We went to the Las Fuentes in Arnold, Mo on June 29th 2012 for dinner. We were told by the staff that the A/C was not working. As it turns out the A/C has been out for two days. They continued to stay open for business during this time. The temps during this two days time frame here in St. Louis have been over one hundred degrees. Now one would think that the business makes enough money to have the A/C fixed or replaced, or at the very least have fans placed in the eating areas to at least circulate the air. They had no fans and when I asked was told just that. We go to the Las Fuentes in Oakville frequently and have never been disappointed with the comfort of the visit nor in the quality of the food. I had the Carne Asada burrito, and as I was eating it noticed it had fillers of corn and peas in it and an abundance of watered down refried beans and very little meat, but did have lots of rice. The guacamole looked as if it had been made earlier in the day and the sour cream was watery. Over all I would say it was a very unpleasant unsatisfing experience! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING TO THIS PLACE!!!

Forget the other "Mexican" restaurants; I have since eating here. The food was outstanding. They have the typical "Mexican" foods youll find on most other "Mexican" menus, but they also have some truly authentic dishes that you wont find at other places. Everything was so flavorful. It wasnt just the food that impressed me though, it was also the customer service. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, but what really made me feel like even writing this review is, when they started to get really busy (it was a Friday about 6:30p), the owner refilled our salsa not to mention other tables he interacted with and served. He gave hungry customers free beers while they waited for a table to open up. Though they seemed at full capacity, he also didnt appear stressed during dinner rush at all. Sure, you have mgrs that go around checking on tables, asking how everything was, but this was more than that. It was genuine customer service; a rare beast to observe in the wild.

Went there today for a Mexican fix Ive been fighting for 3 months. (I watch what i eat and i choose my cheat days carefully) Ordered the enchiladas special (one beef,one cheese,one chicken,... ) The food was rushed out not even 10 mins after ordering,and it showed. It was luke warm in the middle of the enchiladas, and it lacked flavor and any pride a restaurant should have. To my understand,enchiladas are served with enchilada sauce,instead mine was served with what appeared to be watered down tomato sauce out of a can. (Again no favor as well) Whats funny is that Im no chef and dont pretend to be,but I noticed that watery tomato sauce and mentioned it to my friend before i even took a bite. Wish i didnt take that bite. Total waste of my well deserved cheat calories.

Inattentive staff, hit or miss food quality and typically very under staffed. Seems the management here hire the servers that cant cut it else where. Owner should look into making a change in management here. Go to las funtes all the time and all are good except this location. I know my review may sound a bit harsh but I have been managing food service establishments for 15 years, the problem at this location is mismanagement and anyone that knows me knows that I dont post negative reviews lightly (maybe 3 in the last two years)

Service was horrible my food was cold for the most part and I thought it being Mexican food it would great flavor but it was bland and way under seasoned. Also paid $2.25 for a drink the waitress never came by to refill. Definitely not worth the money. And the chips they give you tasted stale and greasy as heck, which is also how the tortilla tasted on my tacos.

Best in Arnold area, obviously not authentic but price is great and food never dissapoints. Dont travel 20 mi to eat here, but if youre near here accept no substitutes. Tacos AL pastor are the most authentic on the menu and are a refreshing jump into mexican street tacos for Jeff County. My regular go to when Im around.

Great food sometimes the staff isnt the best. Had my card charged twice before. Eating is good but when I got Chios cheese and salsa to go they only fill up the cheese dip half way and I called to complain about it, they said thats how they normally do it. Wont being getting to go very often.

Food was good. Margarita tasted like cheap mixer on top of being super watery. Server was friendly... however, when he served me my food... he had a very good grip of my plate... Being he had his whole thumb in my beans. I dont want to be rude, but he had disgusting looking nails.

Great atmosphere, phenomenal food,service 2nd to none..been there so much they know us by name as we do them. Tim- Manager Amazing, Nicole -Waitress Very proficient and Friendly. Great place to go for a party or just a few people. Our favorite Mexican Restaurant in St louis!

Awesome. One of the best Mexican places I have ever ate at. Service is always great, and the food is always spectacular. Never had anything not delicious there. If there is a wait, they usually offer the adults a beverage while you wait.

We brought a group of 25 after a softball tourney. Great food. Our server Tim did a wonderful job. All orders came out correct and glasses were kept full. We called ahead and our tables were set when we walked in the door!

Food was ok, our waitress tried to scam us of ten dollars when she gave us our change. She has black hair and wears thick eye liner, she knew what she was doing because when I said something she acted all nervous. BE AWARE!!

Good food, service and prices are fair for portion size. Clean friendly atmosphere although we thought the music playing over the speakers was a little loud. We would most likely return if we were staying in town again.

Very nice decor inside. Patio outside for those who enjoy the outdoors during the summer. My server was very nice and checking regularly if I needed anything. The food is diverse and very good.
