The waiter was extremely rude to my husband from the moment we tried to order. He never checked on us once the food was served. It was our first time visiting so we were unaware that the straws were with the silverware. When we asked him about straws for our drinks he crudely gestured to the silverware and walked away...plus my husband didnt receive the drink he ordered in the time it was stated it would take to make it..just very rude and unprofessional. Not to mention the food tasted stale, like parts of it were from previous dinner services... When my husband went to talk to who seemed like the manager on duty, the mans response was "hes a young boy, youre an old man. You should be respecting him"...not the correct response in customer service situations. Not only did we leave with poor service but now an insult is added to our woes (BTW my husband is only 31...not an old man in anyones book).. Needless to say we will not recommend this place to anyone. I was hoping I could say despite the service the food would be worth the trip but alas, you are better off sticking with casa mexicana or on thé border for that matter.

The Food tasted fine, the service was mediocre. I ordered carnitas. My favorite dish is carnitas, I order them at every Mexican restaurant I go to. They were the toughest carnitas Ive ever been served. I did let the waitress know but she had no comment. I went there because of all the good reviews I read, it didnt live up this time.

Tuesday night dinner-Service was a bit slow. Waiter didnt really pay us much attention. You seat yourself when you walk in. And they get to you when they can. Would be nice if they had a basket of chips to the table faster BUT - Food was very great. In my opinion definitely worth the wait, and reasonably priced for the area.
