This place can often have that were too cool for you because were hipster vibe, but the coffee is pretty damn good, I must say. Except that time I got an almond milk vanilla latte, which SOUNDED good, but just tasted weird. Their normal lattes, however, are delicious. Small little shop in the pearl - not much seating, but great for grab and go or just walking around in the Pearl. Plus I like that they participate in local things like the Portland bike community, savor the Pearl, and more!
Non acidic coffee? In Portland? I am very impressed. I picked up one their Italian roasts (they call it Italian but Id call it a Vienna) and its one of the first coffees where Ive been able to pick up all the flavors in the profile they put on the package, and more. It says chocolate tobacco and almonds but I am definitely picking up some dark cherry and soil-y notes plus others I cant put my finger on yet. Great beans.

they roast pack and ship in most of this old one story warehouse. the storefront serves all the expected versions of coffee along with pastries, whole beans, and coffee paraphernalia. Populated by the usual suspects and almost always an opportunity to eavesdrop on a next table conversation outside. coffee is good if unremarkable. the staff is always friendly. great views of a hole being filled by another apt building b
THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. you can see the entire operation while ordering your espresso. I had an Americano it was excellent. I highly recommend this to any coffee fanatics. It is a very small area for customers as their main business is wholesale B2B. But just to see the place is worth the trip. The Evolved Ideas team had a great start to a team meeting here.
Wow portland coffee thats not acidic! I knew it was true! I had heard rumors, Id read blogs about it and it exists! Medium/dark roast by Nossa, Teodoros Italian roast. Delish! The cafe is tiny inside, super cute. Very friendly staff and they have wifi. Outside seating is nice, some construction right now but otherwise good for people watching.
best chocolate mocha in town (make sure its iced with their special whip cream) if your looking for espresso they usually have several different type of espresso you can choose from which is unheard of in most coffee shops.
Cafe is small and not a lot of room to hang out - but this review isnt for the cafe, its for the coffee. Hands down the best coffee for the price. To get better you are going to Barista or something and paying $20+/lb.
Great little coffee shop attached to their full production facility. The coffee is always delicious! If you purchase their "Full Cycle" beans, they will donate 50¢ to the local BTA (Bicycle Transportation Alliance).
Excellent coffee, friendly barista, you can see their coffee roasting operation through the window, there is some seating outside (and house cups). As someone else mentioned, the chocolate whipped cream is amazing!
Ive been an espresso addict going on 15 years. Also a home roaster and relentless student of coffee. Their Full Cycle blend is the best espresso shot Ive had from anywhere to date. A true god shot.
Its a coffee roasting and processing plant. Yes you can get coffee and there are a couple seats inside. On a sunny day could be nice to sit outside. On a rainy day its pretty dreary.
Quality coffee, always. DEFINITELY make it in on a Tuesday at noon for the free roaster tour and coffee cupping! Youll learn a lot from the experienced crew and try amazing coffees!
Here is the summary. +Great coffee beans roasted by them +delicious espresso drinks +chocolate whip cream -cooold location since no best in their roasting place. Drinks are to go.
Out of all of the Portland coffee shops, this one is my favorite so far! Ive been to case study, barista, floyds, grind, heart and many others. They sure do know how to roast!
Small and personal. They clearly take care in all they do, and love to share their passion with others. Love the menu board!
Top 5 roaster in the city. They also offer you a free coffee when you buy a bag of beans. More coffee bars should do this.
Coffee was just OK (between 2nd and 3rd wave). Friendly space, and some food options (bagels, etc) which was nice
Great coffee in an industrial space. Love the raised patio. And the happy hour pricing between 3-5pm!
great coffee, intelligent staff, and so friendly. Always worth a stop when you are in the pearl.
Such friendly staff, delicious coffee, and the roastery is right in view! A must-see for sure!
Terrific espresso, coffee, and iced coffee to be expected of a roaster. Also a good cappuccino
They pulled me a double shot that had a nice. Had good body and a strong finish.
Great coffee. Friendly staff. Buy a bag of beans and you get a free coffee.
Hands down the best, and they do some great things in their community.
So good. Everything you could want from an espresso bar/coffee shop.
Not much seating here but top notch coffee. Good for take away.
Some of the best coffee in portland. These people are experts!
Good coffee, knowledgeable baristas, very little seating.
