First time experience. Recently went here on a Friday at around 3:00pm. Was surprisingly empty only about three families eating inside and a few more eating outside. We (my husband, 9 month old and I) waited about 5 minutes to be seated...no big deal. So we get my sons high chair situated put down his place mat look over the menu and realize 20 minutes has went by...no one has came over to take our drink order. We continue to wait now watching the at least 6 or 7 waiters who are coming in and out of the kitchen stopping to chat with 2 waiters who appeared to be on some sort of break eating their food in the restraunt fully uniformed, standing around at the front desk conversing with each other, oh and I cant forget to mention the girl who seated us took five minutes to stretch her legs out in the corner. We waited about another 15 minutes ATLEAST, still no one came over to our table even though we had made eye contact with multiple servers some of which even walked past our table like we were not even there. We finally got up and told the girl standing in the front no one had acknowledged us and she rudely said "sorry" in the nastiest most sarcastic voice ever as if we had done something wrong. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT GO HERE GO NEXT DOOR TO OLIVE GARDEN OR APPLEBEES INSIDE THE MALL!!! If I could give 0 stars I would.

I had my first bad experience here of the many times I come. I wish I could give it no stars but I love this place and food and drinks are amazing. My boyfriend and I were given gift cards to this place because we told everyone we love this place. And unfortunately I did not get to use them because we did not get served. I kid you not we waited a little over 15mins and no one came not even to ask for drinks or say we will be right with you. This was a Tuesday night, it was not busy and they had wnough staff members. Everyone passed us. We left our menus on the table and left and the hostess had the nerve to say "have a good night." We ended up going to Buffalo Wild Wings across the street and got served, food and drink in less than 10 mins. Not to mention the managers came over three times to see how we were doing. Were really pissed we didnt get to eat here because we were looking forward to our popcorn shrimp. And We were originally suppose to go to long branch area for the beach which is the opposite end but decided here to use our gift cards. So both plans never happened. Bad customer service and will be calling corporate. Really really upset.

I was there on Saturday August 23, 2014 with my husband and children ( 2 & 9 ). I ordered the shrimp calypso and about half way through I found paper in my meal, with a logo on it. I let my waiter know and he told me he would let the manager know and bring me a new meal to go. ( the manager never came over to us and apologize ). 10 minutes later a new meal was brought to me wrapped and ready to go. Today, Monday August 25 I am about to eat my meal for lunch and noticed a bow tie pasta ( just 1 ) in my linguine. On that night when I was there I had made a joke to my husband about one bow tie pasta in my linguine before I began to eat. So they thought they were getting over on my by giving me my same portion ( minus the paper ) and with some extra noodles thrown on top. That is bad for business....I really liked this place and am a little hurt that they dont have any honest, truthful and clean customer service. My 2 year old was eating from my plate.....how disgusting....if they will re-plate food contaminated with their paper, how ethical is the business practice and how clean is their kitchen. I am just disgusted and spent over 65.00 that night.

I used to really like Bahama Breeze until they became inconsistent with the way they serve their Jamaican jerk wings. I would go there on a consistent basis and one of their managers told me to ask for the wings "flash fried." When the chefs serve the wings this way, they come out with a nice browning and very juicy flavor. The past couple times I went and asked for them that way, they came out burnt. Additionally, the manager Rob gave me some lousy excuse about how they over precooked the wings that morning so all of the wings would come out like that. After complaining to higher management, I thought the issue was resolved and went back another time to order some wings. Well this idiot Rob tells his staff that they are no longer serving the wings "flash fried." He was just a jerk (no pun intended) and lazy. They dont have to worry about me going back and I would never recommend this place to anyone!

Not impressive in any way! Came here 2 years ago with family...had a pretty good experience so we decided to come back today for mothers day lunch since we happen to be in the area. Waiter had so many food stains on shirt and apron...it was 11:30am... how does a waiter have a dirty apron and shirt on at the beginning of a shift? We were his only 2nd table! I ordered the Avocado&Crab salad...for $16.00 you can get a better salad anywhere else in NJ! not worth more than $6.00! Crab was totally old... Lettuce wasnt fresh... I can go on and on. The highlight of my experience was the Spinach dip appetizer. Shall I say anymore? I still tipped the waiter 17% only because its not his fault the food was so lousy! Wont come back again...that is for sure.

Im only giving this place one star because I enjoyed the drinks and music only. First, I ordered the sampler. That wasnt good. For my meal, I ordered jerk chicken. The waitress came back to tell me they didnt have anymore. So I ordered lobster and mac n cheese. Lobster wasnt bad but the mac n cheese was horrible. The waitress offered to get me something else. So I ordered the shrimp linguini which was flavorless. I had a nerve to get rum cake for dessert. I know good rum cake and that was not it! Needless to say, the food sucks! Thanks to the waitress Katilyn for trying. Unfortunately, the people in the kitchen dont have a glue about island flavors.

Feels like a vacation when you are eating out. Near the Woodbridge Mall and a 5 or 10 minute trip from the Menlo Park Mall this restaurant helps alleviate all that tension built up from a struggled shopping trip or helps celebrate a successful one. The drinks are so much fun! Lots of choices for appetizers if youre not that hungry. My favorite is the coconut shrimp. Its awesome. Main course selections always have an element of surprise in the ingredients that make you say "Why didnt I think of that?" They have a patio and is great for large groups as well as just a few. Enjoy!

Where do I start. We usually love going there and always get great service but yesterday I took 9 of my closest friends it was a party of 10 and we got Isaac as our waiter and it seam he did not want to be bothered. He ask us what we wanted to drink never came back for refills and we had to keep calling for him served water and twice spilled the water on the table took half of the tables order and again we had to call to get the other half of the order. He looked annoyed the entire time its a shame because every week at least twice a week we go in large numbers.
