This place was AWFUL!!! They charged us $20 which is about $5 more than what I usually pay at other casinos. The selection of food was very scarce. Lots of empty counter space behind those sneeze guards and the quality was horrendous. The white chicken was dry, the egg fu yung tasted like burnt rubber with the same consistency, the pepperoni pizza had to be gnawed through, the cheese pizza had a layer of sauce so thin, I had to lift the cheese to see if it even had sauce because I could not taste it and the dough tasted like yeast. The macaroni and cheese was unnecessarily seasoned to a point of intolerance and the green beans in the green bean casserole were definitely undercooked. For dessert, I had a choice of orange mousse that had started to separate and left a waxy taste in my mouth OR, chocolate pudding that had grown skin. There were no pastas offered and their fruit bar was again, stale from the day. When I see peaches sitting in syrup, they should not be dark orange in color and beginning to wrinkle. I ordered a coke which seemed to taste a bit low on syrup in the mix and was rather pale in color. The ONLY good thing I can say about this place is that the staff was very friendly and quick with our drinks. The next day we had a magnificent meal at Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville inside the Mall of America and it cost about $3 LESS per person. I will never return to this buffet but, I will leave some advice for whomever runs it, in hopes they read this review. 1. Drop your prices by a few dollars 2. You should double your offerings at the very least 3. change your food more frequently (maybe if you lowered your prices, you would entice more people to dine here creating a natural need to change your food) 4. If its not cost effective to make final servings towards the end of the day and you insist on serving your guests stale food, lower the price during those hours. If I could give you 0 stars, youd still only have 1 star from me, ONLY because of your staff. The 1 star I have left here today, is strictly for their efforts.

Servers were kind and quick - other than that, food was terrible and overpriced. The egg drop soup was okay, as was the Caesar salad, but other than that the offerings were meager at best. Beef with broccoli tasted overwhelmingly like fish sauce, meatballs were tough, chicken was dry, pizza had no sauce, zucchini corn fritters were undercooked and limp, chocolate cake wasnt rich in flavor as indicated by the sign. For the price Id rather go to Old Country Buffet (cheaper, wider variety, better food)- something I literally never thought Id say. We ended up going out to eat after this because we left hungry (and we arent people who actually eat that much). I see comments on other reviews from management about alerting staff when food is not up to expectations- but when 98% of the food is lackluster, Im not entirely sure what could be done to remedy the situation in the moment. The entire buffet needs reworking.

The food on Friday was only BBQ themed. The cashier said the f word. The salad bar was spinach and iceberg only. The veggie choices were lacking, steamed mixed or summer squash, and what was offered, the platter was empty. The only fish selection was deep fried catfish. The broasted chicken was dry. The "BBQ" choice was brisket. It was neither smoked nor sauced. The best tasting thing was pizza, probably because everyone was eating it and it was fresh. I was there at 7:00 on a Friday night and more than half the tables were empty. Im guessing because people have had poor food like me. Save the sad waste of food and head to the steakhouse in mystic. It is amazing and I have had the best food and service there time and again!

Best breakfast buffet ever, not to mention the wide variety of the dessert buffet that seems to have something different every time Ive been there. Thats not to say their lunch and dinner selections arent full of variety and flavor, but I must say, the breakfast buffet really steals the show for me. 10/10 would act like they have a gambling addiction around their friends just so they can maintain their dignity and avoid saying they go to a casino for the amazing food.

Interestingly after they have switched to Sunday things seemed to have been a lot slower. The service is still great but the food has varied. Generally speaking the crab legs use to come out in several batches by 9pm they saved all the orange ones and placed out all the darker ones which are normally dried and smushy. As for the offerings it seemed to have decreased. I actually did enjoy the quieter atmosphere. The reason for a few stars worth going to.

Phenomenal cuisine! Top rated chef...I enjoyed the blackened salmon with Brussels sprouts and broccoli it was spectacular for dessert I had the flan which is to die for! Literally dont leave without trying it. Also sampled the baked chicken which was above par...my experience was that comparable to Cesars Palace buffet in Las Vegas.

Mystic Lake Buffet. It has a great variety of food that is fun to try out a little of everything. The food seems to be made pretty fast so its not sitting under warming lights for to long like some of the other buffets.

Fair selection, service was good, but food was way less than satisfactory, especially for the price. Food was bland, and not appetizing. Wont be going back.

Disgusting food! Way to spendy for the food variety. Better off going to a normal sit down restaurant.

Super long wait. Seafood was good and plentiful but waiting over a 1.5 hours may not be worth it.
