We ordered take-out off of the vegan menu last night and the food was amazing. The side salad had this really good broken olive dressing that I could not get enough of and the vegan burger was very tasty. I am looking forward to dining inside the restaurant so we can eat this delicious food AND see the beautiful scenery . Wait staff was friendly and helpful. All around really good experience. UPDATE: we liked the food so much we decided to go back and actually have lunch at the restaurant and enjoy the view. So...the view was great. The young kids at the yacht club were going out on their tiny sailboats and the birds were flying by the windows. Unfortunately the experience left a lot to be desired. The place wasnt very busy (4-5 tables not including us...most being 2 people per table) but the service sucked so bad. The girl getting the drink orders had trouble getting the drink order for the table next to us and all they ordered was 2 waters and a coke. The other table by us got their drinks and the girl spun around and left without a word. She never even took our drink order the waitress finally came by for that. We asked for a vegan menu and 1) it doesnt match the one on their website and 2) they didnt have part of what was on it. We ordered a salad with that delicious broken-olive dressing and the salad came with cheese on it. We ordered off the vegan menu. Whatever. We ordered the avocado toast and write the salad. A very nice guy came from the back to inform us that the avocados were not ripe. At this point we just decided to leave. The drink girl opened the door wgere the nice guy came out and YELLED into the room to cancel our veggie burger. We paid our $6 tab and left. Sssssoooooo disappointing. I guess take out is the way to go. I dropped my 5-star rating down to 3. It just seemed like a very non-cohesive team. I hope it isnt like this every day.

Waited one hour and fifteen minutes to get our food , waitress bought our drinks when we ordered dis not come after 45 mins the waitress came and said she had no idea why it was taking so long. The owner came twice and checked on us. they did have a party of fifteen. But they all had their food for 45mins so that really should not of effected our order. The waitress gave one more refill when we finally got our food , and didnt come back to bring more tea or even check on us, so we had a drink for half our meal . Another waiter came and got my ticket after waiting and asking her for it. Another waiter got our ticket and after 15 mins waiting for her to come back he still had to go get her to take care of my bill. The owner did come and see if we liked the food. The shrimp scampi was amazing but not worth the wait and horrible waitress we had. Bartender and other waiter was very nice. We will not be back.

Experiences vary from person to person and I get that in some of the reviews. I too have had crappy service at 5 star restaurants. However what they are doing down here at Long Beach Harbor is something special. Their food is consistent, reasonably priced, and most of all they have something different going on all week. Taco Tuesdays...yes...fish and shrimp tacos...along with the usual chicken and beef...all you can eat oysters on Wednesday...prime rib Thursday... I love local places so there may be a little bias...however if you havent tried it you will enjoy the food but most of all you will come back because of the feeling you get when you eat at Brackish...WELCOMED! Cheers to the owners for for doing the right thing and keeping it real...

Worst service ever did not have half the items on the menu did not have the drink I ordered so I ordered another tasted like vodka watered down food took over an hour to get to us there was only 5 ppl in here dont know about the food as Im still waiting for it update received our food after about a hour and 30 minutes was terrible catfish was undercooked prebattered frozen no flavor wifes shrimp was raw oldest daughters meal was good the other two kids meals was ok the table across from us they brought two meals out early 30 minutes later they brought the guys wifes meal I have never seen a restaurant run like this in my life its a shame to as it is a perfect location wish chappys would open there they would do great

Excellent service and full bar. Ocean and marina views from just about every table. Even before you get your food, you will find this place welcoming and relaxing. The food is generously plated and well flavored. There are daily specials to try out. The only downside is the sometimes evident inexperience of the staff. But with views no other place has and a very friendly attitude, its easy to overlook the minor things. I will enjoy watching this place improve and gladly be a repeat customer. Give them a try.

Our experience was awful! We waited one hr before a waitress came to place someone elses food before us & after discussing this mistake between another waitress discovered the food belonged to another table. AFTER SAMPLING the food that was placed in front of us .... the waitress decided to take the food to the correct table . We waited another 30 mins for our order. Food was overpriced & BLAND.. we left hungry & will never go back !!

Has all of the makings of a great restaurant, minus the food and prices. $8 for a tiny side salad with poor flavored dressing and the crab cake was burned so badly we had to take off the bottom to eat it. The bisque is really a sort of cream corned chowder with large chunks of bay leaves left in it for you to pick out. Waited 2 hours for food... but the wine was good so that is why it got one star.

Absolutely terrible from the hostess to getting the wrong check. Hostess to busy on their phone to look up. Waiting staff was extremely slow considering there were only 7 customers. 1 out of the 5 things ordered was actually good. Wait 20 minutes for our check and it was the wrong one. At least there is a nice view of the harbor so there is at least one thing you can enjoy. Never going back.

Dropped in on a Sunday while traveling. The restaurant was not very busy We ordered our food, waited, waited, waited, waited, an hour! Asked about our food. The other two tables that were there before us hadnt gotten any food. The waitress I had to flag down went to kitchen and didnt bother to come back and tell us anything. We left. Wont go back!! Wasted an hour of our travel time.

This is an awesome restaurant with great food. The staff are accomodating and knowledgeable. The vibe is casual with cool Jazz to mellow your mood. Its refreshing to have the owner greet you table side. Of note are the incredible views of the Gulf from the expansive widows. A not to miss destination if in the Gulfport/Long Beach Ms area. I will return!
