well then. if your nasty to the people there, do you think they will come back next time?! Probably not.
