Walked in with my girlfriend to a desolate restaurant- except for a cook eatting at one of the back booths and walking away without a word said to us. Sat at the booth for 15mins before seeing a server or even receiving a menu... Then, finally after about 30mins, got our food and my girlfriend has not one, but 2 black hairs wrapped around her guacamole, so it was an easy spot. We sat there for 10 more minutes while she waited for the server to come back, only for it to be not our server xD The attendant almost didnt want to take the food away after my gf stated she didnt want a recook.. 15 mins later, she brought a re-cook back.. We had clearly already lost our appetites, but they brought the order back anyways.. And charged us for it when we didnt even touch it.. I received a total of 2 refills while my gf, having water, only received that one glass the whole time.. In conclusion, can confirm- NO BUENO. Worst restaurant experience in my life.

Terrible service, walked in waited 10 minutes for someone to get my drink order. No refills on drinks or chips. then after 20 minutes my food not only had one hair in it but two! Told them I didnt want it remade, remade it and it came out completely different...then didnt see them again until they gave us the bill. Didnt even compensate for my hairy food or give an apology. Ill never be going back!

Good food. Great people. Owner came and visited with our group while we waited for our food. I wish more restaurants understood how to make their customers feel appreciated. They also always have brought out a small dish of their special for the day to let you sample the deliciousness.

Ive lived in many states and Ive eaten at a ton of Mexican restaurants, especially in Florida, but none come close to La Familia! The chips are made fresh daily, and the salsa is just amazing. Dave and Maria make it super personable, and the service cant be beat!

Excellent Mexican food. Fantastic light and airy fried chips and those come with a small pitcher of salsa for you to pour from. And you absolutely need to order a beer just to enjoy the presentation on the mug. Finally the food was top notch and very tasty.

Food was excellent. The people who ran the place were very nice. The portions were a little small. The chips were the best I have ever had. The bathrooms were very clean. I will eat there again. Nice place fair prices. 2 adults and 1 child $21 for lunch.
