With all of the neighboring competition, Mirchi is hands-down the best Indian available. The lunch buffets are always hot, clean, well-maintained, and eons away from the lukewarm, worked-over messes of typical buffet restaurants. Walking in, I am almost always the only non-Indian in the entire restaurant, likely because the dishes are robustly flavorful and crafted for native palates. The options are bountiful for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. On Saturdays, (possibly other days as well) a dedicated chef is available at the chat action station, where diners can request a chat dish made to order with custom sauces to suit the mood. I prefer a samosa base, with spicy and sweet sauces. When short on time, the buffet is also sold by weight to-go, at a reasonable $9/lbs. This option has been fantastic for rushing home to catch the game. Easily the most underrated, hidden gem of ethnic dining.

Choice of food items is not bad. Most of the items are either bland or too spicy / hot although some are reasonable. They charge $ 20 per adult now which is bit too pricey. The serving staff are generally nice. The biriyani today was out of date, smelly and soggy. When reported to the management the response was very cold - "we tasted it, its fine"!!. Perhaps it takes couple of stomach upset patients for them to understand its not fine just to say its fine and ignore. Beware of stealth charges - I was charged around $50 today for gratuity - this is petty, disgusting and outrageous. If your party was more than 4 apparently its their policy to add extortionate amounts as gratuity which they keep as a secret until you are ready to pay. All in all it is not a bad place although I would spend my $20 elsewhere and most certainly keep away If I am with family or friends (party of more than 4).

On June 11th 2017, we went here for a friends birthday lunch. I have been to this place many time. the first time ( I think in 2014) when i went the food was very good, that is they time when they newly opened here in parsippany and most of the items in the menu were good. there was no item that you can say bad. Then every time i go their taste of food was degrading.. this time parata was like rubber, chicken curry was sucking, birayani and chicken fry were good though. non of the fish items were good, actually which was their signature food that i thought. to the veg samber and pongal were good. Mashrrom fry was bad. since they have many items for the menu , we can go there to try to find at least few will be good. but its not worth the money.

Great Indian food and a wonderful buffet. Not your typical lunch buffet, this is one of the biggest Ive seen. There is a big selection of vegetarian and non veg options and far beyond the typical naan and chicken tikka. There are multiple soups and deserts and the food has interesting options like goat briyani and fish fry. Everything was tasty though with the buffet, everything is the mild spice level which I thought could be a bit more. There is tons of seating so waiting is not a problem. Service wasnt around much for the buffet, but was fairly quick with the bill and offered dosas. Very modern and nice inside though the music could be a bit quieter. Perfect spot for lunch.

I wish I could rate them less than 1 but I am forced to give 1 star. They give you raw deal if you are vegetarian during their weekday lunch buffets. They charge $12 mon-thursday and on Friday $14. The veg. food options are very limited and they used to give dosa, now they give you old uthapams. Their soup is also bad. Their quality has gone very bad , in 2014 when they opened they were good but now it seems difference between day and night. If you want vegetarian food please avoid this place. I presume it is the same for all Mirchi Branches.

It was a disappointment! ... We tried this place on Saturday, the choices were very limited, food was not fresh and vegetarian biryani was rotten. The taste was not good at all and it was not fresh. For non vegetarians there were hardly any options. The restaurant is highly priced for their quality and the restaurant preset gratuity. I gave one star only because of pav bhaji and desserts which was ok. Overall, one should avoid this restaurant.

Totally ran into the place randomly and had a great time! The place was inviting and comfortable. The food was grear but was on the spicier side. I liked the different options they had for buffet. Like a mix of north indian and south indian. It wasnt the same old chk tikka masala all the time. Staff was nice and attentive. Overall a really great experience. Looking forward to going again.

We normally visit this place once in awhile since it newly opened and have really enjoyed it. Today was a total surpise though! They had a mega buffet with all the dishes you can imagine...like more than 50+ items. Everything was delicious and it was really fun to try new things. The price was great too.

Ive had Indian food before, but this place is excellent. I can tell they use the minimum amount of oil... so that means their food is fresh. We ordered the Masala Dosa, and it was incredible... so much food!!!! And the staff is super friendly.. they all speak English and can recommend what to order....

I always visit Mirchi as I live locally. It is my to go spot for amazing Indian food. Staff is friendly and is always ready to go an extra mile. Thier tandoori sizzlers are my personal favorites. Thier a la carte menu is better as buffet is not well managed.

Happened second time in a row, the food was stale.. I felt as if it was at least 1 day old.. Chicken was like rubber and smelled in the biryani.. This restaurant is in contrast to their other branches in Edison and North Brunswick. Not going there again!

They charge 18 dollars for buffet, items are not worth for 18 dollars. They serve "Goat Pulao" never had such disgusting Pulao in life. They had pesarettu, its worst pesarettu, half the items are worst. I WOULD NEVER VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN FOR BUFFET.

All of the starters were very amazing. The ambience was good too. But was extremely let down by their Gongura Chicken. Had a little bit of a stomach upset the next day. They need to pay little more attention on the hygiene.

Great taste and options for both buffet and a la carte! Unnecessarily overpriced without any additions to the quality or the speciality of food as compared to any other restaurant serving equally good food but cheaper.

WOW..! Starting with the friendly attitude of the service, the large variety of the buffet and the reasonable prices, you will have a great experience. We tried and we like it a lot. We will return often, for sure.
