Been here a total of 4 times in the last 6 months. Each time the food quality and selection for the price you pay has been declining. Went last night (Tuesday) at 7:30 pm...very few people there. Many of the dishes were bland and dry. Instead of changing out old pans of food, they simply added water to them to try to moisten them up. The broccoli chicken and their sushi were about the only highlights. Most likely wont be returning there any time soon.

This place has more options than some other local chinese buffets in the Des Moines area. It occasionally switches out dishes, but keeps several of the popular ones. It has a decent sized salad bar as well as some buffet grade sushi which does the trick. It also has a menu of its main dishes if there is something MUST have ;) Great place if you are interested in a meal you can eat quick or have a decent sized party.

Food was all old. No one waited on our table and when we left to pay the ticket said 15 but they charged 22 because when we got there it was lunch but when we left it was 5 minutes into dinner. Horrible service and silver ware looked un clean. Never going back.. recomend staying away from this place.

We went there one time about a year ago and havent been back. When we went, the place was also pretty empty. We very well might have been the only people there. So of course the food was old and cold. The kids hardly ate anything and neither did we. Location was good, but food clearly was not.

Sushi is decentactually, quite surprisingly, but they dont put sighs up for what is what on the sushi bar. Good choices, feels fresh, never busy (at least for Sunday lunch). We go maybe every other Sunday or a bit less.

Had a great lunch!! I eat Chinese often and have been all over the state and on a 1 to 10 scale of which I have found only 1 10 this place rates 8.5

Look at the photo I posted. An entire table basically empty for an entire hour. Go a few doors to Hu Hot and have a better dinner.
