Small place tucked in a corner of an office park, catering to the lunch hour local crowd. Food is served cafeteria-style, with a menu that rotates daily. I have never had a dish here that wasnt excellent. The restaurant does a brisk trade, and the food is consistently freshly-made. Occasionally, they will run out of an item, and deliver it to you in the dining room within about five minutes. Dishes include classic Vietnamese hot and spicy chicken, ginger chicken, beef and potatoes, spicy sweet and sour. Good Vietnamese crispy eggrolls, too. Portion size is generous, service is friendly and consistent.

I found this place while working in the area and it was recommended that I give them a try. I was not disappointed. It turned into a mainstay for me with menu items such as Beef n Potato, Spicy Ginger Chicken (my personal favorite), Chicken Curry, Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry, and others. Service is always very quick with a very friendly staff that are always ready with a smile. While I no longer live or work in the Twin Cities metro area, I make it a point to plan a lunch stop there when I go back, no matter which part of the metro area I am in.

Cheap and quick? Yes Incredibly delicious? Nope Walk up and say what you want, like a tiny cafeteria, pay with cash only, get a tray, enjoy. Lots of seating, polite staff. I had beef & potatoes. It did not taste particularly good or bad. Kinda bland or greasy, but nothing a little soy sauce cant cover up. Eggroll on the side was very satisfying however! Big and crispy and fresh tasting. Taste: 6/10 Service: 9/10 Portions: 10/10 Price: 10/10 After tax: lunch food $7.50 extra food: $1.50 water bottle: $1.00 soda/juice: $2.00

Ive lived in many cities around the country and eaten at many vietnamese restaurants, Ive never been to a place like Eden Restaurant. Everything is based on family recipes so you wont find the exact dishes anywhere. The beef and potatoes, ginger chicken, and beef and vegatable stirfry are my favorites, along with the eggrolls. Its hard to find, only takes cash, open limited hours, and changes the menu daily (except for ginger chicken, which is offered every day). These all add to the charm of this place.

A place I would have never discovered had I not looked for Vietnamese restaurants on Google Maps. This place is awesome. You get your pick of either rice + 2 entrees, rice + entree + appetizer, or rice + full entree. They have a couple of different things made each day and from what Ive heard the items switch each day. The employees were very friendly and I was in and out in no time. Food tasted great and Id definitely come back.

this little triangle between the highways is stuffed with businesses and there are only 2 restaurants sprinkled in there: kabuki (sushi) and eden (pan-asian food). eden may have awful hours, but lunch is the only time that these offices are all filled with people in the mood for asian cuisine. the food is really excellent and the portions are generous. its really tucked away but a good find

I have been going to Eden for years it is the most consistently good food in the cities nailing what cafeteria style Vietnamese should be. The staff is wonderful and always friendly. The food always tastes fresh and with the traffic doesnt sit long. Get there early and come back often. My highlights are Beef and Potatoes, Chicken Curry, and also Hot and Spicy Ginger Chicken.

An institution in Eden Prairie, Eden has been serving the same food since before I started working in the area in 1990. The spicy ginger chicken seems to be the main draw; I know its the only thing Ive ever ordered. The egg rolls are excellent, as is the shrimp toast. Just remember to bring cash or check. Credit cards not accepted. Also gets very crowded around noon.

Famous for huge portion of lunch! Usually comes with 5 selections. Can choose single, combo, or with appetizers. Food tastes really good. Beef and Potatoes is a must try! Its very reasonable price for its great value - food quality and mountains of food in a plate. Perfect for lunch if you work around that area. only open M through F during lunch though.

I just had lunch here. Great value and really great food. For 10 bucks my plate was over flowing with food. The ginger chicken was full of flavors that you dont get at typcial americanised asian eateries. Open only for lunch, cafateria style service and cash only (Glad I read about that ahead). And they pull in a crowd. I will be back.

Almost impossible to find (even with a GPS). Like almost all reviewers say, great deal for the money. The funniest thing is that they dont have Vietnamese food at all (unless you think chow mein and shrimp toast is Vietnamese) . Its almost entirely Chinese food with just a hint of Vietnamese influence. Definitely great bang for the buck.

First time stopping in Eden and it is a very small, cash only lunch joint. I had the Chicken Curry along with the Spicy Beef w/ Fried Rice and an egg roll. Chicken Curry was so so but the Spicy Beef had a great flavor. Egg roll was fantastic as well. It is definitely a hole in the wall type place, but worth a stop if you are nearby.

The prices are really good, and they only take cash. The food is pretty good, especially for the price. They have a relatively limited menu. Atmosphere isnt anything special, and its located in a commercial strip mall, somewhat obscure.

Been well over a year since Ive been here. Hot&Spicy Ginger, Fried Rice & Egg roll. I still think this is one of the best lunchs in town. Do yourself a favor and stop in some afternoon. My daughter loved the cream cheese wonton too

Meat and Potatoes is the best. Your whole plate is covered and stacked high with food. The cost is $6.95. They only accept cash. Its only open for lunch since not many people are around an industrial zone at night.

Great "go to" place for a fast lunch! Freshly prepared. Cant beat the value. Huge portions. A little hard to find. In a industrial business area. Only open for lunch. Limited choices but what they do they do well!

Cheap food. You can get 2 entrees and rice for $7.50. There is only lunch time (no dinner) and I paid cash. They like to burn their Lo Mein. Pork and Potatoes is a good dish there.

Solid lunch option if you are in the area. This place is only open 3 hours a day, but has been around for at least 18 years for a reason - the food is good.

Tasty! Spicy Ginger Chicken is not hot (in a good way). Hearty portions. Hard to find, no signs, located in a strip mall in an office/industrial area.
