Mexico Restaurant & Bar represents the best, most authentic Mexican food youll find on the East Coast. Ive eaten at tiny taco stands in Los Angeles, taquerias in San Diego and even cantinas in Mexico....and Mexico Restaurant & Bar gets it right. My favorite items on the menu are the enchiladas rojas and the sopes del rancho. Every order comes with fresh tortilla chips and a delicious, homemade salsa. If youre a gringo (like me) be prepared for the salsa to have a little heat. Service is VERY friendly and Ive never had a problem with my order. Ive sat at the tables as well as the bar & received excellent service at both. The bar is a plus if you want to watch sports because they usually have a soccer game on the TV. Overall, I dont think youll find a better Mexican restaurant around.

Waited for the last minute to make dinner reservations for Memorial day Saturday in Atlantic City, and Mexico was one of the few places that were available. From the outside, it doesnt look like much. But on the inside theres a nice ambience. We were greeted by the bar tender and maitre d and were promptly seated. I had the seafood fajitas served with a red pepper sauce, which was delicious. Their premium margarita served with Patron and topped with red wine was excellent. Service was fantastic, with no rush to turn the table. Overall, a great experience!

Great hidden gem in Chelsea for Mexican food and drink. The outside is nothing fancy, but inside is colorful and welcoming. Owner and staff are also very nice and informative. Ive been there a few times and the food is always great. Their mole and verde sauces are excellent. They can also whip up a good and strong pitcher of margaritas.

I went there yesterday with my husband and got the shrimp cancun for 18$ dollars they just gave me 5 shrimp with a little rice and a little salad without dressing It was ridiculous we spend 75 dollares for nothing I will never go back we spend the same at red lobsters last month this restaurant is just ridiculous

I have been going to this place long before I can remember. The chicken and vegetable soup, steak tacos, and sopes de Pollo are excellent dishes. They make authentic margaritas, and I am still dieing for their house salsa recipe. Great place to eat, or watch a soccer game at the bar.

A must go to. We drove 2 hours for dinner because we wanted good authentic Mexican food. Not disappointed. Crab soup out of this world and the best carnage Asad a you can find. I have been here multiple times over several years. Consistent good food great price and fun stall.

Everything is pre made !! Ordered a margarita tasted no tequila, so i ordered a shot of the house tequila and it was watered down ! Dont waste your time or money, all you end up is feeling sick!
