Food Review
Ate lunch here today, four adults and two kids. The service was a bit slow but the food was fine. Three adults, including myself, and one child, ate half of our meals. The server brought out styrofoam to-go boxes. The box for the childs food wouldnt stay closed, so we finally just took their food out and put it in a box with their moms food. In doing so, noticed several small dead bugs stuck to the inside of the box. We then looked closer at each of our boxes and they ALL had multiple dead bugs on the inside and outside. They were like tiny flies, with their legs and wings visible. We showed our server who said "oh I dont know. Im sorry?", shrugged, and actually asked if we wanted another box. We requested a manager, who came over, also said she didnt know (what does this even mean..) and that shed go check the kitchen. She came back holding a stack of boxes, offered them to us, and said it was just our four boxes that had bugs. The fact that they thought transfering food from a bug filled box, which means the food itself likely also had dead bugs on it, into a new box would fix the problem is horrifying. There was no offer of taking half off of the food that was now ruined, making new food, nor any other solution beyond moving the food to new boxes. Also no sincere apology for bringing us boxes that had dead bugs in and on them, other than said as an afterthought with a shoulder shrug. Gave us the full bill and we paid and went on our way, but will definitely not be going back.

I wish I could give zero stars. I went to lunch today with my brother and sister and law. The service was slow...we had to flag down someone to order. I ordered a taco salad....I didnt like it....I dont think, personally that shrimp and beef go together. I sent it back and ordered a taco....I was willing to pay for half the taco salad I didnt like, but the manager was so rude to me saying....its why we give u a menu, maybe you should read what you order.... How rude.. I told him that maybe if he wanted to have me and my family back that he should do something to make it better. After him sassing me more, he finally comped my meal. I will never ever go back here.

My family comes here often, but the service has gone down hill lately. Dont expect refills on anything. Tonight, I came with my husband and 2 sons (11 & 8) everyone was served food except my 8 year old. My server never came back to check on us and we were never able to get hers or anyone elses attention. I had to go to the counter to get my check and then explain that he never received his meal and that it needed to be removed fromy our bill. I never received a single apology or any offer of compensation. The food is standard mexican that we can get anywhere with better service. It will be a long while before we return.

Normally we love this place but a couple months ago it wasnt the best so we havent eaten there since today soooo... 1.)Im not sure there was any alcohol in mine or my wifes margaritas 2.)I had to search for the waiter (no one even in the kitchen) 3.)hardly any meat in either fajita dish (our takehomeasak is literally a pile of vegetables) 4.)I had to cut up the peppers myself (with the utensils that we didnt have) This visit was one star at best!! I gave them 3 stars because of their past being excellent...

We stopped in for a couple of drinks, but tried chips and salsa. If we hadnt already eaten across the street at Cracker Barrel, we would have eaten here. Great atmosphere and very clean restaurant and bathrooms! I got a medium margarita and was surprised at how big it was! Would recommend to all the truck drivers that park across the street at the QT to eat here.

At the resteraunt there is amazing appetizers delicious main courses and fast service.I recommend that you try the nachos and cheese and the fried ice cream dessert.All in all it was a great place to eat.They have awesome waiters and a great variety of choices.The only problem with the resteraunt is that it is freezing, but you can easily get over it.

I called this place asking to speak to the manager and whoever answered the phone was sooo rude. Everytime I asked a question he would say "how can I help you" he was uninterested in what I needed unless I was placing an order. Extremely rude person will never eat here again.

The "vegetarian" section of the menu isnt. They have a disclaimer "Beans cooked with lard." And all the dishes contain beans. I guess they think pig is a vegetable.

Good food at reasonable prices. One of the better Mexican places in the area. Their Herculaneum location is not nearly as crowded as the Festus one, which is a plus.
