I am surprised by other reviews. Honestly, I was very disappointed. Did we go on a very bad day??? I went for the lunch buffet with my wife. The buffet was strictly chicken, with barely any vegetarian choices. The selection was tiny - this was the smallest buffet Ive ever seen. Credit for the appearance, the place is spacious and tasteful in decor; even the water came in sturdy, handsome glasses. The rest of the good to be noted were the chicken meatballs, the masala, and whatever it was that my wife had - some eggplant mush that she really enjoyed. What we did not like: Aside from the extremely limited entrees, there were no desserts and the salad bar was small with very low quality vegetables and only 2 fruit choices which looked dry and under-ripe. To be fair, I did not bother to taste them. The "naan" bread is not what Im used to, but that might be lack of education on indian breads. It tasted wonderful, but theyd put about 3 pieces at a time into the tray, which were instantly snapped up by people whod been waiting for over 10 minutes. The tandoori chicken pieces were very dry; as were, in fact, most of the pieces of chicken in the entrees. The vindaloo tasted like chef boyardee base tomato sauce, with spices. It was a regrettable expense of 9.50 each, plus tip.

I saw in another post that this place is worth a 30 min drive and I completely agree. Its 30 minutes from where I am coming from and I can only say its definitely worth and I will be coming back regularly. Short: Great friendly service, relaxing and clean atmosphere, great authentic food at a great price. I am going back and recommend everyone to come as well. I experienced great service with a very knowledgeable and friendly server. He made some awesome recommendations and I was content with everything. My girlfriend and I had the butter chicken and Chicken Shahi Korma with Naan and Mango Lassi. We were entertained and joked with the server and delighted by the rich and delicious food, all while enjoying the upscale décor and flat screen tvs. Best of all, this was all done at a very reasonable price. This is service that you cant get in the city. You really should just try this place....

I was absolutely shocked that my wife and I were the only customers in the large dining room on a Thursday night, at 7 pm! Why? Because the food was, 1) really, really good, and 2) Plentiful! The service was very friendly and attentive. (Probably because we were the only customers? I dont know). Regardless, the food really was good. The flavor and seasoning was above par compared to a lot of other Indian restaurants in the U.S.. I appreciated how we were asked how much spice we wanted in our food, and unlike other places, the spice in the food actually matched what we asked for! So given that this place is our favorite Indian restaurant in the area, were really wondering why its always empty when we go? Maybe its just us, but we eat out a lot and know the difference between good food and crappy food. This place has good food.

Good food, good service and clean! I never had Indian food before so I ordered based on recommendations from my daughter, I loved the dish but it was too hot for me even though it was only a 3. When asked by the server about the food I mentioned it was too hot for me but my husband would eat it later. The server asked if I would like a new dish but I assured him we had more than enough to share at the table already and there was no need for a new serving. Later, as we were leaving they handed me a whole order bagged up and ready to take home. Thats service! Will most certainly be going back.

Clean, modern, spacious, wonderful private atmosphere in a large dining room, great buffet, above superb vegetarian and vegan selection- best place in St Louis for vegetarians to eat some place upscale and intimate. The bar is nice but limited. Amazing menu with an incredible selection of well done classic and modern Indian dishes. Amazing array of Naan and other traditional Indian breads. The service sets the bar very high for restaurants in the St Louis area- friendly, hospitable, polite, respectable. Over all one of the greatest hidden gems of the St Louis restaurant industry.

Great ambience and food. I liked the place the moment I walked in. I was little confused about what to order. I was hoping not to regret my choice. I ordered malai kofta and aloo paratha. As usual the dishes around this side of country comes with rice. when food arrived I thought it was a papad once the waiter put the food on table it was a huge aloo paratha. Every thing tested great. Definitely can recommend to others and looking forward to go again and again and again. Please maintain the quality quantity and service over the time. Please give a shot to this new place.

I wish this place got more credit than it gets now. The food here is AMAZING!! Yes it can be a little expensive but you are paying for the quality of food and getting plenty on your plate. About $30 for 2 people including soft drinks is not that bad! Plus they have a buffet on Sundays makes it about $25 for 2 people. Their food is always fresh, cooked perfectly, and comes out in good timing. Staff is always friendly and ready to greet. They usually play Indian music and it really sets the ambiance. Please try this place!

I got an order of samosas and butter chicken. It was a slice of heaven. The best samosas Ive ever had and the best butter chicken Ive ever had. I ordered on the website and picked it up, so I cant say anything about the service, but they were very nice when I came to pick up my order. I even came back a well later to have my fiancee have it! He was blown away! The portions are large enough that you can half it and eat it later.

Hands down, the BEST, most authentic Indian food in St. Louis. We live in Kirkwood, and it is TOTALLY worth the 30 minute drive. You couldnt get a more friendly server than JD! He was super helpful with explaining each dish we inquired about, and helped us with selecting our individual spice preference on a 1-10 scale with each of our meals. The coconut and honey nan bread was to die for. Oh man, it was all just so good.

Lunch buffet food flavors were okay, not super spectacular. Had a good selection and food tasted fresh though. The restaurant was clean. At 1pm on a Saturday the place was empty. The women sitting us was very nice. I guess I had higher expectations since I was craving some palak, tikka masala and tomato soup but they didnt have these as part of the buffet.

I had never eaten Indian food & this place has given me a reason to eat it again. Although, we were the only ones in the building the calm atmosphere was so relaxing that even if other people where there we would have still enjoyed the place. Although, there wasnt a great deal of salad options their ranch dressing was great.
