Went here once due to hype from local friends and family, was pretty disappointed. Had to wait due to the limited seating, okay I know this can be the case for these little hole in the wall breakfast places (i.e. Als) but you can at least be a bit nice about it, the server was rude and seemed like she didnt want us to eat there at all - come on I know you might not have been having the best day but why do you gotta take it out on me? Second, the prices were really steep, they are well over on all meal prices compared to other local breakfast joints (i.e. Sunlight), I walked out of there almost $40 poorer. Thirdly and most importantly, I thought the food would be tasty for sure however it was simply mediocre. Nothing special, coffee needed to be reheated and so did my eggs, not sure if this place has new management or a new attitude but they wont having any more of my money!

I used to go here all of the time and it used to be great. Good portions, good price. Now every time I go I am very disappointed. The portions have decreased and the service has become awful. Today we tried again and I ordered the walleye sandwich which is $11.00. I ordered it with coleslaw, It arrived and the fish was fish sticks, and also received burnt end of something heavily salted. Keep in mind I ordered coleslaw. There where only 5 customers in there so it was not like they were really busy and just made a mistake. While paying the bill I mentioned the fish sticks and the waitress tried to tell me they where walleye sticks. No offer of a discount. Well I gave it several chances but I will not return. We spent $34.00 for lunch had 1 burger with bad fries, The walleye sandwich with fries, and one pancake for our daughter. Is that any kind of value???

Well I was already a bit irked my credit card didnt work and I had to run across street to bank to pull money out of same account that was rejected by them... However I was super craving hash browns so I went and paid the extra fees to take $ out of a atm that wasnt my bank. Got home with my order and I had very lil hash browns yet 2 sausages that I didnt want because they didnt have links... Probably explains the jump from $8 last visit to $11 and change this visit plus bank fees for a side of hollandais, 4 slices of bread and 2 eggs and a small amount of hash browns when I asked for large amt. I guess I am just not overly happy with costs and the unwanted food. The people were very friendly however.

I wish I would have eaten the leftover pizza in my fridge, but my three-year-old had her heart set on going to a restaurant. I had heard that the coffee was good, but I never received the cup I ordered, and our waitress never checked on us. The food was not very good, and I normally wouldnt be upset about this kind of thing, but we ended up paying $37 for the experience. Half of the restaurant looked like they were getting good service, so maybe its not always bad, but I wont be back to try it again. Please train your staff better.

They Cahill Diner is a great place to go if your SO is a fan of going to Gertens. Tucked away in a mini/strip mall kind of place it looks very non descript and not like a place that would hold anything of interest inside. However, the food is good, reasonably priced and the staff is always nice so we tend to go there when in the neighborhood.

I ordered the soup and sandwich my sandwich is only a half a sandwich and my soup was terrible the tomato basil and it costed $9 way overpriced my dad ordered a breakfast and they screwed up on his eggs he ordered scrambled and got sunny side up also they had no changing station for my baby to be changed in the bathroom will never go here again

Wow! I dont know if Ive ever had a worse restaurant experience! Indifferent staff and the food tasted like the refrigerator busted! Hamburger bun smelled moldy and the wait staff just said it was the normal cheese smell. Right... Ive smelled moldy bread before miss.... No offer to change out the order either... Will never eat here again!

We usually love this place, but today I had the worst sevice. We werent acknowledged by any of the staff for at least 5 minutes. The waitress was horrible about keeping the drinks fresh. And the apples on my french toast were chilled instead of warm.

This was my first time at Cahill Diner, although Ive been to Zes Diner many times and i know theyre owned by the same family. The service is just as good, and the food just as delicious. Gyro omelet is happiness on a plate.

This place has great service and the food is sooo good I recommend coming to the diner for breakfast which is what I had the French toast and everything where so good. Im hoping to try a burger nd shake next time I go.

Ordered an omelet and when I got down to about the last third I ran into some rancid sausage. They would not even take anything off my bill for serving me rancid food. Will not go back. Horrible management.

The food was good, I can easily recommend the beef stroganoff. The staff was nice as well. The coffee left a lot to be desired but aside from that everything was good. Prices are fair too
