Been there several times. Its amazing, well priced, good service, and great food. When you walk in you can always see at least 1 familiar waiter, I dont know her name but she is about mid 40s to early 50s blondish brown hair and in the mid 5 foot range and is there everyday and is AMAZING she is polite and always finds time for you and even if something small is forgotten it is made up for by how well everything else is. If you even think to complain about not getting you straw or not getting extra napkins dont. I mean think they have like 2 waiters for that packed restaurant. And even if the meal is cheap leave AT LEAST a tip 5$ or more I dont care if the meal was only 10 bucks for you and your wife! Be nice to these people!

A "must try" if youre in or near South Saint Paul. Giant portioned great tasting breakfast & lunch served with a big smile! Almost everything is under $10, and definitely worth the wait if there is one. Meals to try: The Galley Special: 2 eggs, prepared however you would like. Choice of Meat, potato, & toast. All for about $5. The Tug & Mexi-Tug: American fries, peppers, onions, sausage, ham & bacon, all topped w/ scrambled eggs & hollandaise (Cheese, salsa, & sour cream on the Mexi-Tug). The Destroyer: 2 English Muffins, choice of Sausage or Ham, Cheesy Hashbrowns, Topped w/ Scrambled Eggs, Salsa, & Sour Cream.

When we moved to a different state for a few months, this was one of the first places we ate out when we returned. The food is AMAZING. We go there for Saturday breakfast. The wait staff is amazing and friendly, even the customers give it a small town feel despite being only 5-10 minutes from downtown. The food is mind-blown delicious. And you get triple what you pay for. Order less than you think you need, because the pancakes are the size of your head. This place may just be the best breakfast joint in minnesota.

Awesome food! I discovered this place on a run one afternoon and went he next morning for breakfast. Their apple cinnamon french toast was phenomenal, they give huge portions for low prices, and the staff is exceptionally nice. Dont let the outsides appearance fool you. My only complaint.... the stools at the counters could be more comfortable. If you like Keys Cafe, you should come here. While the ambiance isnt as cozy; the food, service, and price are all much better.

Once is plenty. Unless our mid-week morning experience was a rarity, these reviews are generally over-inflated love talk. The food was indeed greasy (ordered the veggie omelette with hash browns & wheat toast w/coffee). Omelette was flat and without lift. The coffee was bland and quite regrettable. My toddler did gobble up the hash browns, which needed re-seasoning. Our wheat toast seemed light and white. One server and a bit frazzled. Thanks but no next time.

Lovely place. Is more than a greasy spoon place. Pancakes are big and hash browns well cooked and crispy on the top. The American fries or diced potatoes are great. To my surprise the coffee is pretty good, not water down like most diners. Service is good. If you have a chance to seat at the stools do it, you may have the chance to meet interesting people. Its been a while since I have eaten there. I have been to busy to stop for my favorite dish, biscuits and gravy. The breakfast menu is my favorite. I never really tried anything that isnt in the breakfast menu, because its my favorite comfort food. Real homey environment, great place to go to meet the locals.

Ive been here several times...always on their game. Good greasy spoon with local color. Go with the "Lost at Sea"...perfect breakfast that wont put you back to sleep. T&T Galley and Little Oscars in Hampton are the best places for breakfast in my book. Oh, and good coffee (always important).

Always a great place to get a bite to eat, the line can be long sometimes. But it is well worth the wait and people move through quickly. Very friendly environment the, type of place where a regular will get up to fill thier coffee because the staff is busy and offer to fill yours also.

Today was my first time eating at t and t, a customer of mine suggested this place so i ordered for 5 people at work, needless to say this place has a friendly small town feel in the city and the food was top notch! Generous portions and very affordable!!! Will be back!

Amazing hollandaise sauce! You will want to drink it. Really big portions but more importantly, really tasty breakfast food. Very affordable. An authentic diner with quality food. My only disappointment was the coffee which was burnt tasting. I still highly recommend.

Its a greasy spoon, but the prices are right. The staff is nice as can be, and while the menu doesnt seem very big, thats because they dont serve dinner. My biggest gripe is that they close at two, because sometimes Id love to stop in just for a quick dinner bite.

If you are hungry and want some delicious food for a great price t & t diner is the place you should be. The proportions are huge and if you can finish you deserve a high five or a 10 minute nap. Either way i am sure to stop in soon. Maybe tomorrow morning. :D

Fair prices for a large amount of food. Seating is limited, so you might have to wait during a rush. Trust me, its worth the wait. And listen to the other reviewers and get a pancake.

Great tasting! Hearty! Weve only been here for breakfast and know to come early. Best hollandaise. My kids actually get up early on a non-school day because they love it!

A local favorite, small town style diner! Portions are hearty and the coffee refills are bountiful! Mostly a breakfast joint and in the greasy spoon variety.

The food is awesome, "The quarterback" is a favorite! There is sometimes a wait for a table, but I think its worth it. It b**** slaps Perkins in the face :)

HUGE plates! I recommend splitting, dads order of biscuits and gravy could have fed 3 people. It was a little to greasy for me but still really good

Get their breakfast to go. The restaurant is way too small for as many people that would like to eat there. I guess theyve outgrown their location

The best pancakes ever, consistently been the best for decades. You just have to go, and you have to order at least one pancake with your meal.
